We had such a lovely stay! Every morning, we had coffee and read on the beautiful, breezy screened-in patio overlooking Coral Bay before heading out to explore the island. It was so relaxing. Our one week vacation felt much longer, in all of the best ways. Hosts were so very responsive and warm. Such a special place to stay!

Property overlooks beautiful Coral Bay which is quieter side of St. John but still close enough for access to all beaches and Cruz Bay for restaurants and shopping.

We loved our stay at Little Palm! Gorgeous view from the veranda overlooking Coral Bay! The two bedrooms are comfortable and private from each other. It's great that they each have their own bathroom. St. John is not a very accessible place in general, but this house was perfect for my sister who has bad knees- no stairs at all from the driveway and everything she needed was on the upper level! The kitchen is well appointed and the hosts, Rik and Ann, were very thoughtful, kind, and responsive throughout our stay. Small touches, like repairing the beach chairs and providing a brush to keep sand out of the Jeep made a big impact and show how considerate and hospitable they are! I highly recommend this house, the only things I would keep in mind are: the house is positioned above a curve on route 10 so you may hear honking/cars occasionally (most of the time it was very peaceful though), noseeums are not completely thwarted by the screens so I definitely recommend bringing bug spray, and the lower bedroom has beautiful windows with heavy curtains, but light still comes in the door, so I was glad to have my sleeping eye mask with me. The magnificent views, convenient access to town/beaches, uv water filter, and comfort of the home made this a great choice for us! Thank you Rik and Ann for a wonderful stay!

Our party of three adults loved the location and experience of renting a house on St. John in January, 2023. The house was clean and comfortable and contained everything needed for our visit. The appliances are up to date; the water was excellent; the wifi worked well. Mill Vista Road is paved up the hill from Highway 10.

Little Palm is very roomy with 2 levels and separate bedrooms. The upper screened deck is wonderful with a great view. Very relaxing. Location is convenient to everything on the island. If you like to snorkel Little Palm is central. 20 minutes max to the best locations. Don't miss the Windmill Bar when you visit St John. One of the best views anywhere. Highly recommend Little Palm if you appreciate a great value.

We could not have been happier with our decision to stay here. Our hosts were very responsive. It is a beautiful location, great house with wonderful views of Coral Bay. Fully equipped with everything you need. You won't be disappointed if you choose this property

The thing we loved about this place is that it's completely open air, with screens on the upper patio and windows and doors. This allowed us to be protected from mosquitos but be outside all the time! We did get a few noseeum bites while on the upper patio the first couple of evenings, but that seemed to stop happening after that. The noise from surrounding houses, traffic and Coral Bay was disruptive a few times, but overall tolerable for the tradeoff of feeling connected to nature. There were iguanas in the trees at eye level next to the patio that we saw nearly every day eating tree berries. Very cool. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy the island. (kitchen well stocked; towels, beach, and snorkeling gear, etc.) The temperature was pretty nice in the house since it would cool down nicely after sunset thanks to the openness to the outdoors. The house and furnishings are all operable and in good condition. Plenty of space and room to store your things. The fridge worked perfectly, which we have not always experienced on St. John, so that was appreciated! Rik and Ann were wonderfully kind, considerate, and accommodating. We felt at home and really enjoyed the feeling of being outdoors the whole time. Just the tropical time we wanted to have.

Three of us spent a week here in November 2022. The villa is in a great location for accessibility to Coral Bay and the North shore beaches. It has everything we needed: Coolers, beach gear, beach towels, full kitchen, lines to dry clothes and towels , and much more. I didn’t read the listing close enough and discovered that the downstairs bedroom isn’t air conditioned, but the screened windows and ceiling fans kept us plenty cool at night. We got to meet Rik and Ann, and they are super nice and funny! Overall a great stay on St. John!

We were a little intimidated finding the property after traveling from Pennsylvania. The directions given to us we’re easy to from the car ferry to the front door. Amazing property, easy to park the Jeep right near the door. The house was very welcoming, clean and well furnished. My wife and I took the main floor and our teenage son had the lower level. We learned the first night to follow the trash rules or the ants will find your left overs and doughnuts. We loved the easy drive to the beaches and then the easy drive back to the house to rest. Great location between so many beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. We would certain stay here again while on St. John.

We had a great stay at Ann and Rik’s villa. Nice location, easy access to all the beautiful beaches, yet away from crowds of visitors. It is close to a few restaurants, a bar and a supermarket. A large screened porch with great view of coral bay. Highly recommended!

I quickly felt right at home at Little Palm. The house had everything we needed and we all had a wonderful time. The location was ideal for visiting all the beaches, both south and north shore. We spent our days snorkeling sites around the island and in the evening we would either drive into town for dinner or enjoy dining on the screened-in porch.

Little Palm was so perfect! The highlights were the open floor plan out to the porch, two comfortable bedrooms both accessed from inside the house, beautiful shower, and a nicely equipped kitchen...oh, and a wide driveway with very little incline. The wrap around porch on the main floor was heaven. Because it was screened in, we could be out there all afternoon or evening without being eaten alive by no-see'ums or mosquitos. The breeze out there was so nice - a perfect end to each day - gazing out over Coral Bay. The hosts were incredibly accessible and responsive. We could not have asked for better. One heads up - we had T-Mobile and the cell service was spotty - but we learned quickly that for that provider, this is the case all over the island. Let you people know they may not be able to reach you! We look forward to returning! Thank you Rik and Ann!!

Everything about this home suited us well: the enormous screened-in porch with consistent breezes coming in off Coral harbor, the many amenities provided by hosts Rik and Ann, and the spaciousness of the home.

Thank you Ann and Rik for the use of your lovely home. Everything was impeccable. Waking every morning or returning every day, any time of day, to the cooling ocean breezes blowing gently through the house was amazing. We slept most nights without the A/C. What a treat. Close to several great beaches, hikes and ruins, it’s an ideal location if you wish to be out of the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay

Little Palm was a great place to escape and relax. We loved the screened in porch. It was great for meals and just being together and playing games. Rik and Ann were great hosts and when we ran out of laundry detergent, they quickly supplied us with more. We are yearly visitors to St. John and we always stay on the Coral Bay side because of the laid back vibes that we get on the quieter side of St John. My group (two mid 30s couples) loved Little Palm. The location was perfect to get to the beaches and down into Coral Bay. The view was absolutely amazing, the photos do not do it justice! The kitchen was well stocked, and we easily cooked many breakfasts and I dinners. Beach gear (chairs, coolers, umbrellas) and snorkels were provided. The driveway/road to the house were easy to navigate. Rick and Ann were always very responsive and helpful when I asked for recommendations and travel tips. I would love to stay at Little Palm again!

My husband, 10 year old daughter and I had a fantastic stay at Rik & Ann's house. My family has been coming to St John for over 30 years so we know the island well; we always stayed at Maho Bay Campground (before it closed a few years ago). We felt that this house would appeal to folks who once enjoyed Maho Bay. It has the same pleasant. relaxed, & unpretentious vibe. We also loved how convenient the house was to Coral Bay; it took mere moments to go into town for groceries or to eat at a restaurant. Ann & Rik were helpful and quick to respond to every question we had. We also felt their house was excellent value for money. We highly recommend!

My husband Dave and I had a fantastic stay with Rik and Ann. They made our stay welcoming and most relaxing!!! The location was amazing with direct views of coral bay ! As this was our first visit to St. John we were in for a surprise as the roads were very tricky but rik and Ann’s house had very easy access and parking Everything you could need for a vacation to St. John’s was at the house. Snorkels masks and floats and fins. Full kitchen-2 full showers /bathrooms with plenty of towels for bathing and beach Don’t over pack as they have washer dryer. We can’t say enough great things !!! Thank you RIK AND ANN!!!

We loved staying at this unique property. The open air design was a real treat and the porch is amazing. The house receives a great breeze at all times so it never feels hot inside. The orchid shower is wonderful because you feel like it is an outdoor shower but don't have to worry about bugs like you might if you were outdoors. Our kids stayed in the king bed on the main floor. They loved that there room had ac. My husband and I loved sleeping in the spacious downstairs room. It too is somewhat open air design and we enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the nature sounds that surround the house. The road getting to the house was recently paved and the driveway is spacious and easy to navigate. The beach chairs and snorkel gear were a nice bonus. All 4 of us were able to find fins and masks that fit us. We loved staying at the Little Palm!

Location and view from property is fabulous! Overlooking Coral Bay everything is close by from restaurant choices to groceries. A bit quieter than Cruz Bay but close to beaches and hiking, etc. We loved it and already booked to return next year.

This is a comfortable, well appointed home with 2 equal master bedrooms. The wrap around verandas offer exceptional views whether accessed from the open living room, the lower bedroom or the veranda's themselves. Easy access to house and numerous beautiful beaches on North and Eastern shores.

Awesome accommodation for 2 couples. Enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch of the main level. Great views were enjoyed for breakfast and in the evening. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. Access to the house is very easy with the paved road leading up to the driveway. The location is great as you are fairly close to the beaches on the north side of St John, and very close to Coral Bay. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Hope to stay here in the future!!

Little Palm is the perfect quiet get away in beautiful St. John. Coral Bay is very close by and the both Rik and Ann were very responsive and helpful.

My friends and I loved our stay in Coral Bay. That VIEW! We loved spending time on the screened in porch every evening, and enjoying our breakfasts at the dining table on the porch as well. The filtered water was so great! After staying at a couple other VRBOs previously on the island, I can say this one was easily my favorite. The drive back and forth from Cruz Bay isn't my favorite, but I do love the Coral Bay side of St John, so in my opinion it's worth it. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our fish we caught on our fishing excursion! Fans helped keep the place cool, and we enjoyed that there was shampoo/etc to use in the bathrooms. The only thing that would have been nicer would have been some larger beach towels, but that's minor and really the only thing I can think of! Communication prior to our arrival was great and very helpful. Thanks to Ann and Rik for a great stay! Would love to rent there again in the near future :)
