The location and the view was exceptional. The room is big, clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our vacation there and would love to come again.

There is a construction area right next to the hotel (I think it’s the hotel adding rooms) and it was noisy. All the extra services were quit expensive, and the truth is that it feels that the hotel charging for thing they should have provide (dishwasher tables, we got less than the days we stayed and they charged for extras).

A beautiful view over the range of mountains in front and the valley 2 hundred meters below. Relatively close to a city (Braga - 45 min) as well as to the reservation (30-90 min, depending on which part) In nature: quiet and relaxing. Spacious rooms. A very good in-house restaurant for dinner.

Staff ignorance regarding the tracking options in the reservation - could at least offer maps and direct you to good links for track selection. No daily cleaning.

The people were amazing. The rooms were amazing too.

There could be more of a menu choice for food.

Everything was perfect, from the place itself to the workers. Waking up in the morning with that view and then all the facilities makes you feel amazing. As a couple with a baby of 7 months, everyone helped from breakfast to dinner. To any request, I always had a quick reply from the place. The indoor pool is amazing to go with small baby/kids. Breakfast. From sweet to salty things, from eggs on request or just vegetables, there is for every taste. Same room, but as a restaurant, one of the best octopus I ate in my life. Every time I went there the food was marvelous. To come back for sure.

The hotel has a nice view over the river, beautiful infinity swimming pool and also an indoor pool, which our kid enjoyed very much. The rooms are clean and quite new.

We really enjoyed the beauty of this property and the incredible restaurant. It was a small house and was so comfortable! We enjoyed having places to sit and relax inside and outside. Given that there is not much nearby (not to walk to) it was helpful to have breakfast is included and you can eat in the restaurant in the evenings. The food was excellent and we ate there both nights of our stay. Wish it has been warmer because the outdoor infinity pool is incredible, and the spaces are thoughtfully designed and decorated. The staff was exceptional.

We found accessing some of the spa ammenties to be confusing, wished it was possible to borrow, or make available shower caps for guests. We would have liked to use the indoor pool/jacuzzi but did not have shower caps and so were unable to.

We had a lovely stay! Lovely staff at the restaurant, Sílvia always gave us excellent advice. The views are mesmerising and the food is very good, both at breakfast and breakfast!

We stayed as a family of 4 during our winter vacation. If I had to name everything we loved I would never finish my review. Everything was excepcional, from the setting, the views, the grounds, the faciliities, the staff, the food,the beds. Absolutely stunning place!! We will try to come back again at least once a year.

We had a very short stay, however during this time we had experienced some services. First of all, the house was immaculate clean. It really has everything you might need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The attention to details is amazing: even cutlery and other kitchen supplies drawer were strategically placed to look perfect. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes, the portions are rather big and the price is very reasonable. But the most important - everything we tried was delicious and the service was great! We asked to deliver breakfast to our room which was very convenient and it was also delicious. The spa was quite good, including hammam, sauna and a very relaxing massage. They require to use swimming hats and slippers, however it’s possible to get it at the reception in case you don’t have any. And the most important: the staff were very sweet. They contacted me after my booking was made to ask if we would like to come a bit earlier, because the house was empty. Also they booked massage and restaurant in advance before our arrival. Everybody was helpful, friendly but also very professional. I really would like to come back to this place again, it has a quite unique feeling: you experience high quality yet you sense home.

Amazing location. The view was simply spectacular. So close to the nature but easy to get from the highway too. Our house was really cozy and well equipped with everything you may need for a short stay. Very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast had many options and was really tasty. Overall Pousadela Village is a great place to stay and I would come back.

I don’t mind leaving a caution but this procedure needs to be updated to modern times. After we left I got an email that they can’t process the refund in time they promised (24h) and I have to contact my bank about it. Last thing I want coming back from holidays is calling my account manager and spending a day solving this issue… In the winter the breakfast is held inside and the breakfast room was pretty small. There were only family with small children and the noise was like in a playground making me want to look for “adult only” type of place next time. Obviously the hotel is not responsible for 20 kids screaming at once when you’re trying to have some food but maybe knowing that it may be uncomfortable for some people the place could be enlarged or simply provide an option to have breakfast in the room without having to pay 15€ for it.

A very unique property with breath taking views. We stayed in Outeiro house and it was beautiful, very clean and comfortable with the spectacular views that we will remember for a long time. The staff is friendly and efficient. We'd like to mention Miguel in particular as he helped us plan a day trip when he didn't need to at all. We felt like we were in a 5 star accommodation without the 5 star price tag. The pool is super clean with great views. The breakfast is so much more than anyone could ask for. The restaurant serves wonderful food. We much appreciate all the hard work that the staff do to maintain the property. If we get a chance to go back to this region, this will be the place we go back to. Thank you everyone at Pousedela for making our trip absolutely splendid. (Stuart, Jane and Saran)

We stayed in the Boavista cottage which is the best cottage at Pousadela, you have a stand alone place to yourself which feels very private with a giant terrace with the most incredible views of the mountains and river below. The cottage was beautifully furnished with excellent aircon which was important as it was very hot. The pool was fantastic, amazing views, just perfect to relax during the afternoon. The service was exceptional, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent, delicious choice of food options which we had in the outside dining area with the magnificent views. This place is perfect.

Quite a steep drive to Pousadela, make sure your car has sufficient power to climb the mountain to the top, the roads are rather hairy.

We enjoyed the infinity pool and the restaurant quite a lot. The meals were very tasty, the staff very friendly and the view absolutely superb. The fact that you are given a gate key, so you can go in and out as you please, is also very good as you have your own autonomy without having to check in reception all the time.

Everything was lovely. We will certainly return.

The road access.

My partner and I stayed at Pousadela Village for 2 nights as a base for exploring the national park and had an incredible time. The setting is breathtaking -- I couldn't stop taking pictures of the view. We loved our cottage too. It had modern amenities and tons of kitchen supplies but was also very comfortable and spacious. We briefly used the sauna on the property which was a nice perk. We didn't use either of the pools but they looked very nice. The best part though of our experience was the service by the staff. When I made the reservation I mentioned that my partner and I were vegan. Since Pousadela Village is in a somewhat remote area, I was hoping there would be something we could eat on site for breakfast and dinner. The staff assured us that we could be taken care of and they went above and beyond for us. They made specialty vegan meals for us for dinner as well as breakfast. These weren't simple or boring dishes either; they were extremely creative, flavorful, and thoughtful. Alvin in particular took great care of us at dinner on our first night there. However, all the staff we interacted with were wonderful! Not having to worry about food during our stay made everything so easy and we really appreciated their effort. This was a really magical stay and I hope we're lucky enough to be able to return here in the future. They're doing some renovations and adding some new stone lodging options in the hillside so I'm sure it will be even more amazing soon!

The only thing I didn’t like was when there was some confusion at the restaurant kitchen, the issue would be addressed loudly between one senior member of the staff and the rest. It was inconvenient and made the guests uncomfortable.

the rooms smelled of fresh paint and it was a little hard to breathe at times. the house must have just been renovated. there was also some construction work going on during the week which made it a little noisier than usual. would still highly recommend! and would return for certain!
