We had a great trip to Borrego Springs and enjoyed the view and location. This rental has a lot of potential, but hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was weird goo on the bedside table, crumbs in the microwave, then patio hadn’t been swept and the outside table was covered in bird poop, but the worst was the master bathroom. The toilet had cockroaches in it and what looked like smears of poop. And smelled horrible. We flushed the toilet and closed the door and then used the second bathroom the whole time. The smell didn’t dissipate the whole time we were there and since the bathroom was carpeted may be something that requires new flooring. The place in general was stained and dingy, but with a little work could be great. We enjoyed the view, pool, and walking to the restaurant on the golf path.

The property was nice and quiet. There are a few things you should plan ahead for. Get the access codes early, it can be difficult to get them. If you're planning to work from there, know the internet in the area is not great so bring a hot spot or take some time off. Monique took care of us.

We enjoyed our stay in Borrego Springs at this 2 BR / 2 Bath unit. It was close to the pool area, which was nearly always empty. The unit was clean and quiet, and had a lovely view on the back patio to enjoy breakfast in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. Lots to do in Borrego Springs - we enjoyed viewing the spring wildflowers, discovering the sculptures scattered around the valley, and hiking the slot canyon. We ate at the Rams Horn Burger and Shakes near the park, and a nice dinner at Red Ocotillo. We also enjoyed our own cooking several evenings at the unit, which had everything we needed to make a fine meal. Definitely hope to return again.

We have stayed in numerous condos in the Rams Hill complex. This place was adequate but needs some care and updates. The sliding glass door in living room was almost impossible for me to open. It could be easily fixed. There were NO towel racks in the main bathroom. Another easy fix. Most of the door frames throughout the condo were marred and in major need of some cleaning and paint. Generally the condo has not had the care it needs to be a rental I would want to return to. It’s too bad as the location is excellent and the potential is all there.

Spacious home. While it needs some updating, it is quiet and outfitted with most everything that you would need. The owner is very responsive.

The home was very quiet, large and clean. The parking is extremely convenient and everything worked well in the house. There is plenty of room to spread out as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this home again when we return. The owner is also very prompt in replying to any questions and very considerate.

The house was exactly as advertised and worked out extremely well for the two of us. Each room is very large and the living room/dining room is enormous. We didn't have time for pool, but a great table was in the middle of the great room. The sunrise view is awesome from the back deck and the owner was fantastic in her communication for questions.

Second time enjoying this property. It's clean, comfortable, and the owner is responsive and kind. We'll be back.

The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay....especially the pool table. The interior could use some refreshing as the unit is showing its age. The view was amazing and we were able to sit out in the early morning and then again in the evening when it cooled off. Having the box fans helped in keeping the inside comfortable when it was 100 outside!! Monique was very easy to work with. We'll be back when the weather cools off.

Our stay was very nice. We really enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the mornings when it was cool. The house was as shown in the listing and we had a relaxing getaway. It was fun watching birds, bunnies, squirrels, 2 ducks and an occasional person on the golfcourse.

We had a fine time relaxing in this property. Had fun with the pool table. But mostly we enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the birds, desert, and golfers. The Rams Hill restaurant is excellent. Only downside is the sofa, which is uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. My son really enjoyed playing pool and darts. I was able to cook a Thanksgiving dinner in the wonderful kitchen and really loved the view from the patio! The house was spacious and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable as well. Thank you for being such great host!

A relaxed place to reset

Borrego is such a magical place . The house was situated perfectly to view the valley and surrounding mountains as well as the golf course. So enjoyed having coffee or wine on the patio and watching the birds and other wildlife.

Borrego Springs is a gem/ this unit is not. The property is for sale and the neglect shows/ stained carpets, poor window coverings, dirty deck furniture, unkempt garden space. We would have preferred a kettle for boiling water and a tea pot rather than three TV’s. As well the pool/rec centre had been closed since September and still unfinished in January. We were not informed about this until our stay began. Our whole experience of this Vrbo was rather sad.

We had a great time at a great place at Rams Hill. Amazing golf and a great place to stay and unwind and play some pool. I highly recommend this place.

Great location and beautiful views. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfy. The master suite has a soaking tub (so relaxing). The kitchen is well stocked and the coffee was appreciated. Check in was so easy. Would love to go back again.

We have stayed at this property before and enjoy the location. We particularly like the birds that are plentiful just outside on the patio. The pool table is great. The house is fairly basic but highly functional. We realized that one thing we liked about was that we did not feel we were living in someone's house. Sometimes one can feel like an invader when lots of personal items are around. There is no wifi and I used my phone as a hotspot. This was inadequate some of the time, so if this is important you will be disappointed. Don't plan on doing important work with access to the internet, as the access is intermittent. The common pool area is excellent with a mid temperature lap pool, cozy hot jacuzzi, and a cooler larger pool to send the kids, tennis court and pickle ball courts. There are also easy to use gas grills, and we used these for a couple of our meals. This was a 3 minute walk from the house. The golf course is outstanding, and one of our favorites in the world. It is in excellent condition, greens were 11 on the stimpmeter. The view of the mountains throughout play is addictive. The wind can be viscious some days, but only rarely does this make the course unplayable. Usually it is calm, but the course will still eat you up. Every hole is different. Recommend cocktails at the Coyote Steak House. A hike in the "Slot". We would stay here again, no question.

Location great, neighbors friendly, and the pool table was awesome! Also has AC (even though it was not listed on the ad), and pretty well appointed kitchen with ICE-MAKER. After a slightly rocky start (the owner did not know we were coming and no keys were available for an hour), our stay was excellent.

This was our third (fourth?) stay in this property, so clearly we like it. Pluses: comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, very clean, stunning views over the golf course to the mountains and Fonts Point. Minuses: some aspects could use maintenance (some lights and outlets that do not work) and the kitchen (while fully functional) is not very well organized so things are hard to find. It is very easy to relax, watching birds, bunnies and coyotes is interesting, the sunrises and sunsets are often stunning. The community grills a short walk up the street are clean, as are the Jacuzzi and pool. Overall, we would certainly go back.

This vacation home in Ram’s Hill was perfect for a girls’ getaway! The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and well-stocked, with everything we needed to relax in the desert. The beds in particular were very comfortable and the host was responsive and great. The view from the patio is lovely. Highly recommended—we’ll be back!

Stunning views of the golf course. The night sky is electrifying. Rams Hill is a must play. The town and plenty of options for our two day stay.

House is spacious and have amenities as described. We saw a couple herds of big horn sheep at Palm Canyon parking lot and a rack rabbit with lot of birds in the patio. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Visit Galleta meadow and Slot canyon and Anza Borrego state park. The pool table was a plus to enjoy with my boy. I hold back a star because there is no wifi, cable channel is minimum and there is dead giant cock roach in the closet. Would consider it again if there no better deal.

House clean and spacious. Wish linens not so heavily perfumed (fabric softener). Nice location. Loved the sculptures and many interesting shops and restaurants. Brought grandsons (8 years old). They had a good time. The pool table was a hit and the many birds and rabbits outside.

The house and property was perfect for the four of us. We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and comfortable and the pictures and description of the house were accurate. We have no complaints, though it would have been nicer if the backyard foliage was trimmed a bit. All in all, a very nice weekend.

Gorgeous views, spacious, and pool table an added bonus. A lot of bird activity outside for bird lovers. Quiet and peaceful, great getaway!
