We loved our stay here so much that we extended our booking by a day just so we could enjoy that wonderful view for a bit longer! Debra the property manager was very quick to respond to this request (even though we made it quite late at night). This house is close to everything and had everything we needed, including very comfy beds!

We loved staying at the bach on this repeat visit, the house was impeccably clean, the beds comfy and the lake views were amazing!

Property is as described. The kitchen had everything we wanted. The duvets were warm on a very cold night. Also had an assortment of games.

This property was fantastic and met all of our needs. The location and view were spectacular! A nice new kitchen made all the difference to cooking in. There were lifejackets for the kayaks and extra beach towels. A couple of folding chairs in the laundry were put to good use sitting on the private beach watching the kids in the kayaks. It was nippy at night but with a heat pump and wall heater we were toasty. Would definitely stay here again. The kids loved it!

Great place to stay with our family. The bed configuration was perfect for us and the kitchen wonderfully equipped, with plenty of space. All very relaxed with a lovely lakefront view. Would stay again and recommend

This is my third stay at the bach with family and friends, we would not dream of staying anywhere else in Rotorua!

Well situated, great aircon (needed!), and peaceful... we enjoyed the day trips, but the place was so nice it was also a pleasure to come "home." Excellent value!!

Magnificent views and we loved the black swans. The location is good for for all things. The night sky was incredible. We did the Hells Gate mud baths and it took only 25 minutes to drive there. There’s ac in the living room and it works well. We had a wonderful time in Rotorua.

The house was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Our stay over the long weekend was fantastic, with lake breezes helping to stay cool. We enjoyed the views, peace and quiet, and did not want to leave at all.

We stayed over Christmas. It was really nice to have access to the kayaks. Very nice to have a hose to wash our bikes. The proximity to downtown without being downtown was great. Overall a very enjoyable accommodation.

We enjoyed staying at your property. What a wonderful spot on the lake. Debra was great and very accommodating when needed. I highly recommend this property and Rotorua, too! Be careful of the beautiful bushes next to the driveway. Don’t drive too close to them.

Had a super stay at Deborah’s house - everything we needed in a clean, warm, comfortable house with super views over the lake, and beach front access for an early morning swim, or a paddle on the lake in the sit-on kayaks provided. Great kitchen and laundry facilities, first-rate accommodation with private aspect and good security. Walking distance to a 4-square store. Very easy communication with Deborah and overall the house and experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our week here, soaking up the views and soaking in hot pools around Rotorua. The kitchen is beautifully modern with nice appliances and every utensil you could need on hand. The rest of the batch is older style and decor but is still very clean and well maintained. The bed linen and pillows are outstanding, to rival any top hotel I have stayed in! Great showers and a nice bath. The outdoor area is superb with tons of space to relax and for the kids to play. You can enjoy your own private beach and mess around on the Kayaks. The local area has a couple of takeaways and dairies for supplies or there are Countdowns and Pak N Saves only a few minutes drive away. Its also a great base to see all the local attractions, the spas and the luge etc are all very close. Would love to return next year, would recommend this bach to anyone especially for families.

This house was what we needed at the specific time in our three-week trip after hotels and B&Bs; a quiet home to ourselves in a real neighborhood, a kitchen we could use, and a washer to catch up on laundry. It had the basics, but not much more. We would have appreciated a coffee maker, table lamps on both side of the bed (since we are both readers). The furnishings could do with an update, and the arrival instructions need a bit more specificity (e.g. the front door is on the left side of the house, open the lower panel on the alarm pad to turn it off, the heater is a splitter on the living room ceiling), but we made do and even after a day we felt quite at home. Again, the fees of the lake are astounding and inspiring, and the house - ideal for active families with kids - felt quite comfortable. We would stay there again.

We had a lovely time at your Bach! Many of the main attractions of Rotorua were an easy drive from the house, but we really enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the black swans and the paddling teams in the canoes (called "wacas?") on the lake in the morning. Thank you, Debbie and Steve

The Pourakau Bay house was perfect for our group of family and friends, all wanting to do different things during our stay in one of Rotorua's busiest times of the year! The house has ample parking, a beautiful inviting deck with amazing views of the lake and even its own small sandy beach. The house was sparkling clean, well laid out with two bathrooms, with very comfortable beds and luxurious bed-linens. The location was close to the event that some of us were interested in, and easy access to town (without needing to get on a busy highway). It was also really quiet at night, with the moon reflecting in the lake on our first night. We felt totally spoilt and hope to come back soon!

The location is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. The house is convenient to town center and all the restaurants. The only issue we had was the weather was very warm and you can't leave windows open at night because of the midges. It would be really nice to have ceiling fans to make sleeping more comfortable. Overall a great stay!

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The home was in a good location and had a great view of the lake.
