We had a wonderful time the Rodeao and fireworks were right across the street so that was a nice surprise. The cabin was REALLY clean. It would have been nice to have windows that opened but we would stay here again

This is an excellent place to stay if you have a larger family/group. It’s close to Wolf Creek ski resort. Easy check in and out. The only things that could improve is the WiFi isn’t good so you can’t really watch anything on the tv and the hot tub isn’t very hot. So my kids and I were bummed that we couldn’t sit in the hot tub after a long day of skiing. The restaurants Mountain Pizza & Taproom is walking distance with yummy pizza/wings & Ramon’s Mexican was pretty good. There’s a Dollar General right down the road that has milk and simple groceries. Overall great place to stay!

Very spacious and clean We loved the wood burning stove. There were 2 problems we had. Only 1 of the 4 burners worked on range and with some wiggling we got a 2nd burner to work and the oven is just possessed. Other than that it was PERFECT.

This cabin was perfect for our family. The heating unit kept us very warm. Close proximity to Wolf Creek. We will stay here again in the future.

The goat cabin is a great place to stay. There are a couple issues that should be addressed. 1st The internet connection was terrible, it would only connect for about 15 seconds then drop. The GM did restart the router but it didn't seem to help. 2nd, the water pressure and volume in the rear shower is pathetic. almost impossible to get shampoo out of your hair.

We had a great time here. We had many age ranges and we all were comfortable and enjoyed it. We will stay here again!

We looked at a lot of reviews on this place, some which were accurate, and some which needed to be updated. We visited the first week of March. Hopefully this helps. The good - The amount of space is incredible for the rate we paid. There is one full bath and one 3/4 bath with a shower. The place was clean and stayed very comfortable with the heater. The mudroom was awesome for all our ski gear. The larger hot tub was working great and very enjoyable. The beds are very firm, but there are four bedrooms and we were able to easily sleep two couples with four total kids under 5 years old in separate bedrooms. The annoying - The windows are so old. The kitchen window didn’t close, but it had a glass shield that held out the cold, but the glass shield rattled incessantly. The oven is super old and very dirty. It smoked terribly and set off the smoke alarm in the hallway. We brought our own griddle after reading reviews about the range. Overall, we had a great time in a great cabin. Would highly recommend, just could improve a couple areas.

We love staying in this cabin in So Fork, Co. WiFi and cell service is difficult. So, if you are looking to unplug, this is the place for you! I gave it 4 stars because the windows don’t open and it gets very warm during the day. Fans are a must. We will book again.

First and foremost - we booked this 2 weeks prior to checking in and over a holiday (July 4th) weekend....so we knew we were getting what was left after all other houses were reserved - but the description and quality was not as advertised in the listing. It has 4 bedrooms; but actually has 2 full baths (one with a tub / shower and the other is a shower) which was nice for our family. The swimming pool and hot tub are community property and both out of service (first sign said COVID related, but after speaking with others - it hasn't worked or been accessible since 2017....so I wouldn't plan on using either during your stay here). This house looks to be an old mobile home that was partially refurbished to be a rentable 'cabin'. There is a note that it is not the leasing office any longer and we didn't have any issues with people coming up to the door the entire week we were there. Colorado is experiencing unusually high temperatures and the majority of all houses or businesses there do not have air conditioning; which we knew and were ok with. What was not ok at the house is that 50% of the windows were screwed shut and not able to be opened, the other half did not have screens or had a screen protector on window - not allowing any air to get into the house. It was around 85 in the house during the day and mid 70s at night. 3 of the 4 bedrooms did have a box fan provided in them. The inside of the house was as clean as it could be (other than just being old and falling apart); but the outside area and mud rooms (front and bad) were filthy. The yard all around house was not groomed or well kept at all and the mud rooms hadn't been swept or cleaned out in a long time - lots of bugs everywhere (dead and alive). This place has huge potential if they would finish the renovations, fix the windows and get a lawn service. Until then, proceed with caution and definitely do not pay more than what this is worth.

I've stayed at these lodges for several years, however this year the beds are very hard in two of the bedrooms in this particular lodge. I would strongly recommend for the lodge to not use these bed mattresses in anymore of the bedrooms. They are very uncomfortable and I like firm mattresses. These mattresses or foam mattresses are not comfortable. The other bedrooms had regular beds, hopefully they do not put the same hard mattresses in these bedrooms. If they do, I will no longer stay here and I've been coming for 8 years at least now. The cabin was nice, I would suggest a deep clean.

Wow! First off, it was just myself, fiancé and our doggo. It was bigger than what we needed but the perfect home, kitchen and location for everything we needed. Directly next to the grocery store, and liquor store! Had an amazing back - side (front) yard! Full of snow for our dog to run around as much he wanted. It was comfortable, cozy, warm, and perfect! We will DEFINITELY be coming back to south fork and booking this wonderful cabin again!

Overall, it’s a good place for the price. I’m going to list some pro’s and con’s.Pro’s: large cabin; comfortable/warm beds; easy access to highway; fenced backyard for dog (fence needs fixing in 1 corner though); entrance is mud room for shoes; large dining tableCon’s: back bedroom windows do NOT close all the way and the bedroom gets COLD at night, back left burner on stove doesn’t work, needs a few more blankets, back door lock is VERY difficult to lock, floor vent in back bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in a long time and is full of hair and lint, oven is NOT a double oven (just a large single oven with 2 doors, the wooden counter is VERY sticky (it needs to be refinished); pool and hot tub were out of commission.I might stay here again if they get those windows fixed and the counter refinished plus the appliances updated.
