This cabin is sitting right on the water. Spectacular view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful. For those who love to fish, hike or sightseeing this is the place to stay!

The arrival was very well coordinated with the owner. He provided all the information we needed. The cottage was equipped with everything we could have wanted, especially the kitchen. We were there during some very rainy weather, and just sitting and looking out the wonderful picture windows over the lake was so relaxing. The fire pit outside was a great feature, right on the lake shore, on our one nice evening. We hope to be returning in the future.

We could not imagine a better place to "get away from it all." The owners have invested so much care into every detail of their lakefront home. There is a breathtaking view from every room. We could not have enjoyed it more.

Best place on the lake. Well, I dunno any other places on the lake so I’m guessing. But can’t imagine you can get any better than this.

very nice cabin

My husband and I needed a vacation, but are still hesitant about traveling during the Covid pandemic. We decided to stay in-state for a Maine winter vacation. This cabin was the perfect spot for our plans of ice fishing and snowmobiling. My husband is avid in these sports, me not so much. I bought some extra long johns and decided to try it all! What an amazing experience! The cabin is rustic Maine at its best! Plenty of space, well stocked, and a beautiful fireplace. Knowing we were bringing our dog with us, there was everything set out for her as well! Bed, dishes, and a ball! We were so comfortable there, we hated to leave! We will definitely rent it again! The location is so convenient to snowmobile trails, and around the cove a great place to eat and grab a drink. As is common in Maine, there is some sulfur smell in the water, but a filtration system is in place. We brought our own water anyway, so it wasn’t an issue. We highly recommend this cabin, and would love to see it in the summer as well! Easy to find, easy to “check in”. Matt was a great host. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!

Perfect location and proximity to the lake. Dock was great protection for our boat in any weather.

Favorite rental on Moosehead Lake. Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, kitchen has everything you need. Large dock for daily excursions to Kineo via boat. Large Yard provides room for games and a hammock to relax and enjoy the serenity of the lake.

This property is great! Plenty of room and comfortable furniture and beds. House was spotless upon our arrival. Would love to return.

This was my husband and I’s third trip to Moosehead Lake. We brought my parents to celebrate their 50th anniversary. This was our best trip and Matt was a wonderful host. We just wish it was a shorter drive from PA. We will be back!

Had another great stay at Matt's place ,are fourth time up there. It's such a great place to go to get away from every day life ,so relaxing. Will be back again next year. Mike Rimm
