I spent a week with 8 friends in this amazing home. My only trepidation (before our arrival) about this home was - if we would be on top of each other or not. We weren't! The house is very spacious. The generous bedrooms, and common areas made for a most comfortable vacation. It's in close proximity to downtown Wilton Manors - if that's what you are looking for, and just a short drive to the beach. I'm a runner, and enjoyed exploring the area on foot from the house to the shoreline, through Las Olas, and back. Two negatives - and these are mostly operator error - the remote for the pool and spa was beyond my comprehension! I couldn't figure it out. There are instructions, but who reads them?! Anyway, my friends did and they figured it out. Finally, the alarm system, you have to be very careful to not arm the house when you are in it. Which happened to me and I had tried to avoid that happening. It was a simple mistake, and the owners apologized for the inconvenience, as did I the next day. It was regrettable, but these things happen. I don't fault the owners for it, just a word to the wise. Don't move the lock on the great room door past the red line or you might have a night to remember. All the amenities are great, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and it was all in all a very luxurious vacation. Ray and Chuck were a pleasure to work with from the first moment we made contact. We contacted several other properties in Wilton Manors on our search but no one treated us the way that Ray and Chuck did. The experience was similar to renting a villa at a hotel. We (me and my friends) travel frequently, and are pretty discerning. Everyone of us has expressed interest in renting the same house next year. Finally - a thank you to Ray and Chuck who were so kind and thoughtful even with the barrage of questions I had.

Myself and four friends were lucky to find this beautiful home to rent as a girls getaway from the cold Midwest winter. Honestly, the pictures on the homeaway site do not due this house justice! The interior of the house is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably maintained. Initially, we were looking for a beachfront location. However, after finding this house we realized there is no need for a beachfront property. Although the house is close to the beach we enjoyed the amazing pool and hot tub each day instead of heading to the beach. The pool has an "infinity" feel to it since it's adjacent to the river. The location is also walkable to nearby stores and shops. Ray, one of the property owners was great to work with. Always helpful and very prompt in responding to our questions. I plan to rent this house again. From this review, it's obvious I highly recommend this house. From this experience, I am interested in renting Ray's additional properties located in California. Thanks again Ray and Chuck for making our stay a marvelous one!

We stayed at the house for a month and really enjoyed it. The house looks just like the pictures on this website. It is very clean, very comfortable and well-equipped. The weekly maid service is very nice. The technology is 1st class and fairly easy to use. The location is great, an easy walk to Wilton Drive. We also really enjoyed the little restaurant, Candela, that was just on the other side of the river. The pool and hot tub are really nice. The pool was shaded by the house most of the afternoon but there are spots around the pool to be in the sun. Chuck and Ray are great. The few times we needed to contact them they were very responsive and accommodating. It was a pleasure to rent their home.

What everyone else has said about this house is true. This is truly a magnificent home, the pictures do not give it justice, you have to see it to believe it. It's located in a great area, close enough for all your needs and far enough away for some peace and quiet. If you stay here you will love it. The owners are a pleasure to deal with, and no hassles. All of this adds up to a great vacation property well worth visiting.

Everything the owners wrote about this home in the description is true. The upstairs front bedroom has an amazing porch, perfect for morning coffee and reading. The dock in the back has such beautiful sunrise views, and many opportunities for connecting with nature. There is a paddle board and kayak rental place nearby, and you can have fun with these sports right in your back yard off the dock. Very well appointed home. We loved the soft, fluffy towels that were ample. Great technology as well for tv / movie viewing. This is a perfect home for a big family! My kids (boys, ages 6 and 11) were fishing and crabbing out on the dock every single day while us adults lounged at the pool. The two are located close to each other so this made it easier for us to relax since we could see the kids having their fun. The kids caught numerous sea creatures (we returned them all to the water!) including crabs of all sizes, fish and even a stingray! In the yard there were lots of little lizards that my boys also had fun chasing around. Inside the home is it immaculately clean and very organized. Anything you might have questions about is clearly explained. There are many great places to eat nearby (one of our favorites was Rosie's!) and you are also close to the beaches. Thanks Ray and Chuck for all the work you do to maintain this awesome home-- it made our 10-day stay fabulous!

Terrific home with everything-plus included. Very kind owners that were easy to work with in every way. Very high tech home with a guide book with all the answers. This would be a wonderful place for a large extended family to kick back and really enjoy. Love the private areas the home had inside and out. 5 star all the way!

. . . If you don't like a vacation home that comes with just about every convenience and comfort that you can imagine, if you hate those places that are clean and bright and equipped with everything you'll ever need, if you loathe sundowners on the dock as the odd kayaker floats by, if you disdain swimming pools that are always the right temperature and if you never want to leave because everything is just right, then you shouldn't stay at this house.
