We booked this unit to attend a family wedding on Longboat Key. Located nicely mid-key with easy access to restaurants and stores. Great location on the Gulf side of the key with a pool and the beach just outside our door.

Condo is steps from the beautiful white sands of the Gulf, right next to the pool. Had everything we needed just could use a bit updating in shower/bathrooms, doors, trim and bedroom dressers. The main living area was comfortable, kitchen was sufficient. Could not ask for a better location, lots of places to shop, eat, and just enjoy the coastal living. Property management was delightful.

My family and I had a wonderful first time stay on Longboat Key at Matthew’s condo. The condo was very spacious and clean. It had a great layout with the two living spaces, large dining table and two bathrooms with tubs. It was nice having the washer and dryer inside the unit. Bring detergent and dryer sheets if you plan on doing any laundry. If you plan to eat at the condo a lot, make sure to bring extra paper towels, trash bags & dish soap. Some is provided and will get you by for a couple of days. The location of the unit was perfect! Not far from the parking lot, the trash, the pool, shuffle board, tennis courts, and of course the gorgeous beach! Beach towels, chairs and toys among other things are provided inside the unit. It was great to be able to have a Publix and CVS so close! Highly recommend staying here! Very kid & family friendly!

Easy to get to, walk to amazing beach, friendly people, clean and stocked condo...what more can you ask for? Planning to return again!

Matt’s unit was perfect. Everything you could ever need was supplied, Sara in the management office was thorough and helpful in regards to amenities and things to do in the area. The property was spotless as was the unit. I can’t wait to come back!

I really liked this property. Had all the things we needed. Towels, coolers, kitchen items, everything. Short walk to the most glorious beach. Property is well taken care of and quiet. I loved it and will be back next year for sure ! Thank you so much for letting us stay.

My kids are 17 and 21, and they appreciated having their own space away from us. The rooms have a lot of space and very comfortable furniture.

Fabulous place.. Great for gatherings Well stocked kitchen One thing…. The master mattress is not great… I would love to stay here again next year.. Hoping they get a king mattress topper.. I found a twin egg crate and used on one side of the king bed and it was perfect.. Great property. Great for large families in multiple units

Wonderful location, right on beach with chairs, friendliness, quiet and just a great time!

This was a new property for us to go to for our annual girl's wknd trip. We just loved it! Our unit had everything we could possibly need. There is plenty of lounge chairs at the beach and our unit had an umbrella for us. Tiki bar and restaurant next door was very accommodating for us and just a few steps across the parking lot. We went twice! We will definitely be returning next year!

Great place to stay!

we needed a beautiful beach and a pool - this place is perfect, you walk out onto the beach (maybe a short stroll depending on which unit) Everything you need for the beach is there - towels, chairs, umbrellas, even some toys! Then to the pool in the late afternoon or all day - Easy check in (even at 12:30 am:) Grocery store just down the street for an easy all you need stay!

Condo was well kept and pretty clean. Could tell it was older but in good shape and had lots of updates. Had a lot of supplies, cooler, nice umbrella, plenty of beach towels, etc. Outlets were too big for plugging in items in master bedroom, but there were other available outlets. Pull out couch would not lay flat, but fine for young kid. Overall it was a great place to stay with very minor items to note. The beach outweighed any cons. Great lounge chairs on the beach and plenty of them to go around. Great location and not crowded! Beautiful warm water. Very friendly people as well! Would stay here again!

Lovely complex and condo location near pool and short walk to beach. A few minor problems with TV and appliances, easily and quickly remedied by facility employees. Beautiful beach with plenty of comfy chairs. Peaceful, friendly environment. Wonderful restaurants within easy drive. I would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The unit was clean and perfectly located. We will definitely return.

Wanted to watch bucs nfl game in condo but could not. Unable to replace router while there. Without router had to use data in order to access internet on our phones

email stated office was open till 4 we got there at 3 and office was closed, finding the correct building was confusing. Condo was fine but, not as pictured. The VROB site doens't state that it is at Sand Cay complex so when you get there you hope you're at the right place.

There was a couple of broken items(back door) but we had a great time as always. Matt is a nice host and we enjoy It location & its proximity to things. Weather did not play nice for us :(

Clean, well stocked and Matt is a great host . I would stay there again for sure !

My family, including 4 adults and two little ones, enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was well very equipped and clean upon our arrival. The this first floor unit is wonderful for families. Easy beach access, pool just outside and wonderful grassy area and barbeque area. Excellent location!

while the condo itself is older, the decor is up to date. Beach was a very short walk and plenty of free chairs. The complex was very quiet which was nice. Definitely need to have a car if you want to go out to eat or get groceries.

This property should be removed from VRBO until it has been repaired, and cleaned, updated properly. Ventilation system filthy, the vents were caked with black filth, and there were black streaks on the ceiling where the air blew out. considering we've just been thru 2+ years of Covid, and now hospitals are filling up with RSV patients, I can't believe the lack of concern for cleanliness. Bed linens dirty and old, as well as pillows. Master shower:hair on the wall, drain and door all rusted, mold under the plastic water handle, caulking coming off, leaked water from bottom of tub. warped flooring around toilet. furnace and filter filthy. Doors and baseboards filthy. The place looks like it hasn't had a good cleaning in ages....it takes time for this much filth to build up. hooks on back of bathroom door ripped off master bed felt like a cardboard box Screen door hinged on opposite side of entry door, so that screen door opens into egress walkway..shrubs to the opposite side, making very difficult exit. coffee maker dirty...didn't even want to make coffee in it. Owner and property management were unreachable upon arrival for 24 hours. Spent half an hour walking in the dark trying to find the place. It has to be accessed from another unmarked entrance, not the main entrance of condos. We left the next morning as it was not a place that is inhabitable due to the filth and disrepair. Owner is refusing to give refund, and go down to condo and fix these issues... read sept review from other guests. I wish they would allow me to post the pictures of the place. I am never one to post, but this is one unhealthy place. I am contacting the Attorney Generals office, and the Public Health Dept., as well as the building dept., to check on the door, egress issue. VRBO will do nothing to help....nothing. I will get my money back...hopefully Matthew Loan will rise to the occasion and do the right thing...return my money and repair these very serious issues.

Everything was as listed online. The pool and shuffleboard were out our door and the beach was just a short walk across the lawn. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. (Which is just what a group of 5 moms in our 30s needed!) We loved having all the extra amenities (kitchen, laundry, puzzles, games, etc.) right there. Even pickleball is on site! The pool is big, and over 8 ft deep.

The property, location, town, island and owner were absolutely incredible. The condo was well kept and stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you choose. There were plenty of beach toys for my 3 and 6 year old. The beach was immaculate. The sunsets were nothing short of life changing! I could go on and on. Additionally, Matt was so kind and gracious and stayed in constant communication with us. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

This place had good reviews and we love longboat key and we’re so excited to stay here! However our experience was far below our expectations. We have rented many beach properties and know that sand and dirt is normal when staying close to the beach. We checked in and were shocked to see the poor condition of the condo. The beds were full of sand, the comforters and pillows were stained. The pull out couch was also covered in dirt and hair- the linens had obviously not been cleaned and had a very foul odor. There were no spare linens anywhere in the house and there were no pillow cases for the pillows. All of the extra blankets had this foul odor. We had to fix the lock of the sliding glass door after we had to secure it with a chair on our first night. An entire shelf of the fridge was broken. The keurig did not work after we went and purchased K Cups for it. The shower faucet sprays only half the water from the shower head. The area rugs needed to be replaced- they were beyond disgusting and old. We went and purchased tide pods to wash the blankets and sheets. The staff at the main office were rude and not helpful. We were so uncomfortable with this rental that we left early- we could not stand the sight of clumps of hair and dirt on the floors. It disgusted us! I attempted to take these concerns up with the owner but he made excuses of high traffic and that this was the best deal on the beach. I was very disappointed he didn’t rectify any of our concerns.

We loved the location of this property. It was clean, very spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and towels for the beach. Loved how the beach area was for guests only. Beach Was not crowded at all during our visit. The location is only a little over 2 hours from universal and Disney. We took a day trip to both parks. We loved the feel of the area as well. Very family friendly. We will stay again if we come back to this area.

I thought this condo was located closer to the beach. Was right next to the pool instead. Several things were broken in the condo (toilet, shower, inside fridge, patio door, stains all over walls in bathrooms & kitchen, bedding stained& really hard uncomfortable beds) we still had a fun weekend but was a bit disappointed overall for the price.

The condo is very well appointed with everything you could need. The location next to the pool & shuffleboard is great for little ones. The beach is beautiful with great shelling and easy access from every location on the property. We loved it! We will be back!
