The home was nicely renovated and is set up with an open plan and plenty of space. It was well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed for our family vacation. The house was very clean and ready for us on arrival. The location is great with easy access to the lake and dock. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit right at the waters edge. We also all had fun in the very nice game room in the basement, especially our family ping pong tournament! Many of the homes around the lake have steep inclines, but this location is very convenient and easy to access the waterfront with just a few steps. Communication with Katrina was superb. Parking for two cars in the garage and driveway was no problem.

Second year in a row staying. You can't beat the lake access, the closeness of downtown Canandaigua, the layout of the house and many other things. The owner is very quick to respond or just to check-in with you.

The weather was perfect which we didn't expect as I grew up in that area of NY. There were so many extra perks that we didn't expect to find. The instructions were clear for the check-out procedure as well as the check-in procedure. The house was beautiful and clean and the kitchen well-stocked. It is situated at a beautiful part of a beautiful Finger Lake. Thank you for everything.

We traveled from Wyoming across the country to celebrate our niece’s graduation with a week at the lake. To say we are now Lakaholics would be an understatement. Beautiful house, lovely location, and so much fun both inside and out. The game room was a hit during the rainy days. I know this might seem odd, but the bathrooms were perfect. Great toilets and fans for sharing space with 8 adults!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Enjoyed the large deck looking over the water and the glass window views of the lake when inside. Well stocked kitchen and nice/comfortable furniture. Very clean and up to date. Kayaks and other equipment available to enjoy being on the lake.

My husband and I stayed here three nights - would have loved to have stayed longer! The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It has all the amenities one could ask for. The retractable awning was great to have when we were blessed with a hot, sunny, September day, as it helped keep both the deck and the house at a comfortable temperature. The only question we had was how to work the thermostat to turn the a/c off (it was a model "too advanced" for us, LoL!) and it was answered promptly, complete with a video to demonstrate! We could not have asked for more from this rental or host. Definitely recommend!

We loved this property. It was very clean, and we had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. The location is amazing. No need to walk across the street to get down to the lake - you are right there! There is a nice dock and a cool swimming dock with a ladder. The kids loved it. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is spacious with lots of windows in the living room to enjoy the view. We especially enjoyed the large deck overlooking the lake. We appreciated having beach towels and soaps and shampoos provided which not everybody does. Overall, a lovely experience

This was a beautiful and extremely clean house that was even nicer than it seemed in the photos, and the lakefront area was incredible. We had so much fun swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. We even found a trilobite fossil right near the dock!

This property was even more beautiful in person than it looks in the listing. The house itself is perfection: gorgeous open living/dining room with views for days, super comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and laundry, and all the little touches that make a rental home extra special (soap, detergent, shampoo, spices, clean linens, etc). Our family loved lounging lakeside, swimming in the lake, jumping of the swim dock, taking meals overlooking the lake, fishing against stunning pink skies at night, and roasting marshmallows at sunset. We had so many off site plans, but honestly loved the house so much we rarely left. Highly recommend this gem!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house. Kids enjoyed the basement game room, kayaks, and swimming platform; adults enjoyed the cleanliness, appliances, well-stocked kitchen, central A/C, private lake front, and fire pit; grandparents enjoyed either sitting on the back deck with grill and awning or in the living room and watching everyone play, and proximity to town for Wegmans or restaurants. We didn't even have time to finish our traditional jigsaw puzzle, because we were having so much fun with everything else.

The house was just as depicted in the photos. Plenty of space, great deck with retractable awning, terrific lakefront backyard. Being directly on the lake was the best part. Kayaking, swimming and fishing were enjoyed by all. Katrina was responsive to any/all questions. Thanks for a great week with the family.

We had such a great experience at this property on the lake over the week. It was relaxing, but so many things to do at the property. Kayaking in the morning, swimming in the afternoon, and going to eat at the north end of the lake. The house is just the perfect size and the renovations are beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

I liked the beauty and waves and calmness of the lake, seeing the sun rise in the morning, sound of the the waves hitting the rocks on the shore and the sound of the birds in the morning, the beautiful oak tree in the backyard. Enjoyed kayaking and the well organized interior, retractable awning on the deck, coffee maker, spacious refridgerator, and big window with lake view. Overall a very positive experience and look forward to coming back again.

This beautiful house on Canandaigua Lake was a perfect place for exploring the Finger Lakes. The house was well equipped, with fabulous views of the lake, including breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. There were plenty of towels and the showers were heavenly- great water pressure. The water heated immediately and a fan cleared the fog on the mirror very quickly. There was enough room in the bathrooms for all of our toiletries. The bedroom upstairs had a view of the lake that was amazing. There was a large screen TV in the living room and another one downstairs in the basement. The washer/dryer was on the first floor and easy to operate, as was the dishwasher. The TV remote in the living room was a little quirky but Katrina and John were extremely responsive and helpful. There was a great deal of material about the area in the house so planning activities was easy. We enjoyed hiking and wine tasting, both relatively close to the house, and there were a number of restaurants in the town of Canandaigua, which was about an10 minute drive from the house. In all, it was a memorable stay, and our hosts were great.

This place is great for families. It even has toys for the kids! The view is amazing. The neighbors are nice. The owner is super helpful if you need anything. The house comes stocked with everything you would need (minus food). Our family would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful week on the lake. The accommodations were very nice and as advertised. The house was well equipped. The family made good use of the kayaks and paddle board. We had a fun day on the water in a rented pontoon boat!
