The nice and green location might also be a downside. From the public train its a 15-20 mins walk uphill while the last 200 meters are unsuitable for a rolling suitcase.

The house is old so squeeky floors and you can hear all the noises from other rooms. We got quiet neighbours so no worries though.

We had an amazing time at Torpet Mon. The Hosts were very lovely and helpful with our citytrip. The house is nice & romantic, the room was very beautiful & cosy, the surrounding was quiet and in the middle of beautiful nature next to the forest (there were chickens in the garden and deers passing by). The breakfast was excellent! There was a lot of (selfmade) bread, fresh eggs from the chickens, pancakes, juice, coffee and tea, a variation of fruit, cheese, cereals and the best jam... perfect! Everything you can wish for (and we were asked if there are any allergies etc.) We parked our car safely and visited Göteborg via tram, which station was like 15/20 minutes walk away (we bought our tickets for the ride via app). The ride took us about 15 minutes to the middle of the city. I wish we could have stayed longer and were planning to come back to this beautiful place! Highly recommended if you like unique places.

Room was very unique and the location of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and calm. Mikael (host) is very kind and service-oriented. There aren't many rooms so it feels a bit like home and not like an ordinary hotel. And breakfast is indeed very good!

The bathroom was a bit difficult to handle as it is small and the interior special so it took some time to figure out how it works :-)
