Amazingly kid friendly! Our boys had fun inside with all that is available. It was an easy transition from their space and routine. We loved it!

This property was the perfect for our visit to see family in Alaska. The property was very clean, spacious, had laundry and supplies, and even provided coffee and a few snacks. We traveled with a 5 month old and they had a pack and play and high chair that were very clean. They also had some game systems for older children. It was close to a store, restaurants, and a gas station. There were only a few negatives that didn’t affect our trip but might be helpful to point out while you search for your perfect place. First the house is at an intersection (roundabout). It was a very quiet road with very little traffic but is still close to a road. The other was one of the beds is out in the living area (it is pictured that way as well). There is another bed and a sleeper sofa in two separate areas, but depending on the amount of people in your party the bed out in the living area has no privacy and is next to the bathroom door. It worked for our group but something to consider when booking. Otherwise this place again was VERY clean and spacious! We definitely wouldn’t mind staying there again!

THIS IS EXACTLY THE WAY TO GO!!! It is so hard to visit the grandkids and when we have stayed in Anchorage hotel (ing) it. Putting families up dealing with other people. This place is definitely the way to go. Open space to visit, cook, and chill. Thank you

This property was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. The owners were very accommodating. My kids loved the chalkboard ; the entire property was very kid friendly and they had baby proofing available too! Next time we are in the area we will definitely try to rent again!

Alicia is a great host, the place is clean, warm and comfortable. There is coffee and tea there to make in the kitchen and complimentary snacks on the table to welcome your arrival. I could not of ask for a better place to stay in Big Lake very near to where I wanted to be. Hopefully, it’ll be available the next time we come to town.

The place was easy to find, just hard to locate the driveway with snow on the ground. Alicia contacted me and helped me find it though and explained someone took their markers. Other than that it was great. Perfect spot to watch tv and play games with friends. Recommend 100%

Property was convenient and clean.

Property was nice on inside. Outside needed some lawn care. It was not disclosed that property was on heavily used round about. We picked area thinking it would be quiet, wrong.

We love our blue big lake house....as my kids would call it!!! More than enough room, great setup, awesome games and activities and our first time staying with no snow so the yard was a plus. Owners are great and so quick to respond to any needs. Our top favorite weekend getaway home with everything we need. Always our top pick when in the area.

We had an excellent experience with this property. There was ample space in all the rooms. The property was clean and had all the necessities. We enjoyed going to Big Lake with the frozen road on the lake and seeing a moose. We were in town for job interviews and house hunting. It suited us perfectly.

This place was so super cute. We couldn't figure out the back door to put our trash in and we tried so hard but it wasn't opening. But other than that the house is so big, cute, and overall very satisfactory.

The home was just right for our family. Clean and comfortable, easy to sit back and relax. The owners were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We definitely noticed to simple conveniences.

Near the rink and comfortable. The kids loved the game room and being able to be close for a 6:45 am game.

This nice little cottage was right in town. Easy access to main road, groceries and a local diner. Having laundry during my stay was swell bonus.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from the hockey rink this was a perfect place for us to stay. The kids even won first place in the tournament. Check out the coffee stand across the street and Aardvark for dinner.

This place was perfect for our one night stay in Big Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the amenities it offered.

Ovreall good sized cottage, main master bed is in the same room as the living room. The house is located on a busy roundabout by a main road which we weren't expecting, from the photos we thought it was surrounded by grass and on the lake so we could let our dogs run free.

This is such a peaceful wonderful house. The owners are amazing and helped make our Easter trip magical for our 6 year old. Everything is top shape and they have everything you need to have a relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our long weekend here. Beds were amazing, lots of activities to do inside the home, and the owners were great about making sure we had everything we need. Will definitely be back!

We stayed for a work trip and it was perfect. The house has plenty of space for people and gear. The location is great for traveling anywhere in the Big Lake area.
