We loved this little cottage. Everything about the place is as advertised. Clean, comfortable beds and a strong AC. It is a very short walk to all restaurants and bars and it is close enough to the boat ramp that we just parked the trailer at the house to avoid the launch fee. Good boat washing area beside the cottage.

We had a great stay in Cedar Key. This home is very clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.

Second year staying here for our anniversary. The Faircloth house is a quaint place, very clean and comfortable and close to everything in Cedar Key. We rented a golf cart which made moving around easy. The management company was a pleasure to work with. We will be back.

The house was great! The location was amazing. You can walk everywhere. The dock side with the restaurants was close...the other directions is the downtown area and then you can walk down the street to the water to watch the sunset. We did end up renting a golf cart for a day just to go drive around and explore the island a bit. Everything was wonderful. Cedar Key is a beautiful, quaint town. Loved sitting on the porch in the evenings having a glass of wine. Will definitely be back!

It was a blessed weekend to be in the home we played in as children. Allen Faircloth is our Great Grandfather. Everything was Wonderful!

Everything was very easy to set up and the workers were very nice!

Walking distance to restaurants and public park with beach, and marina to schedule trips. Fully stocked home with everything you need. Great place for a quiet calm vacation. Plenty of room for our kayak trailer and cars! Would definitely recommend property and rental management company!

Lovely cottage ! The beds are VERY comfortable. Perfect get-away.

Overall, the experience was good. However, the property needs thorough cleaning. It is in the stage of being overrun by palmetto borer caterpillars. By overrun, I mean we removed 25-50 over the weekend. We had to watch our step (they blended into the floors), because we smashed one and the ant army showed up for brunch one day. The rocking chairs look fun, but they are dirty. The beds are comfortable, we had a fun trip, and I will always remember my wife's face when a creepy crawler tagged along in her purse. The company was easy to deal with, we arranged a golf cart through them and that worked out great. I would use them again for another location due to the ease to work with, I however would not choose this location again.

House was originally built in 1921, redone to current status. It is very comfortable, all linens, towels, kitchen utensils, etc there to use. Close to all the action on Dock Street. There is a golf cart on property available to rent. Mccormick Management and Realty was a joy to work with. We’ll be back.

Location was great! Golf cart on the premises is a big plus. The cottage is decorated tastefully and the kitchen has everything that I needed to cook full meals. We will go again!

The Faircloth cottage was very comfortable. We enjoyed learning a little bit about one of its residents by reading about it in the guestbook. I wanted to know more about the history. We loved its location. We could walk everywhere. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location for walking around town. Best part was the golf cart. ($35 a day, but well worth it)

My wife and I stayed at the Allen Faircloth house for two nights, The house is both historic and charming. Being able to walk everywhere was a luxury.

Renting a golf cart is a must to get the best overall feel of this great little town... Food was awesome everywhere we ate. Especially the clam chowder at Tony's...

Steamers has the best drinks. Bring bug spray the little critters are brutal.
