Was visiting area for a long weekend with friends. Great property within minutes of downtown and north shore. Property was well kept and spacious.

We booked this property well ahead of our daughter’s graduation from Pitt, and it was the perfect spot for our group. Comfortable furniture, beds, etc. and amazing views from the rooftop deck! Loved the charm of the exposed brick. Our visit was fantastic!

A great stay, perfect for multiple families. Garage is tight especially for a large car but road parking was fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Overall a fantastic property. The view was spectacular and there was plenty of room for our group to spread out. We greatly enjoyed the place and it's walking distance to local bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying a trip to Pittsburgh!

When you arrive at the property, you may feel regret for booking because of the crowded streets with houses right on top of the other and only a garage door and front door to see. However, the inside is definitely worth it! The pictures online are accurate and the views from the top deck are amazing. We had a group of 8 adults that fit perfectly without the need for the use of any of the extra floor mattresses. One negative would be that there are only two showers - to sleep as many as it advertises, it would be nice to have another one, but we managed. Thankfully we had no issues with running out of hot water. The other big negative is the parking situation. The garage is listed as a two car garage, but it would have to be two compact cars to fit. We had a rented SUV and sedan and only the SUV fit in there, with very little room to open the doors and walk beside it. Thankfully the provided information about additional parking was helpful, but slightly inconvenient to park the second car on a nearby busy street. The kitchen supplies are definitely aged and could use updating (burned on stains on cookie sheets for example).

Great place!

The outside of the property is rough, but the inside is amazing. The view from the top balcony is priceless. Would stay here again when visiting the 'Burgh.

Our group of 6 adults & 5 children enjoyed our stay at this property. The views from the roof deck are outstanding and we found the location easily driveable to most spots. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and the property was very clean.

We had the extended family in tow for a graduation at Pitt. Great space to be together, but also have your own space. The roof top view is even better than you think. The kitchen bar area is definitely funky, but we found it fun (then again maybe we are too short :). The host was responsive on two, small unforeseen issues. We'd highly recommend this place!

Tons of space, great deck, really enjoyed our visit

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The property itself provides as much of an experience as the city does. Everything was very clean and the owner was easy to get in touch with, even providing information on great places to visit within the city. The location provided for a short trip to anywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Good layout for group of 10, short walk to Carson street and great view from roof top. Two minor issues, trash from prior guests remained in the garage and kitchen could be more equipped to handle large groups.

I can’t imagine a better location. Very easy to walk to restaurants and businesses, maybe not quite so easy to walk back up the hill! We made a big Thanksgiving meal for 5 adults with no difficulty. Although the garage is technically for 2 cars we never could get 2 cars in there. The on-street parking wasn’t that bad though. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The master suite looks like something out of Architectural Digest! The couch on the main floor is badly broken but the host has been notified. The host was wonderfully responsive.

We took my dad to the Steelers game for his 70th bday and came up from Louisville. Great location and just a short walk to Carson St and lots of restaurants.

Location was great. Walking distance to food and bars. Place was clean and big enough for a group of 10

Good place to be able to hang out with friends. A little misleading on the number of bedrooms. We had six 70 year olds and one had to sleep on the couch in the living room. It was more comfortable than the futon provided.

Nice place. Would be good for groups. Parking was a challenge.

Whether it’s an 8 minute walk to Carson street or short Uber ride to downtown this home is great to for exploring the city. The home is adequately spaced and has everything you need to enjoy your stay downtown. The upstairs deck viewing the skyline is the coolest. Kitchen is plenty big and had all then utensils needed. Highly recommend this place for groups looking to explore the town!

Excellent view from the porch and good communication from the property owner. Things were clean and comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants a short walk away. Great place!

Property was quite nice. The neighborhood seems as though it is up and coming. Short walk down the hill to restaurants and bars. The garage was a nice plus. The roof top deck has spectacular views of the city skyline. Host was great to work with and the list of recommendations was great!

One of the best vrbos I’ve stayed in. The house rocks!! The common spaces are great - especially the roof deck. Also great location - near shops, river, etc

Easy in and out of the city. Walkable to southside night life. Check in and out was streamlined and off street parking fit a car and small SUV.

My family and I had a great experience at this property. The highlight for us was the spacious rooftop deck with incredible views of the city. We also enjoyed the cool vibe of the exposed brick and other loft-like features on the inside. The wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops of Southside Flats are within walking distance (if you can tolerate a pretty steep slope on the way back). The neighborhood is in transition with many properties nicely updated (like this one!). Driving in the area was a challenge, but we got used to it. The owner was very gracious and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Amazing property! Pictures did not do this rental justice. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked, and more than we were expecting. Very neat and eclectic decor within the house. Definitely recommend, and will check into this rental if staying in the Pittsburgh area again

For the money, this should have been provided. We were also short dish towels for the kitchen. Host said they would come the next day. We left two days later and never saw them. Host is unresponsive. We also suffered without air conditioning one afternoon. Again, host was unresponsive. We were charged for extra people and were told the cost would be adjusted. We did have fewer attendees and guess what -- host has been unresponsive to our request for a partial refund. The brown couch is just about falling apart. Luckily the view from the deck was terrific and beds were comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms were clean. So all in all this is a fine rental. Too bad the host doesn't want to make it a great rental.

We had a nice time at this property and there were no surprises from what I viewed on the listing.

I visited Pittsburgh to take 2 of my best clients to a Steelers game. Upside = Nice house in good location. Downside = 1) No heat on the 1st floor! 2) The TV didn't work on the 1st floor and the TV on the 2nd floor worked, but had no cable service. My client had to log in with his personal cable account so we could watch college football. Our plan on Saturday was to watch college football and enjoy the house. 3) The 2nd floor bathroom was really dirty and it had black mold and spider webs on the window sill. I took a video of this if anyone care to view ! I contacted the host on Saturday afternoon, right after I checked it to question the heat/TV situation. I didn't get any response that day ! The next afternoon another gentlemen contacted (text/phone) me regarding the issues with the house. I didn't get back to him at that point, because I was at the Steeler game with my clients. The damage was already done ! We were only staying for 2 nights and we were checking out on less than 24 hours and I didn't want to get upset again, I just wanted to enjoy the game. It's nice house in a convenient location...but it's a shame the way this (highly rated on VRBO) host conducts business. It shocking that the reviews I read before booking, didn't match up with the experience/conditions we had ! I really question legitimacy of the reviews that are presented for this property !

Property was beautiful and much closer to the south side downtown area. We were a quick a lyft/uber ride away from Casino/Stadium as well. I would highly recommend staying at Jeff's property.
