Property overall was very clean. We did not spend much time in the unit but did find it had everything we needed. About a 5 minute drive to the village..

Would stay again. Very responsive management, great set up. Has an extra room with a couch that makes it easy to bring 1-2 more guests than beds.

This home was perfect for our first trip to Whistler. The proximity to the Creekside area for obtaining rentals and the gondola was very convenient, although the ski in/out aspect of this condo is not for beginner skiers. This home comfortably fit our large group and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking fill meals. The host was there to greet us upon arrival and responsive throughout the trip.

Excellent communication with owner and property manager, very responsive.

On initial listing, hot tub was listed as amenities but this does not exist in the winter months. It is locked during the winter months and you need to drive to use it on the other side of the condo property. This should be clearly written in the property description but was not. **beware** The ski in and out is not for beginner skiiers, the run is closed and is a black to ski out. With the run closed to return, this isn’t really possible to safely get back unless you trek over rocks and streams.
The property itself is good for big groups. Clean. Property manager was helpful.TV is old and outdated , unable to stream.

We had a nice weekend at Whistler but I found the Creekside location too remote for my liking. The house was nice but not great. Will move back closer to the Whistler/Blackcomb village next. It was not really ski in ski out without a big hike

We had two families stay at the property (Four adults and six children). The property manager Ursula was helpful meeting us at the property and making sure we were comfortable. We had a couple upstairs in the master (beautiful with a bath and fireplace), another couple downstairs in a double with it's own bathroom. Then we had four kids downstairs in two bedrooms (one bedroom with a double, and the other with two fulls). The last two kids we put in the den on the pull out sofa sleeper, which was a little tight. Therefore the manager brought us an air mattress for our last two nights stay. The ski in was only about a 5 minute walk to the townhome, and not too difficult to figure out. (Off of Dave Murray run, on the right side when you see the Olympic rings on the left). The ski out was about a 10 minute walk, which was a little harder to figure out and just too long for us with six kids. Therefore we would drive to Creekside and then people would ski in at the end of the day, and the driver would go back to Creekside to drive the car back. All in all good stay, would have been perfect if ski out was easier and there was a hot tub after a long day of skiing.

This townhome in very nice, I wouldn't exactly say LUXURY but its perfect for friends and family wanting to enjoy all that Whistler has to offer. It reminded me of a nice, large mountain cabin. You get that feel from the wide plank wood flooring and the soaring high ceilings finished nicely in cedar. The three rooms downstairs suited our friends nicely except that maintaining a decent temperature was a chore. The one room near the furnace closet was VERY warm all of the time, almost uncomfortable to sleep (had no windows that opened), the other two rooms were a bit chilly but not cold, would have been nice if the fireplace in room two would have functioned. The pilot wouldn't work. Not sure why I tried several time before I gave up. Room three with the two twin beds was the same as two but had no fireplace. Both two and three had nice private decks off the sliders. It was VERY cold so they didn't venture out there while we were in the unit. The Master upstairs was perfect, large jetted tub, fireplace stand up shower stall, double sinks and plenty of closet space for whatever. The kitchen was nice, a bit small but was fine with 5 people meandering around. Plenty of kitchen ware and gadgets to make it feel like home. The living room was ample and the dining table was huge. The entire western side of the home was floor to ceiling windows and had amazing views when the weather cleared. The main deck was large and had one of the two radiant heaters working, made enjoying adult beverages on the deck much nicer. As many prior have stated it is ski in /ski out but there is a bit of a trek. We didn't use it as we skied fresh tracks which starts in the Village and always met up after the day in the Village. Mel and Ursula were great, they manage the property from what I gather. Very responsive to any and all questions. They were also very gracious to allow us to enter the property early as my friends had flown in from Missouri and were tired from the early morning flights.

We stayed in this home for President's day weekend and had a great time. The townhouse is as advertised with a nice living room space and 4 bedrooms + den w/pull out. It snowed heavily while we were there so it was nice to not have to drive to the mountain due to the ski in/out. That made our stay even better! Heads up - no hot tub at the home- not a train smash but worth noting. We ended up going to Scandinave for the day which more than sufficed. The property manager was awesome and met us at the home even after we were delayed several times due to flights. She was very responsive and everything we needed was in the home. Highly recommend!

We stayed over the end of Presidents' Day weekend in 2020 - there were 11 of us in the house, some on aerobeds. We were able to put an aerobed in the master bedroom floor, the balcony/alcove outside the master, and in the media room in the front. Kitchen is small - 2 people working together will bump into each other - but well equipped and with a convenient serving counter. Dining room table is great. Lockable ski storage outside is a convenience. For parking, we put one car in the driveway (the garage at the unit has been converted into the media room / ski storage area so there is not a garage directly at the unit) - there is a separate garage about 50 meters away down the street, and so one car can go in there and another in the driveway behind it. We had guests one night who parked in visitor parking by the garbage shed, but that is hit and miss - we often saw it full, especially on the weekend. There are not directions on how to find the ski-in to Creekside gondola - here's what you do: turn left out of the unit and walk down to the next road, about 100 meters - that's where the garbage shed is - turn left again and walk past the garbage shed and you will see it in about another 100 meters, on the right - it is well marked once you find it. It's a bit of a steep drop onto the very lower part of Dave Murray Downhill to the Creekside gondola. Some of our party also found the ski back off of Franz's - it is marked "Taluswood". The big disappointment for our group was that there is no hot tub in the winter. This is a surprising oversight for a luxury development. I was sure there was a community hot tub in the listing, but when I looked more carefully, it does say "summer months only". I'd really encourage the owner to convince Taluswood management to open this in the winter - for a world-class ski resort like Whistler, it's a shame to have a hot tub and not have it open in the winter. I get that they may not want to heat the pool in the winter, but the hot tub seems like a no brainer. However, despite this, overall a pleasant stay and great for a family.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again in spite of inconsistency in climate control across floors. Common area was super for hanging out. Kitchen well stocked with all you need to make a bang up meal. And our hosts were most accommodating and welcoming— even getting left items back to us! You don't give anything up when you stay by Creekside except longer Gondola lines. Recommend for sure!

The home was very clean and perfect for our weekend away. Big seating area and plenty of room for a large group. 4 minute walk to the downhill on creek side gondola.

It was exactly as advertised. Hot water was turned off when we got there but we easily figured that out. Other than that no issues

Our family of 10 spent Christmas and NY at the townhouse and had a wonderful time. There was enough space for everyone to spend time together and have their own time. The living area is well set up to accomodate and the kitchen ( although a little small) has plenty of crockery etc... to cater for a big family.
Concierge was proactive and responsive
High racked ceiling and imposing views from the verandah, made the living area feel connected to the location.
We could leisurely walk (15mins) to Creekside or ski in. We did find car hire ( Avis Whistler very helpful) handy for longer trips and for overflow taxis prompt.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the townhouse

We stayed at this Taluswood vacation rental from January 1 - January 8, 2017. With three bedrooms downstairs and the master bedroom upstairs the townhome was well configured for our family of 5 and two friends as my wife and I stayed upstairs in the master and the kids were downstairs. The townhome was clean when we arrived and the owner has a contact person that is very friendly and available to assist should you need anything. Nearly everything worked during our stay with the exception of a fireplace located in one of the downstairs bedroom and the icemaker in the freezer section of the refrigerator. There are plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans and other cooking utensils. The wifi worked well as we had no complaints from our kids and we had good cell phone service.
The ski in and ski out is located a short walk from the townhome. The ski in is down a cat track located off the Lower Dave Murray run. Even though this run is listed as a black it is groomed and ski's like a blue. There is a sign on the run that directs you to Taluswood. Our kids are older and goods skiers but I would not recommend the ski in / ski out for beginner skiers.
The only issue we had with the townhome was transportation. We did not rent a car and thought we could walk to the bus stop. During our stay the temperatures were very cold and the road to the bus stop is poorly lit so walking to the bus stop was not an option and we wound up taking cabs to and from the village.
