Magnificent view, very helpful and friendly hosts in a comfortable home with great pool area. As an extended family, we thoroughly our week at Tregole which included a fantastic wine tasting on the premises followed by a delicious lunch. Edith and Sophie are superb hosts!

Our stay at Tregole was fantastic. Edith and Sophie are so pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend booking a dinner by Edith, a wine tasting, a cooking lesson, etc. that they offer. The view was stunning. I hope that we will be able to return again soon.

There are a few bugs at dusk. If you are prone to bites like me, bring spray or pick some up at the pharmacy.

Wonderful place , excellent location , far from the daily noise . Quiet , comfortable , excellent breakfast. Wonderful hospitality of owners ( Edith & Sophie - Thank you very much !) . Very good wine and excellent food on Monday ( Pizza evening ) and Wednesday ( Tuskany evening ) . Very nice swimming pool . Many trees and little wind ( location on th e hill) ensure comfortable temperature ,

Tregole is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany that offers so many options to those hoping to get an immersive experience in the area. The owner Elsie is very friendly and accommodating as she always made herself available to provide the inside scoop on the best wineries, restaurants and other spots to check out in the area. The property is centrally located, the rooms are gorgeous, as are the views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside. There's also a restaurant on the property that offers pasta-making classes and has a great menu that is true to the food of the region. Tregole itself is also a winery and offers one of the most unique and historical wine tours that you can find in Tuscany. My wife and I did the tour and it was above and beyond anything a typical wine tour will give you. Led by Tuscany tour guide and author Dario Castagno, the tour offers an in-depth look into the history of Chianti winemaking, tracing it back to some of the earliest civilizations to settle in Italy. You leave the tour with a fascinating sense of not only why the wine from Chianti is so good, but also why winemaking is so important to the region's culture. And of course, ample amounts of wine are provided along the way. With its array of unique experiences and beautiful location, you cannot find a better place to stay in Chianti than Tregole.
