The property was exactly as expected. We loved walking around the Turtle Bay area, and it was great to have beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow. The only complaint was the low ceiling in the upstairs bathroom (easy to crack your head in the dark). Overall a nice place!

We love the condo near Turtle Bay. Super clean and cozy. Our adult kids and grandson had a ball as well.The living area was spacious. Lots of well cared for beach chairs and toys. Washer and dryer super helpful.

Turtle Bay, cant say anything bad about the location. Centrally located on the North Shore. Gated and safe. Most of the descriptions are accurate. Two complaints. 1. The upstairs addition/bedroom/ bathroom/loft. Its super hot and uncomfortable. The portable AC provided doesnt not and will not cool the space. We had to reconnect the exhaust hoses and clean the fins. Its an older unit which doesnt exhaust the condensation. It blew out water along with "cool" not cold air My guests and I slept in our underwear. Owner, please upgrade the unit and add another one downstairs. Those two units can not keep the unit at a comfortable temperature. 2. Its infested with rodents. They ate our banana and bread left on the counter. We found a couple of traps in the closet. That was a warning sign. Two of my guests checked out after the mice incident. The remainder of us slept with one eye open. Also, the bathroom and bedroom upstairs have extremely low ceilings. Tall guests bewarned.

It felt like home. The condo was very nice and stocked. It was clean and tidy. Only downside is that there was not enough air conditioners and the electricity doesn’t support the current air conditioners. Breaker kept tripping. Otherwise the security was great, location fantastic.

Very clean and stocked well. No air conditioning but fans and window units help a lot. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. We loved our stay here!

This unit was exactly what we were looking for. The condo had exactly the space we were looking for for our large family of 6. The location was perfect. An easy 10 minute walk to the beach. I was a little concerned that this unit was taken off vrbo shortly after the reservation was made but evreything was fine. The only slight problem was the gate access code did not work on check in but was resolved in under a minute at the gate. Other than that our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay there again. It was a hidden gem

My family decided to staycation in Kuilima for the Fourth of July holiday. I was happy to find this unit, but I was truly underwhelmed by our stay there. The location was perfect, but we had a lot of challenges. First of all, the check-in instructions provided to us were totally incorrect. We were not provided a key FOB for the front door or to enter/exit the gate. Whenever we left the property, security informed us that we needed to bring our FOB with us. We told them over and over that we were not provided with a FOB upon check-in. It was exasperating to have to explain this to them, even though we were supposedly on a list of units that do not have FOBs. The main disappointment for us was the fact that our TV remote control was broken. When I inquired with the property manager at check-in about the fact that the remote had been smashed, she told me that the property owners had ordered a new one that would be delivered in 3 days. (We were there for four days and never received any remote). The TV was stuck on a children's station and we were not able to manually change the channels. There was only one TV in the unit. When I told the property manager that I was disappointed, she told me that she was a single mother who worked multiple jobs and could not pick up a remote at Spectrum. (This was the easiest fix and something I had done myself the week before). She then offered to provide me a free haircut in Hauula the next day. It was an odd offer that did not make up for the fact that the TV remote was broken. The condo was not especially well-appointed. There were no wine glasses in the unit, and none of the pots and pans had lids. This made it challenging to cook certain dishes. People had left half-eaten food in the cabinets, which had not been cleaned out prior to our stay. The beds in both bedrooms were quite small (double beds) and didn't comfortably sleep two adults. They were also of poor quality. It seems as if the owners placed their castoff appliances, kitchen utensils, beds, towels, etc., in the unit. Even the brooms were old and made it difficult to sweep and tidy up. The upsides to the unit are the location, which is close to a pool and allowed us a nice view of the July 3rd fireworks. The washer and dryer worked great, and the WiFi connection was good. The kitchen is a nice size and there is ample seating. We made the best of our stay, but I would not stay in this unit again, and I wouldn't recommend it to friends.

Great location on the North Shore and nice option for larger families. Having a full kitchen and two bathrooms was convenient. Got a little warm in the afternoons since there is no ac but still manageable. Emailed check in instructions do need updated though because they didn't work and we needed to contact property manager to clarify.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect and close to everything that we wanted to do. The kids used all of the pools when we weren’t at the beach. Running/walking trails right from the resort area. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay! This condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the necessities to grill our steak, cut up our pineapples and also throw some goodies for our on the go adventures. The only downside was that the TV remote sensor was broken and there was no way to change the channel when we were ready to unwind from our all day outings. I mentioned this the property manager and they responded within a timely manner. Although they did not have a spare remote, it was ok… we just played a little Hawaiian music as a replacement. The condo was clean, but could have been a little cleaner in the corners of the bathroom. Other than that the our stay was awesome!

Great location and quite but had some issues. Not well maintained with some simple and more complex issues. Does not have central AC so upstairs hot and small AC unit loud and unable to keep loft cool. Washer was moldy but they did replace when we were there. Not enough washcloths for our party and no smoke detectors. Requested they be put back up fot safety and manager said she would but didn't. Difficult to reach manager and then she hung up on me and would only text. Dressers were broken...missing hardware in kitchen...simple things that should be fixed between renters. Codes were wrong to pool.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the location for spending time up on the north shore. Lots of great beaches close by.

We were happy to call this place home for the time we spent on Oahu. It was clean, the pictures are accurate and the amenities were ample. I will stay here again should I get another vacation to Hawaii.

The condo was exactly what we needed as far as space. The location was beautiful. We snorkled at the cove and walked along the beaches nearby. We would have liked an explanation on how to operate the TV, and the cooking utinsels needed to be cleaned before we could use some of them. There were no parking passes on the table, but the security guard allowed us to enter, anyway.

Our group of 5 liked our stay at the Kahuku property. It was quiet and accommodated us well. We loved being able to take walks around the property and having easy access to the pool. (The other half of our group was in another condo in the West group and the pool was between us.) The view from the upstairs was great. What a joy is was to be on the north shore out of the hustle bustle.

My only real complaint is that we tried to redeem our PROMISED daily $100 activity credit with the outpost and were told that this credit is not being honored. It was repeatedly advertised. You need to do something to make that situation right. We contacted the condo owner and she said that this promise was made to us by whomever we booked through. Nobody is answering this question for us and we have been largely ignored.

This was supposed to be an amazing rental for my husband’s 40th birthday with our 1.5 year old daughter in tow. About a month before our trip, I tried to look at the posting’s online photos and found “property has been delisted by owner” and could not access any photos or reviews. This made me super worried, so I emailed the property manager, who assured me the reservation was confirmed. I also asked if there was a Pack and Play available for our daughter - the response was “no, not available at this property.” So we rented a pack and play and bought a foldable high chair based on this reply, an extra expense. We arrived to the property and checking in was (thankfully!) a breeze. However, inside, we found a super mildewy smelling washer, no stopper in the tub for giving our kid a bath, dirty cabinets with handles falling off in the kitchen, dangerous wires on the staircase that are a serious trip hazards, and worst of all, a fire alarm with the batteries clearly taken out of it, and no backup in sight. I could not find a carbon monoxide detector on the first floor, so we made sure to leave all the windows open the whole time we were there. Lastly, there were blood stains on the towels and per the condo instruction sheet “only enough supplies for 2 nights” included with the property — this seems like a miss when most renters are staying 4+ nights. Disappointed in our stay to say the least.

Condo is well situated for a great vacation. It’s good for people who want to be away from the busy spots around Honolulu but everything is drive able. Easy to check in and out, lots to do on the north shore and close beach access. Might be worth noting that you cannot use the resort pools but that’s not much of a loss.

Our son decided to get married on the beach of Oahu. The search began. From searching for properties to driving away from it....pleasant experience!!! Description was correct!! Loved the location as great dining, nightlife, beach, Turtle Bay amenities, literally a beautiful walk away. There were 4 adults in our party and the private bedroom/bath upstairs, was perfect for our daughter and fiancee. The mobile AC unit, upstairs, was really appreciated!! I recommend this condo and if are lucky enough to go back to Hawaii, I wont hesitate to see if this place is available! Thank you for helping to create timeless , family memories!

As guests, we would expect at least hotel level cleanliness. The home was at best "surface clean". Grime was caked on doors, light switches, dirt and dust on fans, behind beds, closets, hangers, washer/dryer area. Carpet dirty. Will not stay at this particular home again. Contact for home was very quick to reply to our inquiries etc., which we were very grateful for.
