Our group of 4 had a short 2 night stay. This central location allowed us to walk everywhere and explore Baker Street. Beds were comfortable and we had all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Chara welcomed us by leaving a delicious fresh baked load of sourdough bread along with oil/vinegar. She was a clear and prompt communicator. This listing is just as pictured and roomier than expected.

Gosh. I can’t say enough good things about Railtowne Lofts. By far our favourite place to stay. An extension of home with all the accouchements and then some. Beautifully presented, spotless and elegant. Perfectly located so you can walk anywhere in town. A place you will have on your favourites list for sure.

Two retired guys up from Lower Canada playing along the Powder Highway while our knees and hips can still manage. The property is a little tricky to find, but the location is great! The views … Spectacular mountains across a rail yard. Super convenient to the restaurants and shops in downtown Nelson, and the apartment is well fitted out.

We stayed here over New Year's Eve weekend after skiing Whitewater during the week. This place is really cozy for two couples to hang out - we watched lots of YouTube ski movies together after we had walked the town for dinner and drinks. Could hear the neighbors above but hey it was NYE and we were all up. Kitchen is perfectly stocked to make a little breakfast and even comes with tea and coffee and creamer! Chara has a knack for decorating, this place just feels like a dreamy vacation!

Great experience. Our host was great with direction and communication the entire weekend. The place itself was super cute and so clean and well presented. I will make this my regular place to stay in Nelson!

The host was great and answered questions quickly. Outwardly the place is clean but is in need of a deep clean and dust. The trains are both a plus and a minus. We liked the location close to the town centre section.

Rented this suite for my son and myself for his Nelson Leaf tryout. Tons of space , clean and super attentive staff. They had everything plus more in this suite, felt like home!! Would come back in a heartbeat ❤️❤️❤️

Railside suite was perfect for our stay. Chara did a great job providing us with everything we may need. The information booklet she had with places to visit or eateries. Railside suite was located within walking distance of all the shops, restaurant's and coffee shops. Also if you are up for it you can take on the walking tours to see some of the many historical sites around Nelson. One restaurant she recommended was our favorite. Close to the action downtown, close to the lake/ city beach very clean property.

Chart’s Railtown Suite was absolutely PERFECT for us! It was very spacious yet incredibly cozy. Her kitchen is very well stocked—actually the entire suite lacks nothing, and the beds are extremely comfortable! We’re from the Prairies where trains pass by all the time, but standing on the deck and waving to engineers was a totally unique experience—yet not noisy inside the suite at all! We will definitely recommend Chara’s suite to others!

My fiancé and I had an amazing stay at the Railtown suite! It is close to everything and we loved coffee on the patio in the morning and drinks in the afternoon. The bed was super comfy and the rental is well stocked with everything you need. Chara was responsive throughout the entire booking process. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this rental for your Nelson visit!

Found the accommodation very easily. Meticulously clean and very comfortable. Covered parking in carport was a nice bonus. Large windows to take in the view… of the industrial area and train tracks within feet of the home. Three trains came by however the noise was minimal - to my surprise! I don’t know how a permit was provided to build so close to the tracks!! Thankfully when you sat down on the couch you only see the beautiful mountain range. Walking distance to Baker St. and restaurants. Enjoyed three meals at Hume Hotel - all very good.

10/10 Everything about our stay was excellent! The space is really beautiful. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The windows are huge and bright. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. The bathroom was very well stocked with great supplies. There was laundry in the suite (love that!) - with supplies if needed (I brought my own but it’s amazing to have it available if needed.) Don’t be put off by the train track, everyone in Nelson can see/hear the trains. I will say that we never heard it during our 4 day stay (but we did hear it one night when we stayed in a nearby hotel.) There are stairs to walk down to the front door in case that’s an issue for anyone (it was not for us.) Excellent location - so close to everything! And a great, safe parking spot on site. Communication with our host was excellent, always very quick and very clear! Oh, we loved the restaurant review board in the dining area, it helped us to choose great restaurants. We highly recommend this property! Thank you to our hosts for a fabulous stay! We hope to return!

We had the best stay at this location. The property is designed so beautifully in a rustic modern and warm way. It was clean and the perfect location to walk anywhere in town. Would recommend!
