It's all about the location here. Step onto the white beach from your room. Menu also reasonable with plenty of options and nice seating area overlooking the sea. Perfect place to relax. Everything you really need in a place like this!

Great private room, one of the nicest we have stayed in, great ac but wifi was quite poor but usable. Great social area with many games, food selection was very nice and BBQ each night was great. Was a fire show which was free and some party nights with DJ too. Perfect location for beach, easy to book boats and day was good value for money.

One night music was on till quite late around 1am. Depending on which pier you arrive to, may be a 20 minute sand walk to hostel but not end of world

The private rooms are very good value and comfort vs other similar in the bay. Contrary to Phnom Penh Onederz, here they promote social activities which allows solo travellers to engage.

The prices in the restaurant are a bit too much for what you get. Way lower food quality vs other places nearby. BUT You can eat in the BBQ next door :D 7 seconds walk

Everything, loved having an outdoor gym too. Food, staff and location was great. Offers a relaxing atmosphere but also gives you plenty of opportunity to socialise too.

That you have to pay for refillable water.

It’s the beat place to stay in Koh Rong Sanloem, believe me. The location is amazing, just on the beach, the staff super nice, comfortable beds, good food.

Die Lage des Hostels ist traumhaft direkt am Strand gelegen. Ein Transfer von der Fähre zur Unterkunft wird angeboten. Der Check-In war ganz easy. Die Zimmer sind wirklich toll (Zweitbettzimmer). Die Betten sind sehr groß und bequem, ein Moskitonetz ist auch vorhanden. Im Bad gibt es Shampoo und Duschgel. Die Unterkünfte haben eigene kleine Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Unterkunft hat einen kleinen Outdoor Sportbereich, Chillbereiche mit Hängematten, Billiard und viele andere Dinge zur Unterhaltung. Direkt neben der Unterkunft ist ein kleiner "Supermarkt" der das wichtigste im Angebot hat und dies auch zu Preisen, die in Ordnung sind. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Rooms get sandy as expected with a beach hostel but cleaners were in and out a lot

The location on the beach was perfect. The restaurant, food was tasty and really good price. The beds were really comfy and offer real privacy.

Only two showers had hot water all the other only had cold water.

Il posto è carinissimo, accogliente, comodo, con diversi spazi dove rilassarsi nella zona bar, amache, sdraio, divanetti. Era pulito, lenzuola asciugamani e bagno in ottime condizioni, il dormitorio era piccolo ma comunque ben organizzato, i letti forniti di tendine per la privacy. Aria condizionata accesa tutta la notte.

In generale mi è piaciuto tutto , giusto i prezzi del bar un po' cari.

L’établissement est littéralement sur la plage, ce qui est très agréable Les prix du bar et du restau sont corrects par rapport aux prix de l’île. Chambre calme malgré l’animation du lieu Aller / retour du quai avec le taxi boat de l’hôtel , très pratique

Alles war super! Sehr gute Betten und es wird sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt. Keinerlei Insekten im Zimmer. Super Programmangebot und sehr gute Lage. Kostenloser Boot-Taxi-Service vom Pier.

Es wäre hier schön, wenn es einen Tisch für die Neuankommenden gäbe, an welchen man sich setzen kann, um Kontakte zu knüpfen. Heutzutage will man ja nicht einfach stören wenn die Menschen vertieft stundenlang über den Smartphones hängen.

Amazing hostel in Saracen Bay, we stayed there for NYE and ended up extending for a full week. Our room was a 6 mixed dorm and it was great, every bed had: a lil curtain, a plug, a light, a fan and a locker. AC was available from 9pm till 10am. The whole hostel had a great vibe: a massive common area with a big bar, loads of seats, sofa and swings, free games (ping pong, beer pong, connect 4,…), a great beach at the front, a gym (with some free weights, bars for pull ups,…), loads of chilling area, super clean bathroom,… The staff were all super friendly and amazing, and shout out to all the lovely ladies cleaning, it was spotless!! Food was nice and cheap. I recommend trying the barracuda on the BBQ, so good! Also I recommend doing the boat trip they offer: it was so fun (snorkeling, fishing, sunset bar, BBQ and a bit of dancing too :) )

L'emplacement est vraiment les pieds dans l'eau. Proche des ports d'arrivée avec bateau navette gratuit qui vous emmène et vous ramène Pas mal de bars et restos pour s'amuser si on veut, direct sur place ou à côté, thème différent. Dortoir plutôt confortable pour le prix

C'est blindé de gens donc même si il y a des transats à dispo c'est bien chargé Ça reste une auberge de jeunesse dans un coin très festif, donc attendez vous à une ambiance sympa mais un peu boumboum bling bling Aucune visibilité dans l'eau qui est assez basse (privilégiez l'autre côté de l'île si c'est ce que vous recherchez).

The beach front hostel was really great! We arrived from the pier and caught the free shuttle boat service over. The staff were always super friendly and welcoming! Good food options and room itself was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend when staying in Koh rong sanloem

There was an incident with another guest which I asked to be resolved but I feel like I wasn’t listened to by the hostel staff. One of the guests directly aimed and shot fireworks at us whilst they were drunk. No one was harmed but it could have very easily gone the other way. I don’t think the staff dealt with the complaint made against the other guest

I am sorry to say that it is quite expensive for what they offer- It should Be renovated - very old and outside not comfortable and neither nice - I had to go there from the pier walking- nobody came at the pier to pick me and it took me 45 minutes to arrive by the the beach from the pier as there are no streets there - this is not at all a good welcome for a place so difficult to reach and it changes all the idea of the place that you can have before

Het hostel ligt op een fijne plek aan het strand. In de buurt nog wat andere eettentjes. Het hostel heeft een lekker restaurant en een mooie binnentuin waar je kan relaxen.

De douches waren koud en om 22.00 uur ‘s avonds tot 09.00u ‘s ochtends gaat de airco op de kamer uit, dan is het alsnog best warm, maar vooral wat muffig op de kamer. De kamer had wat schoner gemogen.

Everything was going great until we tried to check out and were told by a member of staff at reception (a young lad) that due to a storm there would be no more boats leaving the island and that we had no choice but to pay $28 for 2 new tickets on a boat that was leaving in the next 20 minutes. In the panic of missing our other buses etc. we paid but the staff member took our other return boat tickets away from us for some reason? We got to the pier waiting for the boat to take us off the island and contacted the Speedboat Company (who we had booked our return boat with) to ask why they had not informed us of cancelled boats and he was so confused, informing us that our boat was still available to take as normal… he offered us a refund if we gave him our tickets back for resell, but conveniently our tickets had been taken by the hostel even though they had nothing to do with the old tickets. After explaining to the boat man what a stress this has been he was kind enough to ask what hostel we stayed in and he spoke to the manager, details of this are unclear as the boat man came back to us apologetic and saying the hotel clearly wanted to make an easy $56 out of us by not only selling us new tickets but also retaining our old ones to sell to some other poor person. Luckily the boat man knew the manager and was able to get his money back and therefore refund us the money but be careful if you are randomly rushed off your feet and told to pay for new tickets and run to the pier before you miss the only boat!!!

the location was great and it seemed to be the place to stay. it was clean

The menu for a specialist diet (vegan) is very limited and the bread tasted old. Whilst some of the staff smile and are polite, others could do with some customer service training. On the whole in Cambodia I have found the people extremely welcoming, friendly and polite unfortunately it didn’t seem to extend to this island and this property.
