Relaxing

We had two small families staying for the weekend. The home was spacious and modern, and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Generous breakfast provisions were provided. The home is set on beautiful gardens and has amble parking in a quiet private location off the road. Would definitely recommend for large families or two small families travelling together.

A beautiful large home hidden away. Perfect for a large family to spread out and enjoy themselves. Nearby to attractions & nicely maintained property with everything you need. Greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider returning in the future if we are travelling that way again.

As a group of 8 this property was perfect. The only thing was there were no salad bowls or platters. Otherwise a very well appointed, comfortable and clean house. Thank you.

We found this property a very comfortable quiet place to stay, Nothing we could suggest to improve it, and we much enjoyed all the birds around us.

A lovely quiet property that os very well set up

Liz was an outstanding host, leaving a wonderful breakfast for us, with prompt communication throughout the process and during our stay. The house was immaculate with beautiful linen on comfortable beds, in a lovely quiet spot on the edge of town with loads of birds. I would highly recommend this house as an excellent option for a family or group of friends. Plenty of room located in a great SA town.

Perfect quiet well presented property. Plenty of bird life and even saw an echidna on the property. Very relaxing. Only 1 km from Naracoorte golf course.

Liz's Country Retreat was absolutely perfect for our stay. The house was beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable, The kitchen and living area had ample space for a large family. It was all set in an idyllic country location that was quiet and relaxing, but also five minutes from the hub of Naracoorte. We would highly recommend Liz's retreat. Perfect for a family getaway or romantic weekend away. Thankyou!

A beautiful and spacious house. Beds very comfortable. Ample room in kitchen and dining, and a lovely undercover area outside to enjoy the garden surrounds.

Absolutely lovely property, it was very clean and comfortable for the few days we were there and will definitely be back!!

Our stay at the Naracoorte Country Retreat has been very enjoyable. Thanks to our hosts for an ideal place for us to stay in the Naracoorte region. We went to Bool Lagoon, but was surprised to see the lack of water, and the subsequent lack of bird life, but loved our visit to the "Bird Room" on Bool Lagoon West Rd, with hundreds of birds (stuffed) on display. It is well worth the visit! Also visited the Alexandra Cave - thoroughly enjoyed this, several of the local bakeries and coffee shops - very yummy! Thanks again for the use of the accommodation, it was very clean & comfortable and we loved being able to spread out with use of 4 of the 5 bedrooms. We will certainly recommend it to our friends and families back in Adelaide. Cliff, Stewart, Rob & Ian.

Quit big house with big beds. Clean house all through.... The house is in nice quiet location. The owner is easy to access. We loved the accomodation. We enjoyed the stay. We will use the accomodation when we come back to Naracoorte. Thanks, Liz

Very comfortable accommodation with a relaxing rural outlook. Great location for exploring the caves and wineries in the Naracoorte area and only a few minutes out of town- so very convenient for shopping for supplies. Liz had the fridge stocked with very generous breakfast rations which we appreciated. We also enjoyed the company of a family of magpies each mealtime ( very well mannered!). We really enjoyed our visit thanks Liz- your accommodation met our needs very well.

This was an awesome stay. We got there really late and the lights were on welcoming us. There was also a great selection of breakfast items to include bacon and eggs. Truly above and beyond. My only complaint is we didn't get to stay and enjoy the beautiful house longer!!

We really enjoyed the tranquility and space of the property and both decks were great places to relax. Some more wine glasses would have been helpful though - especially in this beautiful wine-growing district. Visits to the caves were excellent as was Bool Lagoon.

A stunning home with plenty of space for our three couples with all of our needs met and exceeded. A fabulous breakfast of bacon and eggs with bread and trimmings was also supplied which was a welcoming touch after travelling so far Thankyou again.

Hidden only a few minutes outside of the town centre, this house had great facilities including an outdoor kitchen and was really well maintained and clean. With breakfast included on the first morning, it was the ultimate touch and was a generous serving. This is a lovely house for a big family or anyone wanting value for money with cleanliness and great views.

Lovely place to stay. House is wonderful.Stayed with my children and their partners and grand daughter but was plenty of space to spread out and do our own thing. It was very relaxing so much so that some of them fell asleep while reclining outside. Will definitely stay again.
