We had a nice stay here as we visited the Lakes and White Mountains regions. Vinnie was a gracious host who strives to have comfortable accommodations for guests. Several things have been upgraded from the photos: there is large tv, nice sectional couch and electric fireplace in the living room area, and two additional arm chairs in the dining area. Of note: the tub/shower is in the bedroom. There are window air conditioning units and ceiling fans. The view from the deck is gorgeous. There is ample seating on the deck, but no lounge chairs or bags game like show in the photo. The pool table is a fun addition. Vinnie and his wife created a beautiful chalet-style space! In Bristol we enjoyed dining at Cielto, The Homestead and Gina's Place twice for breakfast! Don't miss Twin Designs Gift Shop in town. We visited Flume Gorge and Littleton the day of our arrival. From this area we did one day in the White Mountains on the Kancamungus Highway and another day around Lake Winnipesaukee. On the day of our departure we visited Danbury General Store for breakfast sandwiches that hit the spot! And if you happen to make it over to Vermont like we did, Frazer's Place in Windsor, VT was an unexpected treat for lunch and ice cream. Enjoy your time relaxing in this beautiful area!

We stayed here this summer for a few days and wish we had booked it for longer. There were amazing views of Profile Falls on one side and mountains on the other. My 8 year old’s favorite part was the pool table. Everything inside was beautiful and Vinnie and Mitzi thought of and provided everything one would need for a stay. They were also very kind and friendly and had a wealth of info for the surrounding area. The house is close enough to town to be convenient and far enough to feel secluded and peaceful. We would definitely stay again.

This property is amazing, the unit had everything we needed and more. The views breath taking. The owners so helpful and sincer. It was stormong the first night and they brought is a flashlight in case the power went out. Vinnie cane over to check in on is and was so knowledgeable about the area you can tell he loves his town and community. The waterfull was mesmerizing and had an amzing view from the deck and window's of the unit on one side. The otherside we watched hummingbirds. All furniture and television was updated and modern. We even played a few games of pool and ended at tied so no one was a sore loser...him.. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will be back again some day. Very nice

For a last-minute decision to escape to the mountains for the weekend, this was a great choice. As nearly every review mentions, Vinny is super friendly and responsive, and gave helpful suggestions for the area. His property (which includes some other cabins) is really well maintained, and I appreciated the homemade trail through his property right down to the waterfalls. The only things I think folks should be aware of are: 1) There was basically no internet service, despite some amazing weather. It was nice to disconnect for the weekend, but this probably isn't the place if you are hoping to do anything online (including researching restaurants, etc., in the area!). There is minimal phone service, though I suppose that depends on your wireless provider. 2) In addition, although Vinny very much respected my privacy, this property is attached by a deck (not the interior structure) to his house, and it is above the garage used for restoring some pretty amazing antique cars. The entrance is off a private side of the deck, and you can sit outside and look out over the falls/mountains without really knowing anyone else is around, but those seeking privacy should probably keep this in mind. Those two things aside, it was a welcome escape for the weekend! Great trails, a waterfall, a cute small town nearby -- not much to complain about! (Oh, and the interior has been updated from the photos -- some nice new furniture, and amazing views from every window!)

This was our third time visiting here. It is better every time. Vinny is a great and knowledgeable host. The view is beautiful and the amenities are above and beyond!

Wonderfully decorated home overlooking both the waterfall and a beautiful valley. A large pool table dominates a portion of the room but there is ample seating inside as well as outside on the large deck. Well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful, quiet and just what we had hoped for.

This was such a relaxing weekend away! I brought my Aunt, and she is still talking about how much she enjoyed it. The sound of the waterfall, watching the wildlife, being at eye level with the treetops, and the quiet made for pure peace. As everyone else says, the pictures don’t do this place justice. Not only has the interior been updated since pictures were taken, but there isn’t anything you could need that Vinny and MitzI didn’t think of already. I will definitely be back!

We so enjoyed our stay above the falls. The apartment was quietly eclectic with beautiful artwork, cool apt design, a full sized billiards table and gorgeous views, including the falls. And it was fully outfitted for our needs. Our hosts are nature oriented, so in the yard and deck, we saw many birds and even a bear. Though our Verizon service was a bit sketchy, it gave us a chance to relax into a beautiful environment uninterrupted. We very much enjoyed our experience with Vinny and Mitzi.

The view of Profile Falls is stunning, like you could leap straight from the living room windows into the pool at the base of the falls. It takes a little more work than that to get there though: a twenty minute walk on roads, or exploring unmarked trails that might get you there a bit quicker. Once there, the large pool at the base of the falls is a popular swimming hole among the locals - for good reason. The unit, along with a large sunny deck, is located above a garage where Vinnie, the host along with his partner Mitzi, keeps and works on a collection of vintage cars. Their house adjoins the garage. We arrived via taxi after having an accident that left us without a car during our stay. Vinnie and Mitzi generously gave us rides into town for groceries and later, to pick up a rental car. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to go back!

If you’re looking to unwind and relax, this is the place. Waterfall views, incredible sunrises, peace, and beauty. Those are a few ways to describe this property, there are so many more. No pictures can fully capture the serenity you will find when you stay here. We had a great stay and Vinny & Mitzi are exceptional hosts. From the blueberry greeting to the dinner reservations at a special local place, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If we’re ever back in NH we will not hesitate to stay at one of their properties. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cabin overlooks a spectacular view of Profile Falls from above. It is a great place to sit back and relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or hang at the fire pit on the deck and watch the stars in the evening. The cabin is very comfortable and has well appointed furnishings that make you feel right at home. The hosts, Vinnie and Mitzie are special people...from helping us with hard to get dinner reservations in town, to providing information on local places to see, and leaving us fresh picked blackberries outside our cabin door. This is a truly a great place to go escape and relax. We certainly hope to come back in the future.

It was a lovely stay and we had a great time. Only issue was WiFi being spotty at best so if you are invested in staying somewhere with speedy fast WiFi or have to do work online I would not recommend here for that. For a retreat away with gorgeous views and a great space it was perfect.

This is the perfect getaway location and the property is absolutely beautiful. Vinnie is a great host and helped us out when we forgot our clothes steamer. The waterfall out back is only a short hike away and was a great backdrop to the mountains that are full of leaves.

I was looking for somewhere to just get away from it all and relax for my husband's birthday. Wanted somewhere we could go fishing and enjoy nature. This had it all! The views are amazing and listening to the waterfall is so relaxing. Vinnie and Mitzi are just wonderful. Vinnie is full of helpful info and there if you have any questions. We stopped in and had something to eat and/or drink at a few of the local restaurants, everyone was so friendly. This rental has the most direct and beautiful view of the waterfall. There is a path on the property that takes you down to the base of the waterfall or you can go right down the road and access it that way. The rental has everything you could possibly need and the pool table was such a great bonus! I chose this place so randomly and if you know me, that is so unlike me. So glad I did! Would definitely go back ❤

We enjoyed every second of our 2 night stay at this outstanding chalet which overlooks Profile Falls and the beautiful NH skyline. The friendly owner, Vinny, welcomed us within minutes of our arrival. He provided us with several ideas for ideas for hiking right outside our door, as well as restaurant suggestions. He was so informative and we enjoyed the several conversations that we had with him during our stay. The chalet was very clean and comfortable, and we loved the opportunity to play pool, make our own delicious meals and relax on the comfy furniture, all while enjoying the beautiful waterfall, natural surroundings and pretty birds outside of every window. We will definitely return for another fabulous getaway, and to enjoy Vinny's kind and friendly hospitality.

If you’re looking to get away and enjoy the woods with a breath taking view…This is the property for you. I have 0 complaints about this stay. Great place, nice views of waterfall

I stayed here for just one night to attend a friend's wedding in nearby East Andover, NH. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. It was very nice - the pictures don't do it justice! The host was communicative and kind. I would stay here again without hesitation!

After reading all the posutive reviews about Vinnie's place, I really had high expectations and thought I might be disappointed when we got there. I was pleasantly surprised to see the rental more than exceeded my expectations. The views of the waterfall and the mountains were amazing!! I was also impressed with the unique items used to decorate inside the rental. The beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers on the table was a special touch and gave us a warm welcome. Vinnie was a hospitable host and gave us useful information about the community, including where to eat and places to visit. It was a pleasure talking to him and meeting his dog, Winnie. Can't wait for our next visit!

My better half and I spent a weekend here with plans to attend a wedding. While we went to the wedding I would have stayed at this magical chalet and never left!! It was so much more than expected. Pictures just can’t do it justice. The waterfall, the hiking, the downtown area and of course the chalet were perfect for us to unwind and unplug. We enjoyed playing pool and admiring 360 views from the deck. Easy access to breakfast , lunch and dinner locations. Vinny was a fantastic host. We had an opportunity to chat upon arrival and at departure. Salt of the Earth kind of people. And two cute pups. As dog and nature lovers we felt truly at home. I can’t wait to go back and see it in full fall color. If you’re looking for a getaway this is the spot, although I hate to say so because we l’d like dibs on the calendar
