The first thing I do when I stay at a vacation rental is wipe down every surface with disinfectant wipes (I know, I’m crazy). Most of the time, the wipes are dirty. But not here! Every surface was clean! The bathroom was also very clean, which is so important to me. The apartment is not a hodge podge, it’s carefully curated down to the art and well thought out furniture pieces. The Murphy bed was brilliant! Speaking of beds, they were SO comfy. Another rarity for a vacation rental. Thank you Doug and Carol for the wonderful stay! We hope to visit again soon.

My husband, daughter and I came up for my grandbaby’s dedication and decided to be a Mt. Airy ( Mayberry) tourist. This was perfect size and location for us. Owners were wonderful in responding to any questions we had. Enjoyed it!

Place was perfect! Cozy, great decor, bed was comfy, easy check in and check out. Walked to Main Street to visit shops, sites, restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here for a visit to Mayberry! We love traveling and prefer VRBO stays. So don’t double guess this place! GO! (Oh…and the towels were thick and smelled wonderful! 😊)

This was a great place to stay! The pictures do not really do it justice. It was in a great location and was convenient to everything. It was also spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

My parents and niece had another great stay at the Mayberry Suite. Staying here is starting to become an annual event for my parents and they look forward to returning to this property every year. The unit is within walking distance to all the great downtown shops and restaurants in Mt. Airy. They love the outdoor patio area for coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings. Easy check in and check out process and Doug (the owner) and his family are really great. The Mayberry Suite has everything you need. Hope to be back soon.

Just returned from a 2-night stay with my husband and 10-year-son. We would definitely book this place again during future visits to Mt Airy. Roomy, clean, comfortable bed, really nice bathroom, relaxing outdoor patio space, close to everything!

If your going to stay in Mt. Airy this is the perfect location. We walked to everything. Craft beers, Old North State, restaurants, shopping, and amphitheater. Suite has everything you need, very cozy and up to date. We had a great time!

Had a great stay here. Spotless and very comfortable. I had everything I needed while I was there. Was so close to shopping and restaurants I walked where I wanted to go. Would stay again!

We are always pleased with this property. Great location and wonderful accomadations in a qauint town. Even in off season found plenty to do and time to relax.

Perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Loved the separate bedroom but if had the kids with us the Murphy bed in the living room would have been perfect option for them.

My daughters and I stayed here for a weekend! It was such a beautiful place . Everything at your finger tips inside and out. Walking distance to downtown Mt. Airy! Leave your car parked the entire stay!!! We arrived late and the place was warm and cozy!!We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying at this lovely place! It is so close to town and all the wonderful things that Mayberry has to offer! Doug and Carol are amazing host! They are available for you if you need anything 24/7. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, it has all you need if staying for a night or longer! I love this place and I love the town. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at this cute place and had a great experience! The place was welcoming and fully equipped with everything we needed and it was close to all the local shops and bars. Would definitely stay here again!

I rented the Mayberry Suite for my parents so they could have a short getaway for their 49th wedding anniversary. They have stayed at this unit a few times over the last few years and really love the suite and especially Mt. Airy in general. As a family, we have also rented this unit and the Main Suite (in the same building as Mayberry Suite) at the same time over the past few years. This unit is very well equipped and convenient to everything in the area. Doug makes the check-in and check-out process very easy and is very responsive. My parents enjoy being able to have coffee in the mornings under the covered deck and being able to walk a block or two from this unit to lots of local restaurants and shops in the main area of Mt. Airy. Highly recommended! My parents (and myself) look forward to returning to the area and staying here again soon.

I booked this for 2 young couples (son, friend, and their wives). It's a beautifully decorated apartment with comfortable beds and furniture. Everything the needed was there. The patio and nice furniture adds to the space. This was the best location as everything in down town Mount Airy was within walking distance. Will definitely book for friends/family visiting us to stay there again. SO glad we found this apartment!

The location is perfect. Easy walk to all of the shops in the historic down town area. The apartment was clean and organized. Would definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough great things about this stay. The location was perfect, right on Main St, and so walkable. This was the cleanest place I have stayed in the last year of many stays in owner managed rentals. There wasn’t a single thing that I saw that made me question cleanliness, and I’m pretty particular about those type of things. The only less than perfect thing was that you hear every footstep of those above you, but that’s to be expected in a place like this. Hoping to find another excuse to come back and stay again.

The apartment was clean, spacious & cute! My husband uses a walker & the accommodations were a good fit for him. Bed was comfy & kitchen was stocked with coffee, creamer & cooking condiments. Proximity to historical downtown was perfect.

Went over Easter weekend with our 3 month old for a little get away. The property is great and exactly as pictured. No issues with anything walking distance to most anything you would want. Very quick responses on any questions. Hoping to come Back soon.

This apartment was perfect. Very stylish and very well stocked on everything we needed. The beds were SO Comfortable. The location is so convenient to walk EVERYTHING downtown. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and will hopefully be back for a visit sometime.
