Especially notable was the first class service from the owners--Jim and Tonya went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There were flowers in every room, wine and treats for the adults and a bed, treats and a toy for our furbaby. The location is absolutely perfect--you can walk to restaurants, the beach, and just strolling around the neighborhood is a delight. We will definitely return!

The property was just perfect. From the lush comfy bedding to the sweet abundant food basket. The tvs were an extra bonus. Couldn’t of been more lovely.

Beautifully remodeled and decorated cottage with all modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Jim and Tonya are the most thoughtful and attentive hosts. If you’re looking to experience beach village lifestyle, this is the place.

This charming cottage was everything and more we could have hoped for! Jim and Tonya went the extra mile to make our stay very special. The welcome tray with delicious treats and goodies, lovely flowers throughout and a very sweet and thoughtful gift for our granddaughter. We so enjoyed our second vacation in this beautifully decorated, clean beach house. The hosts welcomed us with fresh cut flowers in every room, drinks, appetizers and treats for our dog! We loved walking in, pouring a glass of wine and sitting out on the deck enjoying the ocean air and surroundings. The beds are so comfortable with high quality linens and nice towels too. Everything was in place upon our arrival. You can't beat the location where we enjoyed our 10 day stay walking to the beach, restaurants and shops!

Great experience

My family and I very much enjoyed this rental property. From start to finish everything went smoothly. The property was spotless and communication with the homeowners was super easy. The welcome basket and extra touches made us feel welcome and right at home immediately. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos. Although it is small, the space is set up to provide maximum comfort. All appliances worked and even the knives were sharp! We cooked dinner in every night and had everything we needed. The wifi and televisions worked perfectly. We were in shock at the ease of parking in a beach community. There was always street parking available at or near the house. Beach access is about a 15 minute walk (with dog and kid in tow) but the walk is beautiful. The neighborhood is bright and cheerful and well maintained. So getting to the beach was half the fun. We would most definitely return.

We loved staying here. The homeowners made us feel so welcome with wine and snacks and dog treats and even a toy upon our arrival. Fresh flowers all over were a great touch. The location and front patio age the best. We walked everywhere, local restaurants and beach all within walking distance. Beds super comfortable, great bedding. Tons of fluffy towels and a stocked kitchen. Will definitely stay here again!

Jim and Tonya were very responsive. Their home was more than delightful. No detail was left out. We hope to come back soon.

We have stayed at a variety of vacation rentals, especially since the pandemic hit. Dahlia House was our best experience, and Jim & Tonya the most gracious hosts ever. Fresh flowers, treats for the pets and for us, full array of cable channels and excellent WiFi. . . the works! Jim & Tonya have set a very high standard that would be nice for other vacation rentals to emulate. We greatly look forward to returning to Dahlia House.

We had a great stay at Tonia and Jim’s home for an entire week. The small touches were amazing and so thoughtful. I would highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back !

This property is fabulous. Jim and Tonya were great to work with. I was visiting from CO to visit my first grandson. It was wonderful to share photos of my family with Jim and Tonya. They truly made me feel at home. The kitchen is a cooks dream. Definitely will stay here again when visiting my family.

Upon our arrival we were met with thoughtful and personal touches to ensure our warm welcome. The home exceeded our expectations in comfort and decor. “The most amazing bungalow in a beautiful neighborhood”. From the moment of deciding and all through our stay Tonja and Jim went out of there way to answer our questions and to ensure we had everything we needed. The house was ideal for our stay in CDM, and we traveled with our dogs, they where also big lovers of the house and area. A short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants makes for a perfect day. And if that was not enough all the extras like fresh flowers in every room, a welcome basket for our girls Rosie and Sami and for us, amazing comfortable beds and linens. This bungalow has it all, and we will for sure be back. Tonja and Jim thank you for making our vacation so amazing.
