Our stay was great, the game room was fun for the family. It was very easy to check in and the host and owner were very nice. The house was very cozy and the neighborhood was very quiet and private. The master bed was very comfortable and it was amazing seeing the Mountain View while laying down. We would recommend staying here.

Peaceful setting with stunning views. Easy access. Owners were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the cabin and was stocked with everything we needed. One thing to note is the ping pong table is on rough shape..you can still play but its got dome road rash on the surface. Popl table and Fooseball were in great condition . Would stay here again and would recommend.

Very clean. The view was beautiful. The host provided everything for an enjoyable stay. The only negative was that it was farther to Asheville then I thought it would be. About 50 minutes to get there.

Between the beautiful views on the deck and the games downstairs this place was a big hit. We really enjoyed going to the club at the lake to play putt putt golf and swimming.

Stardust at Rumbling Bald is a wonderful home away from home. This was our families 3rd time staying here and the house was great as always. Every amenity you could ask for along with access to Rumbling Bald Resort. We will be back!

This is a wonderful family home. We appreciated the addition of porch fans and new porch furniture.

This property at lake Lure is perfect. The view of the mountains from the long porch is so beautiful, the entire lower level room has footsball, pool, ping-pong and other games with a full bathroom, TV, sectional couch for all our family fun. The comfortable spacious bedrooms, large dining space, kitchen a dining room & living room upstairs it's amazing. Lake Lure Rumbling Bald resort has the beach, swimming pool, tennis and anything else you could possibly want. We enjoyed horseback riding near by and tubing on the lake, it's the perfect family vacation for everyone. This is our third year here and we will be back.

Our family stayed at Stardust" cabin for 3 nights in January 2023. We enjoyed the large, open lounge area, and also the large games room on the lower level.

The house had lots of comfortable couches and chairs which was great for relaxing after a stressful and busy December. It was great for spending time with our granddaughters. The kitchen was well supplied and offered some things other rentals hadn’t such as pancake mix, etc. The view of the mountains is lovely with a side of the house having sliding glass doors and big windows. There is a beautiful book of Norman Rockwell’s paintings which I enjoyed. We did misunderstand the usefulness of the game room. The girls had planned to stay down there but it was too cold. We did enjoy our stay and the hostess was helpful and quick to respond to our questions.

Nina, was always available for help. We all had a blast. We would definitely stay here again. The location was convenient to lots of fun activities. The whole family loved the game room.

Such a fun time at Stardust. We were five widows from a church community group ranging in age from 74-87 looking for a time to enjoy the mountains and get to know each other. The house was perfect for us. Rumbling Bald is a lovely resort. We played pickle ball and took the boat tour offered by the resort. Highly recommend this tour as Captain Al was so informative about everything and we loved seeing all of the homes on the lake. There were so many things to do that were an easy drive from the house. Easy access to the house with no steep steps. We all would love to come back with our family to take full advantage of the wonderful downstairs of the house. Pool table, foose ball, ping pong table and tv area. We loved the huge screened in porch and spent many hours there playing cards and talking. Thank you Nina for a great week. So happy we stayed a full week.

Have rented this property more than once, it is located near three great courses and the lake. Quiet and scenic.

This property is very well maintained and equipped for guests. The game room is awesome, my husband and adult sons were very excited about the pool table and the record player and our toddler grandsons enjoyed playing there as well. We will definitely return!

The kids LOVED the ping pong, pool and fooseball. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Beds were very comfy. Super close to Rumbling Bald Resort entrance. Furnishings / decor could use a little refresh, but overall a very clean and comfortable home. We had a great time at this home and the views are AMAZING.

Our family has stayed at Stardust, several times. We love the spaciousness of the home for our family. It's nestled on the side of a mountain, with breathtaking views! The kids love the basement, it's like a whole house in itself, with plenty of games and sleeping quarters, to get away from the parents without even leaving the house. The Rumbling Bald Resort is a favorite, with indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf and more. There are so many new things to explore, we find something new, every trip! This time, we visited Lookimg Glass Falls, it was well worth the drive from Lake Lure. Can't wait to come back! Thanks, to Nina, for another wonderful family vacation in the beautiful mountains!

This was our third trip to Rumbling Bald Resort and we needed a little more room for our family to spread out in than the condos. This house was great! The downstairs recreation room also has two twin beds so my two tween boys didn’t want to leave. The house is not in the main resort area but is only a half-mile drive. The owner and housekeeper were very responsive. We would definitely rent this house again.

We loved our stay at the Stardust. The downstairs game room was a hit, and we loved relaxing on the porch. The access to Rumbling Bald Resort gave us many activities that were free or low cost to us. Thank you for such great memories!

While this home isn’t the fanciest, it was perfect for my family: good sleeping arrangements and house layout. Everyone had the privacy they wanted. The game room was a hit. This was our second stay here.

Nina answered emails fast, great to work with. Lots of sleeping areas , nobody had to disturb anyone else.

Four ladies came to Lake Lure to play in a golf tournament at the two courses there Apple Valley and Rumbling Bald. The house was perfect for us. Convenient location and a fun place to relax in the evenings. We played pool, ping pong, games and relaxed in front of the fire place The beds were really comfortable. We had a great time and loved the house

We love to stay at the Stardust. It's layout is so perfect for all ages. The basement is cozy. Owner continues to update the house and has been responsive on multiple questions. Highly recommend!

Joined up with family who were staying in a Fox Run Condo timeshare at Rumbling Bald. This house provided all the same resort amenities, so we were able do things together. The downstairs Game room was such a hit! We ranged in ages from 3 to 90 …. We had some watching a movie, some playing Pool, ping pong and foos ball all at the same time :) Every night everyone wanted to be in the Cool House. It was a hit.

overall nice, but downstairs had a stale oder. Poor lighting.

Huge place, plenty of room, good quiet location, will be renting again.

The Stardust was perfect for our trip. It was comfortable and roomy. The view from the back porch was breathtaking. Some may consider the furnishings to be a bit shabby and outdated, but that didn't matter to us. We had everything we needed. It was located close to the resort, which was very nice by the way. The property manager was helpful also. We would definitely go back.
