Breakfast was great and delivered to the room so we didn’t even need to put on pants! The room was very spacious, beautiful and well appointed.

Can’t imagine a thing, except maybe a name on the street bell.

I appreciated having a room on the ground floor as stairs can be a bit tricky for me. The room was large , with a good walk-in shower.

The furnishings were a bit basic, although the bed itself was comfortable. The reason I didn't give it a higher mark, was due to the very poor breakfast, which we had to eat in our room or outside in the strong wind. The rationale was to supposedly only use local produce and no commercially produced bread, etc, but that is no reason to give us only yesterday's baguette toasted to break your teeth on, no cereal, no fruit, no orange juice and some unappetizing brown ginger jam. Instead of providing the coffee and hot milk separately, the breakfast came with large mugs of very milky coffee. No cheese or croissants, but pâté was offered! I have never had such a poor breakfast in a B&B in 50 years of travelling all over the world!

Located just off the canal so an easy walk from restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean with good mattresses and bed linen. There was place to store our bikes and charge the electric ones at no extra cost -very organised.
