The setting of the house on the water is amazing! You walk in the front door and just see water through the large sliding glass doors. You have the beach in front, pool in front, runway to your left, and dock at rear, this house has it all. Everything we needed in the kitchen, towels, and bathroom supplies. Tortuga did an awesome job with our groceries and picking us up at the dock. Will be back!

We LOVED staying in this home in PARADISE and look forward to returning! (I am reluctant to post this as I'm afraid that others will find out about this amazing home with the incredible view and it will be booked so much that we can't get back in to stay :))

We had so much fun at North Captiva Island and we loved the Blue Marlin home! Very clean, very well stocked and just beautiful! The owner was such a pleasure to work with. TORTUGA Properties did a great job with managing our stay. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time to North Captiva and the Blue Marlin and it exceeded our expectations! Kelley and Billy made our trip so easy from how to get there to having our groceries stocked and ready for our arrival. The pictures of this beautiful home and island don’t do it justice! We saw the dolphins and manatees daily, enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and made great use of the heated pool. We can’t wait to return next year!

Loved this house!! Kelly has stocked it to the max, we really didn't need to bring anything besides our clothes and food we wanted to eat. With that being said, the house is beautiful and beautifully decorated, amazing views, nice towels, bedding, etc. My daughter and her boyfriend loved taking the kayaks out and hanging out with the dolphins. Already planning our next vacation to come back! Thank you Kelly for everything..

We had a great stay at The Blue Marlin! The house is so clean and equipped with everything you might want for a beach vacation. Owners were quick and responsive to all communications and house manager Billy, helped to make our stay spectacular from beginning to end! We are already planning when we can return!!

The house is absolutely beautiful. It is well designed and well kept with excellent facilities. The view is great. Most days we just sat on the back porch and watched the dolphins. We lost count of how many we saw. We would definitely recommend this property. There were only 2 of us with a small dog and the property is probably best suited for a larger group but we loved having the whole place to ourselves.

I am writing this review on behalf of three couples who who spent a wonderful week at The Blue Marlin last week. The house and property exceeded all of our expectations! The pictures on line were wonderful and drew us to want to stay there, but there is no way pictures could do this place justice. Absolutely breathtaking. The deck, pool, landscaping, and location were awesome. Ideal sunrise views and great place to chill in the evenings with a glass of wine and some locally caught grilled snapper. Spacious great room, nicely equipped kitchen, and large dining room table (with one of the best views in North Captiva) made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Attention to detail was impressive . . . Everything from the color scheme to nautical accents to the reading nook / day bed to the ice cream maker (they sent ahead recipes and instruction manual which was a nice touch). Bedrooms were nicely appointed and worked for the 6 of us. Oddly enough, a highlight was the outdoor shower on the upper deck. Very discrete . . . Something liberating about a shower outside with a wonderful view. Every part of our logistics, getting groceries stocked, carts delivered to dock, and communications to / from the owners and Billy (the House Manager) took most of the stress out of getting in and settled. We did hire Billy, who is also private chef, to cook a pretty amazing meal one night . . . Great food and a great time. Made use of the dock for Capt Mark (of Olde Salty Island Charters) to pick us up & drop us off for an incredible fishing charter. Very nice to have that dock. Only issue we had was large industrial ice maker on the lower deck had died. They were responsive to get it fixed, but compressor was out and no way it would get fixed during our stay. Inside ice maker was a God send and kept us with enough ice for the week. What did we do? Our first answer is “NOTHING” and it was fabulous. In reality, we snorkeled off the beach, swam, made use of kayaks & paddle boards, looked for shells and sea life, explored the island, chartered a fishing boat, watched sunsets and sunrises, played games, drank some wine and rum drinks, cooked some amazing meals and RELAXED! In closing The Blue Marlin is a beautiful setting for a very relaxing and chill vacation. Highly recommend it and will be back!

We have stayed on the island a few times in the past years, in different properties. This is by far the best house we have stayed at on the island and we will rebook for next year. The owners were so gracious and very accommodating. They made sure that we had everything we needed, and helped immediately if an issue arose. Best Vacation in many years! Thanks, Jack

My family and I stayed here for a week. It was so relaxing, the location can't be beat. Spending evenings in the pool or on the balcony enjoying the sounds, it's exactly what we needed. Seashells galore, if you're into shelling. We had a great time exploring the island and the great burgers at Mango's. Cabbage Key is adorable, with more great burgers. The house was very clean, definitely met my high standards. The hosts were great, communication was exceptional, and we had the most delicious homemade cookies waiting for us. All in all, our family had a great time at Sea Urchins and your family will too.

The Coopers were like family friends guiding us all the way, including when we were nervous about a tropical depression. The house was clean, well supplied and gorgeous. The beach was perfect and just as advertised. Everything was amazing. Best vacation ever.

Coming from the mountains, I cannot express enough what a wonderful vacation home this was! Honestly, it has everything! Not everyone always wants to do the same thing and this house has so many options for everyone - the pool is fantastic and so close to the beach - the cool walkway to the private dock - outdoor shower - great furniture, inside and out - the convenience of a big ice machine - amazing hammocks, plus games and pool/beach toys galore. We enjoyed the SUPs and kayaks and also ended up swimming with manatees on the Gulf side. We caught (and released) lots of starfish, conchs, crabs, sea urchins, plus had many dolphin sightings. Sandy was fantastic, very hospitable and had great communication before and throughout the vacay! We had groceries delivered and rented a boat for a few days so all of the recommendations Sandy gave were top notch! We can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing week at Sea Urchins with our 3 kids, 2 grandmas and dogs. The house is stunning and the views are spectacular. It’s super clean and the beds are comfy. We loved watching all the wildlife and planes and helicopters at the airstrip next door. Kayaking and stand up paddle boarding with the dolphins was a favorite among our group. The island is super laid back and also very well upkept. The whole island feels like a luxurious resort. We loved that it was gold carts only. The owners are super helpful and did everything to make sure we had a luxurious, relaxing vacation. Thanks for sharing your home! We would definitely love to stay here again!

We had such a wonderful vacation at this home!! The location is absolutely ideal - close to everything, dolphins swimming just offshore, beautiful sunrise views, right on the kid-friendly beach! The house is beautiful inside and out - highlight is the wrap around porch overlooking the beach/pool, loved the pool and deck/game space, used the kayaks and paddle boards daily! Excellent overall set-up for an extended family with young kids!! Sandy and Charlie were wonderful hosts! All was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We can’t wait to vacation here again!

We couldn’t say better things about Sea Urchins. Sandy was an amazing host! She was so responsive with a few hiccups that we had. The property was amazing; I’m willing to bet the best on the island. The house was so well equipped! Toys for the kids, every paper product you could think of and plenty of spices and cooking products. We definitely could have brought much less with us than what we did. This is definitely a 5 star property!!!

Sea Urchins is absolutely wonderful. The house is decorated beautifully and everything is very comfortable, with all the amenities. You can’t beat the view from the deck where dolphins were seen daily. Sandy gave us all sorts of great details on everything needed for our stay. This property is absolutely stunning! Excellent location with beach and private dock access. We rented a boat for several days and were able to easily dock and access it. The house is beautifully decorated, well stocked with towels, beach towels, paper products, and everything you can imagine in a kitchen. We cooked meals everyday and had everything we needed. We were about a 2 min golf cart drive from a yummy local bar/restaurant and ice cream shop. The pool area was the favorite for my kids (ages 4&3). The adults loved the easy access to great fishing spots! The wrap around porch was fabulous to relax on day and night. North Captiva beaches are loaded with beautiful sea shells to collect as souvenirs. We found sand dollars, star fish, and a beautiful variety of shells. The owners were fantastic to work with and are just wonderful people. We explored the whole island and concluded that this was truly the best house on it! The location is just unmatched. Our family had a wonderful vacation at Sea Urchins and highly recommend choosing this property!

Everything was first class from original booking to checking out. Sandy was fantastic. We booked the trip so our kids wouldn’t miss trick or treating and Sandy had 2 pumpkins plus carving kits for our kids with candy. She even brought in special bikes for our kids to ride. The house was gorgeous. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The location on the island couldn’t be better. The house was very clean. Great layout. All the things you could want for the beach, pool, ping pong, etc were all provided. A+ experience and best experience we’ve had renting a house. Highly recommend Sea Urchins. It was great!

This is an outstanding property with all the amenities. The rental experience was awesome as we felt like we were renting from friends. We are grateful the Cooper's make their home available. We would highly recommend renting this property. It was a less expensive all inclusive. We were met by the Cooper's upon arrival, the family assisted us groceries and handled even the smallest issues (not many) throughout the week. Countless hours sitting on the deck enjoying the view. The best rental experience Ever and as a large family, not always easy. Cannot recommend any higher.

Sea Urchins is a wonderful property that has the perfect configuration for a large family. The property manager is great to work with and goes the extra mile for guests. My family made a lot of memories during this visit and we plan to come back to visit soon. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful Sea Urchins was our home for one week! Six adults and two children enjoyed our stay so much! First time on the island was so amazing! Biking, golf carting, swimming, beach shelling, enjoying the pool, enjoying our family!! Sandy & family were wonderful hosts and answered all our questions. Would love to come back again!! ❤️❤️
