We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The host was responsive and the home was so beautiful. This is a great place to stay for all seasons. We stayed in August where we went jeeping and did day trips to Silverton and Ouray. And we did plenty of porch sitting.

My wife and two friends booked Mark and Sai’s place for our weeklong trip to the San Juan region to hike and ride Jeep trails. Hands down, this is perhaps the best (of many) rentals I’ve ever experienced. The property is amazing. It’s the perfect balance of private mountain views, yet so close to both Ridgway and Ouray. The log cabin, the barn, the cows, it’s all incredible. Mark and Sai live onsite in the house next door - they are so friendly and hospitable. They care for the cabin rental like it’s their own. Top appliances, mattresses, and amenities - all first class. I would book this again a thousand times over. I can’t wait to return!

I stayed with a couple of friends for a few days of hiking and canyoneering. The log cabin is beautiful and very well-appointed. A lot of small thoughtful things like hooking up the Keurig directly to water so it doesn't have to be refilled. The kitchen was great and my friend who likes to cook really enjoyed it. The rest of the cabin was equally nice and we particularly liked staying out on the patio, having drinks and enjoying the view of the valley and mountains. Mark (who lives on the property) is a wonderful, gracious host and we enjoyed getting to know him. Can't wait to go back.

We had a great stay at the cabin just outside of Ridgeway. Great country feel and minutes to town. Great roomy Cabin. Excellent hosts. Checkin process very smooth. The location with killer views of the big mountain and laid back feel of Ridgeway was perfect for our family. We have an 8 month old and the host even had a crib set up and ready for us!! Would love to come back and stay again.

We made a last minute booking for our anniversary/birthday weekend and we are so happy we did! If a vacation rental could encapsulate all that is CO, this is it. The fresh air, natural hot springs and wild animals all around us. The picture perfect views of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking, the rustic beauty of the cabin and surrounding landscape are priceless and the hospitality of the owners will leave you feeling like you came to visit a family member. (The ones you actually like) Everything you need is here and they take great care to ensure that you are comfortable. We had a bottle of “adult grape juice” waiting for us upon arrival to celebrate our special occasion (Mahalo guys). The cabin was extra clean and fully stocked with toiletries, a commercial keurig, pot/pans, linens, pamphlets for local activities and even menus for the nearby restaurants! This place does NOT disappoint. We can’t wait to return.

This property is really unique and such a cool way to visit the mountain towns of Western Colorado Everything inside the cabin is well appointed. The finishes are unique and handcrafted Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with amazing view. Comfortable stay!

Tis log cabin was awesome. It was rustic but had all of the upgraded features you could want. MArk was an excellent host. Waking up to see the mountains out of the huge front windows was so relaxing.

We loved our stay! The log cabin feel is wonderful, and goes right along with the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains reaching over 14,000 feet! The home is very well appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable. Being close to the little town of Ridgeway is nice, yet you still get the feel of being in the country. And a bonus that Ouray, CO is only 10 minutes away, “the Switzerland of America”! The host Mark was great and available if anything is needed. We’ll most certainly be going back! Thanks Mark for sharing your wonderful log home!

Hospitality. Views. Comfort. Quiet. The owner is so nice and we sat on the back porch just chatting for nearly half an hour my first evening there. He offered to take me to breakfast the next morning, and even let me feed his horse a couple of carrots just to be nice. Very warm and welcoming experience. The place is beautiful and comfortable as well. The view will bring tears to your eyes. What a lovely place to share with travelers. Thank you so much Mark and Sai!

5 stars all the way! Beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Hot showers with great shower head. Kitchen well equipped. Super Keurig set up with direct reverse osmosis filtration. Beautiful stone fireplace. Views wonderful. Close to restaurants in Ridgway. Get a tour of the amazing barn. Deer and Turkey came to visit. Highly recommend. Host Mark wonderful.

Wonderful log cabin in a very convenient location for exploring the Ridgway area. Cabin was very clean and bed was comfy. Beautiful view of the mountains. Mark and Sai are wonderful hosts and had great recommendations for exploring the area & dining options in Ridgway. The only complaint we had is that we couldn’t stay longer!

We were staying in Ridgeway, and have always liked log cabins. This one was great, with a fine Mountain View and better than average kitchen.

This beautiful log cabin was perfect in every way. Super clean, very well furnished including a great kitchen, filtered water and fabulous coffee maker. Attention to detail was obvious, care was taken to make our stay comfortable. This is a perfect location to explore the amazing beauty of this area of Colorado. Our host, Mark, was readily available if we had any questions. I so appreciated all the little things he did to make this feel like a home away from home. I can't wait to go back!

We love the house, Ridgeway was the perfect location to stay if you plan on visiting the Western slope towns. The house was clean, plenty of space and the views are excellent from just about anywhere in the house. We will more than likely be staying there every year.

All the amenities you could want, comfortable beds… AND owners who live nearby and are fully vested in their rental property to make it clean and ready for each renter. Coffee on the front porch every morning the view is amazing. Ouray is less than ten minutes away. Fantastic hiking and 4x4 riding there. Ended up Loving Ridway dinner and walks in Ridway has that high country home town vibe. Mark the property manager knocked himself out made us feel like we should just move on in. You need nothing the kitchen is well stocked with all that's needed for a comfortable stay. Certainly a premier host. We will be back. The area is UTV friendly on the county roads lots of trails and the San Juan's are a 15 minute haul to snagging areas. There are several on the 550 aka the million dollar hwy. Have fun great place.

We enjoyed our stay in Ridgway very much, especially sitting on the front porch watching the prairie dogs play nearby. It is near both Telluride and Ouray which we enjoyed visiting. The owner came over and oriented us to the house and firepit/BBQ area. Only drawback was the rough gravel road in, since we had a brand new car without a lot of ground clearance.

We loved our stay! The log cabin was perfect for our stay in Ridgeway. It was a great home base for travel into Telluride and Ouray too. The beds were super comfy and our group loved relaxing on the porch each day to admire the beautiful view. Mark was a terrific host - flexible, helpful, kind and easy to contact. Thank you!

We will do it again - loved the place

Our stay in Ridgway was peaceful. The log cabin was rustic with a few modern touches. It was very quiet, and there were two different herds of deer that frequent the front yard, as well as a group of wild turkeys. The view off the front porch was breathtaking with Ouray to the left and Mt. Sneffels in the front. The house was within walking distance to downtown Ridgway to hit a restaurant (with hit or miss hours of operation in November) or the awesome ice cream shop. Unfortunately, the internet went down while we were there and had no capability to make a phone call, look up hiking trails, etc. Overall, the time we spent at the log cabin was restful and rejuvenating.
