We came for the history and location and was not disappointed. The proximity to all that Wallaroo had to offer was excellent.
The church was all that we hoped for with amazing with entertainment for all the family, we almost didn't need to leave.
Our hosts were very helpful and thoughtful and made our stay very comfortable.
The historical and restoration information and images about the property in the living room was incredible as was the added information David provided when we had the opportunity to meet him. Thank you David!

We had everything we needed to make this an enjoyable stay. There were so many things for the children to do and plenty of space. Would certainly recommend this for families.

We had a great long weekend exploring Wallaroo and Moonta using the church as our base. With 6 teenagers between the two families the church was perfect as we all had our own space. The pool table and table tennis gave us lots to do when at home. The property was in very easy walking distance to the shops, jetty and beach so we didn't have to drive everywhere making it more relaxed for everyone.

Uncertain Times
We had planned a family holiday but had to adapt the plan due to Covid and other family illness. Our host was very helpful in this regard. Those who attended thought that the venue was very interesting. The younger boys were pleased to be able to plays lots of table tennis and darts. The weather was mostly fine and there were day trips to nearby locations.

“Divine” Accommodation
David (the owner) was there to greet us and show us around the property and assured us he would be just a phone call away if we needed anything. The property, being a renovated church, was a very unique place to stay. Our family were quite comfortable and we would highly recommend this property.

Great family stay
Spacious accommodation to fit 2 families, our dog and more.Pool table, table tennis table and darts in the very large games room. Very relaxing holiday with lots to explore in Wallaroo and Neighbouring towns. Wonderful for the fisherman with amenities to clean and cook your catch.

Great, unique stay
Really memorable stay in a beautiful big church. Lots of games for kids and adults to play, plenty of room and relaxing areas. Location was fantastic, within walking distance of shops, park, jetty etc.

Girls weekend away
We all had a great time at your church .... everything was there that was needed , unfortunately mother nature was off her meds and was having the hottest of hot flushes over our weekend , inside was pretty jot , sadly we all know how evaporative works in the terrible heat ... nights were nice when the breeze arrived ... the place is VERY bright real early morning , not a good thing after a night on the coldies ... we had a ball , especially with the ; find a ghost ' apps .... walking is good , we did a little of it getting to a pub ...

Great Family Getaway
This property was perfect for our family getaway, having enough space for the kids to play and having everything in the one place was perfect. Being walking distance to the park and shopping centre was a bonus. Beautiful building with so much character, would definitely book again in the future.

Loved it!
Absolutely loved our time in this unique property! Such an interesting place, perfect for our group. Great location, just a short walk to the main street and jetty. The pool and table tennis tables certainly got a work out, a great touch! Would definitely love to stay again :)

Great family holiday spot
Had a lovely stay and made lots of fun memories, including epic table tennis games, quoits and uno. A bit loud and echoey when things got heated, but we got used to it. We caught crabs and were able to walk comfortably to the shops, cafes and playground. Even squeezed in some crabbing during our weekend. The beds were very comfy, it was cool inside, and we had all we needed in the kitchen. Many things were dusty from disuse, but we weren't bothered by it - you expect some from of that when renting an older heritage home. Overall - a fantastic place for our family holiday.

Fantastic old church and place to stay. David and Colleen are excellent hosts.
Great location great space with lots of different areas that you can find your own space if travelling with groups or a large family. Dog friendly and very safe.

Family Get-Away
The venue was incredible in terms of catering for a large family wanting to holiday together. Holidaying in a renovated Church was so special. I liked the fact that the property was child and dog friendly and had plenty of space for adults and children to entertain, relax, play and exercise in a safe and comfortable environment. The Playground and beach were both in walking distance from the property. We did some crabbing and were lucky to catch a few crabs. The people living in Wallaroo were very friendly. We all had such a great time, and will remember this experience forever. Thank you.

Beautiful character building, so much space
Friends and I enjoyed this unique accommodation over a long weekend. We loved how there were so many spaces within the building, meaning that different groups could be doing different things - we didn't get in each other's hair!
There was good parking for a number of vehicles, and it was in easy walking distance to the main shopping strip and beach.
The facilities included a table tennis table, pool table, Foxtel, and a coffee machine. Unfortunately, the dishwasher and washing machine were not in service we attended. This, along with the overall cleanliness of the building, resulted in the drop in star rating. For us, though, this did not significantly affect our enjoyment. We would happily stay here again.
