Our second stay with Mauro he is a brilliant host nothing is to much trouble for him. The apartment is very clean and full of gadgets like PS3, flat screen TV, wifi etc. We loved to sit on the balcony looking over Lake Garda. Comfortable bed , nice kitchen and bathroom we stayed in 118, Short walk along lakeside to Garda with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars. Our Grandchildren stopped in 318 and they loved the pool and pizzeria. Already booked for next year.

5 min walk in to Garda, easy access to lake via a private tunnel. Large apartment with seperate room with bunk beds for kids. Lots of extras such as Xbox, PlayStation, 2 telly's, fully equipped kitchen. Full laundry available in the building. Massive swimming pool and cafe in grounds but that's s good 5 min walk up hill. Mauro was amazing though. Really attentive and helpful from the moment I booked to after he dropped us st the bus station. Over and above. He had great local knowledge and really helped when we got stuck on train bookings. A great holiday made all the better by Mauro and his awesome helpful nature.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und vollständig eingerichtet. Durch den getrennten Schlafraum mit eigenem Bad und Fernsehgerät haben sich auch unsere beiden Teenager sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Pool, der fast die Größe eines Freibads hat, muss man ein paar Minuten gehen. Der Pool ist aber traumhaft und es ist sogar eine Pizzeria daneben. In die Ortsmitte von Garda ist es ein schöner Spaziergang am Ufer entlang. Wir waren schon mehrere Male am Gardasee und haben jetzt in dieser Anlage unseren Lieblingsplatz gefunden.

Everything the 5/5 reviewers say about this location and about Mauro is absolutely true. We are here now 3 days in to a weeks holiday and we are loving it. Mauro has arranged our airport transfers, given us a guided tour, recommended restaurants and booked our train tickets to Venice. He is fab and so is the place. Hope we'll be back.

The main hall of the building looked a bit dated, but the apartment itself was great. It was equipped very well. The building was located close to the Garda town - in walking distance - but far enough to not be disturbed by any noise. The owner was the best and most helpful host we've ever met. I would recommend it to everybody.

This was the second visit to Mauro's apartment and we are planning a third. Fabulous location, great value, superb host (can't do enough for you), wonderful facilities up the hill - the pizzaria is one of my favourite places in the world to sit and watch the sun go down. The apartment is clean, tidy, well equipped and ideal for us with 2 teenage daughters as they get their own bedroom and more importantly, their own bathroom. The walk into town along the edge of the lake is relaxed with breathtaking views across the lake. Can't wait to go back - again!

We spent a wonderful week at Mauro's apartment. The location is great and the apartment is very comfortable and fully equipped. Mauro's devotion and dedication cannot be taken for granted. He is always there to help and assist in any way he can.

We are a family with two children (aged 4 and 5) and we stayed in the apartment for 10 days in August 2013. The apartment was great - clean and homely, well furnished (including a well stocked kitchen and lots of DVDs) and had perfect space for a family holiday, with a separate bedroom (with bunks) and second shower room. Mauro was really welcoming and friendly, and couldn't be more helpful. He'd left drinks, fruit, bread etc in the fridge for our arrival and had arranged a transfer each way from Verona airport. Once we were in Garda we didn't need a car as we used local buses and ferries which was easy. There is a bus stop right outside the apartments and the ferry was a 10 minute walk away. We did some great day trips to Sirmioni, Torri del Benaco, Lazise and Bardolino - all lovely towns - and enjoyed strolling into Garda town in the evening to eat dinner by the lake, where there was a large choice of restaurants. We were surprised at how much time we also spent at the pool, which was great - the kids loved it. The pizzeria on site also had good food and wonderful views over the olive groves, hills and lake. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great place to stay. Apartment was clean, tidy and extremely comfortable. Easy access to the beautiful lake and Garda town. We would recommend a visit to the bakers in Garda - superb range of pastries and breads. We stayed for 2 weeks and also went to Venice, Verona and Monte Baldo. The apartment had everything we needed and what we didn't have Mauro, the owner provided immediately. Great place to relax, although the pool is quite a steep walk from the apartment. We had a fantastic time and can't recommend Mauro and the apartment highly enough. I have no doubts that we will visit again. Thank you!

Excellent communication and arrival instructions from Mauro. Warm and informative welcome. Spacious and well serviced apartment although the kitchen area is a little cramped it functioned well. Lovely environment. Be prepared to work for a quarter of an hour to do shopping. Swimming pool and lake access is superb. Very quiet and relaxing inside the apartment complex. Would certainly return - and will!

The apartment was very large and we had come with friends. Nearly e4verything you could need was waiting for us including milk, drinks and fruit etc. The first night we got caught in a thunderstorm. On returning to the complex Mauro was waiting for us with 4 large towels. The rest of the week was hot but unfortunately I tripped and hurt myself. Mauro offered to take me to the doctors as they couldn't speak English. It wasn't necessary but the consideration he gives to his visitors is the best we have ever received in 30 odd years of holidaying in France and Italy. The apartment has TV, DVD and games for children so is ideal for a family. Should we ever return to Lake Garda we would certainly consider re-booking. Smith family and friends

All the descriptions given about these rental apartments are completely accurate, the apartments were very clean, well equipped and close to the lake. The town of Garda is about a 10 minute walk from the apartments, with a great choice of restaurants and shops. The owner Mauro, was extremely helpful and kind towards me and my family and we enjoyed our stay so much that we are coming back in 2013. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to anyone wishing to visit Italy.

Have to say I choose this property based on the reviews it received from other travellers and their high praise of Mauro. Well were they all perfectly true and he really proved his dedication to his guests with us. We tested him to the limit. We hired a car (which wasn’t really necessary as there were buses to anywhere you wished to go) but had planned on going to Venice, Milan etc. We had problems with the car and Mauro to the rescue. He collected us when we were stranded 30km away and also made all the phone calls to ensure we got another car which was brilliant as we do not speak Italian and then drove us another 30km to get then new car. A real hero and no charge!!It was like having a best friend on holidays with you always there when you need him but never in the way. I stayed in apt 228 with my husband and 3 young teenagers. It was a really large building with big wide corridors and perhaps a bit dated. But what it lacked in décor it made up for in location and privacy. This is a really great place to stay, the location was perfectly central; the apartment was roomy, clean and extremely well equipped. It had EVERYTHING, Xbox, games, at least 100DVD’s, air conditioning and a computer with free internet access. It was a short safe scenic stroll to the town of Garda, the beach and to the pool. The underground passage to the beach was excellent, the scenery was breath taking. The beach was brilliant (no sand) lots of pebbles so I would recommend some type of water shoes, it also get deep quite quickly. There were lots of attractions for teenagers, Garland, Park Jungle Adventure and Funivia were the ones we enjoyed most. We went to the Caneva water park but I would not recommend it, as I thought a lot of the rides were unsafe, left us bruised and it was very poorly staffed compared to other water parks I’ve visited. I would and have highly recommended this property to anyone who will listen to me Thanks Mauro for a lovely stay, you're a star
