Das Haus, der Pool, die Lage haben uns wunschlos glücklich gemacht. Perfekt für zwei Familien, die getrennte Wohnungen bevorzugen. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und so willkommen fühlten wir uns auch die ganze Zeit. Ob bei der Suche nach einem Arzt, Fragen zu Ausflügen oder der Kulanz bzgl. zerbrochener Kleinteile war Josipa die beste Gastgeberin. Auch die frischen Tomaten aus dem Garten, der Schnaps und das selbst gebackene Gebäck der Mutter haben uns den Aufenthalt versüßt! Auch die kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrräder waren super, Grill klasse, Klimaanlage sehr gut, Küche gut ausgerüstet. Ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen!!!!!

Ein tolles Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super sauber und ein wunderschöner Pool. Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub. Da hat wirklich alles perfekt gepasst. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Dankeschön!

Ein wirklich toller Urlaub mit zwei Familien. Großes Plus sind zwei vollbekommen autarke Wohnungen mit eigner Küche etc. und nette Vermieter an einem tollen Ort. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

We stayed a week at Villa Milana, 6 adults and 2 kids (3,5 yrs and 1,5 yrs). The 2 apartements were really cosy and functional, and it was very soundproof (considering the small kids' early mornings ;) ). The pool area was lovely, and the pool was warm and clean. The surroundings were nice, lots of narow streets and beautiful gardens with oranges, pomegranates, lime, olives etc. Close to the airport and to nice Split and Trogir, i.e short transportations. And very close to the sea and to lovely stone beaches. We were very well welcommed and taken care of by Josipa and her family! Sophia even brought a delicious chocolate cake on my birthday, so kind! We hope to be back in Croatia and at Villa Milana soon again. Thank you! //Katarina with family

A great villa with everything you could wish for and more. Welcome drinks and snacks very much appreciated when we arrived late in the evening. Pool had lots of seating and plenty of shade - very clean and very good quality facilities. Great BBQ and everything provided to get started. The veg garden was lovely and useful in our cooking too! The hosts are great and very helpful which added to our enjoyment. There is a lot to see and do and the area is not at all over developed with great restaurants in walking distance and so much better value than most of Europe. Would most definitely recommend this property.

This is in fact 2 apartments, one above the other, which really suited our party of 2 families. Both places were lovely, chic, bright, sunny and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Fantastic, large garden area with large pool, which was God-send in the heat, although the villa is only a few mins from the sea, beach and bars if preferred. Josipa & Davor, and their daughter Milana were great hosts, providing any help we needed without being intrusive, and Sophia (who lives nearby) was welcoming, kind and generous, providing home-grown vegetables and local liqueurs, and we particularly enjoyed the company of her gorgeous cats! Wonderful stay, highly recommended as a good base for exploring Croatia.

Flott feriebolig som passer bra for en storfamilie på 6 voksne og to små barn. Vertskapet er fantastisk, imøtekommende, hjelpsomme. Vi følte oss veldig velkomne og godt ivaretatt. Vi fikk fri tilgang til grønnsakshagen og ble traktert med hjemmelagde produkter. Uteplassen kunne vært litt større og bedre tilrettelagt for små barn. Savnet også et landsbysentrum litt nærmere.

Thank you to Josipa, Davor and family for their lovely hospitality during our stay. The Villa lived up to all expectations. It was a great base for exploring the local area as well as further afield like Plitvice Lakes and Krka National Park. The villa and pool were wonderful - a real home away from home. We, 9 persons 3-70 years old, from Sweden, spent a really nice week in the month of may 2019 in the villa. Josipa was fantastik and helpt us with anything we needed or asked for. The Villa was light and clean and in the big warm pool we spent a lot of time. Every night we had dinner at the big table by the pool. We also biked and walked the fine way along the sea just near the villa. When we arrived we where very nice welcomed and even got a newbaked cake another day! We really had a lovely visit in the villa and we would like to return another time.

Property was furnished in an attractive contemporary style.Pool was well maintained and perfect for the hot weather! We received a warm welcome from Josipa and her delightful mother and they were both always available if we had any questions.

I could not rate this property more highly. The owners were so hospitable and kind - took us to the supermarket on the first day and provided fresh produce, local liquor and cake! The pool and outdoor area lovely, short walk to a fantastic restaurant and lovely beaches for swimming. Thank you!

Thank you to Davor, Josipa and Sophie for making us all feel so welcome, for help with local sites, restaurants and to Sophie for the regular supply of produce from her garden and cooking. The villa was lovely it suited our group well as the two separate parts (upstairs and down) gave each family their own space. The beach and well priced local restaurants were within a 5-10 min walk. It’s worth noting the beaches along here are not sandy but are small shingle or jumping off jetties, a pair of beach shoes makes things easier for everyone. The location of the villa is great, there was so much to see and not enough time. This is a beautiful part of Croatia with very friendly people, can’t wait to return. Thank you again.

We had an amazing time. The owner’s mother Sophia lives next door and she absolutely spoilt us rotten while we were there. We were greated by home made canapés and cherry brandy, we had liqueur left for us, we had produce from her garden and we had a home made Swiss roll cake one day and a home made baked cheesecake another evening ( which just happened to be one of our birthdays!). The apartments are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, we had clean towels at the end of the first week and use of a washing machine the whole time. We also used the BBQ area quite a few times. We ate every meal outside in the terrace. And the pool!!!! Great size and well enjoyed by the children and the adults. The pool lights in the evening stayed on until 11.30pm and we all enjoyed plenty of late night dips. The Kastela area was unknown to us but we loved its simplicity. It is very unspoilt and nowhere near as busy as other towns in the area. Prices are also good locally. The airport is only 10/15 minutes away so a very short transfer. We hired a car but with the beach and supermarkets so close and a regular bus to Trogir or Split there is really no need for a car unless you want to go further afield. The scenery is stunning with the mountain backdrop and the crystal clear seas. We hired a sailing boat for a day from Kastela Marina and had a fabulous time exploring the local islands. We also used the bicycles at the villa to do a bit of exploring. Really couldn’t fault anything about the accommodation, the host, the location, the weather, the scenery or the cultural sites. Just perfect - we didn’t want to leave. Thank you to Sophia and her family for a very enjoyable and memorable holiday.

We spent a week at Villa Milana in June. Our group (3 couples between 21-28 years and one little older couple) enjoyed the week very much. Josipa, Davor and the family are really unbelievably nice and helpful. They even drove us to the grocery store and gave us selfmade local food to taste. The house was perfect for us. It has 2 quite similar apartments with good amenities. The pool is great! Surroundings of the villa is nice and peaceful. There are restaurants, grocery shops and beaches nearby. Uber-taxi is easy to get and bus 37 drives quite near too. There are also some bikes you can use to drive around. Villa Milana is a relaxing and wonderful place to spend a holiday! We can highly recommend it to everyone.

On arrival our host warmly welcomed us and even took us shopping for groceries! Fantastic apartments, we travelled with 2 teenagers and stayed in the upstairs apartment, whilst my parents and aunt & uncle shared the downstairs apartment, which meant we were together but still had our own space! It was easy walking distance to the local shop for groceries and a couple of restaurants. A longer walk gives many other options for bars and restaurants. We also used the bikes to explore the other Kastel’s. Just a short taxi ride into split (the host arranged this for us) for a larger city experience. Overall a great holiday!

We loved our stay at Villa Milana. The family took so good care of us, and even now and then gave us local drinks and local food. The villa was amazing! we loved the pool. I would definitely book it again sometime :)

The villa is located in a convenient yet quiet residential area really close to the sea. Davor, Josipa and their family couldn't have been more helpful. The use of some bikes was great just to pop to the bakery or down for a swim. 37 bus between Split and Trogir is inexpensive and convenient. The location is also very handy for the airport and whilst you see the planes going overhead it doesn't detract from the relaxing feel of the villa and its pool. We enjoyed using the BBQ on a few occasions and it's a great way to cook fresh local produce. The owners share freshly grown produce front their attached plot such as tomatoes, peppers, chillis and even aubergines! We all had a great stay here and would recommend it for families in particular.

A lovely villa in a great location, walking distance to the beach and wonderful local restaurant situated right in the sea front. Short drive to Split and Trogira - which are well worth the visit. Close to numerous quaint Kastelas along the coast. Hosts were very welcoming. Offering cherry brandy on arrival and offered us use of their fresh grown vegetables from the garden... the tomatoes were amazing. The villa is set out as two apartments, one up and one down stairs which worked great for our family and our parents. Thoroughly recommended

We had a great time in this villa. Everything was tidy and worked well. There are 2 floors with 2 kitchens and 4 bedrooms. You can even use some bicycles for free. The people are very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance (a good and cheap restaurant is Baletna Škola). To get by bus to Split or Trogir it takes around 30 minutes. I can absolutely recommend this. Thank you so much for the great hospitality!

We spent a week at Villa Milana in July. Our group from Finland (4 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed the week very much. The villa is very modern, very clean and well equipped. The villa is located in a quiet area and the views are awesome. The pool is superb! It is quite large and our five-year-old boy even learned to swim there. We didn´t rent a car because all the services are in a walking distance. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and you can take a bus or a taxi to get to Split or to the airport. Davor, Josipa and the rest of the family were very helpful and friendly. Villa Milana is a relaxing and wonderful place to spend a holiday! We highly recommend it to everyone, with or without kids. Thank you Davor and Josipa, hopefully see you again someday.
