No Wi-Fi

The biggest and only positive of this place is its location. It's practically ski in / out next to the base gondola of Les Grands Montets - arguably the best mountain at Chamonix if you crave steep wide mountain with no grooming. Also, there is a locker room for skis.

The checkin was not great since the host was not answering the email during the day, the property manager number went to voicemail and no one was present at the agreed time. I had to find a different number in my emails and wait about 15-20 minutes until the host arrived with keys while freezing outside. They also tried to collect a "cleaning fee" during the checkout although it wasn't mentioned in the description or any prior communication (we were leaving place in a good shape). Just charge more for per night. This should be known upfront. They also want to get some cash (deposit), no receipt given. They also don't provide linens/towels by default. Strange but maybe it's a French thing - at least they mentioned it before our arrival and rented some to us. There were also no toilet paper if you expect that. This place also doesn't have wifi. To be fair - it is in the description but frankly, it's such a necessity that most people take it for granted and not even check for that. The cleanliness was average, some mugs and silverware were dirty. The place is also pretty small, the main bedroom has very low ceiling so you can't stand up there straight. There is no washing machine. Overall, I would not use this property again. The location is good but the Chamonix Valley has a really good bus system so the next time I would just prioritize staying close to a bus station and pick a nicer place instead. Our friends stayed 5 min walk away in a cheaper and nicer place that had wifi and washing machine... I would keep this review more positive if the checkout experience wasn't really unpleasant.

The apartment is just next to the ski lift in the Argentiere. The parking lot is just in front of the apartment. The view from the apartment is great.

It was brilliant experience staying there. Everything was excellent. Only problem we found was, it was difficult to locate La Verte at midnight. And as advertised, there was no support was available. After bit of struggle we found La Verte and rest of the stay was brilliant. Thanks
