Came to town for my 50th reunion. Found this gem of a property nestled in trees close to the water. The owner Vhey, was there to greet us and show us around. The inside of the bungalow was quaint and clean; decorated perfectly and had every accommodation we could have asked for. The basket with drinks and cheese and crackers were over the top. I loved the environmentally safe products she used and you could tell she invested much time and attention to every detail to make this our top pick of a place to come back! Thank you, Vhey, for making these 4 days a piece of heaven on earth❤️

We had a relaxing time sitting on the deck in the sunshine, watching the tide come in. The property is very nice and quiet. Vhey (one of the owners) is very nice and personable. We had a few conversations with her and enjoyed each one. Cute getaway home away from home.

Our stay was terrific and we enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage. Took advantage of the wonderful deck including listening to the birds while doing yoga.

We loved staying at the cottage! The accommodations were spectacular. Plenty of room for us. Excellent kitchen, bedroom, bath, etc. And the surrounding grounds were beautiful. We’ll definitely stay there again! Thanks Vhey and Mark for your hospitality and sharing your lovely cottage.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the bungalow. The view was nice and relaxing. Vhey went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had everything we needed down to the smallest detail.

So we got married June 3rd about (a little over 3 weeks ago) and I told my husband I would love to see my birth area! It just so happened to be in Bremerton Washington! I knew nothing about the area and just started checking out Air b&bs!! I found 1 with a walk in shower and because my husband is disabled I choose it! Oh my!!!! When I say it was the right choice, it was exactly what we wanted from the view of Puget Sound bay to the many extras that were provided by the hosts and what very sweet, accommodating hosts they were!!! The cottage was clean, very cozy and quite exactly what we were looking for! Mrs. V had a bottle of sparkling apple cider as we don’t drink - some VERY yummy cheese and crackers and chocolate bars that were fantastic! We were there 17 days and I will never forget this little slice of heaven off of Puget Sound! Thank you Mark and Vhey for a very pleasant surprise in this remote area of the Sound because we found out it was exactly where we needed to be! Oh and we went fishing 🎣!!!!!! Sooooo much fun!!! If you want a quite getaway this is a wonderful place! Thanks again Vhey and Mark for your hospitality!

Spotless, nicely situated, tranquil retreat. Vhey and Mark took great care of us. There was excellent communication and they were thoughtful and kind. Rented this property as a little get away with my daughter as she was injured and we could not go out of the country as planned. She loved the peaceful environment, watching the tide come in and birds, and the cozy home. Really just what we needed. Highly recommend this lovely bungalow and welcoming hosts.

Relaxing getaway. Comfortable. No dogs barking. Not too far from Safeway and restaurants. Enjoyed watching the tide coming in and going out. Birds and ducks outside. Coffee pot and French roast coffee!!!! Would like to visit again.

Easy owner communication, liberal cancellation policy, great location, lovely landscape and big deck, well outfitted kitchen, comfortable bed; warmest and most thoughtful greeting we have ever received - bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, delicious chocolate and beautiful welcome note. Hosts are beyond thoughtful and considerate, really great people!

We cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our time at this tranquil location. Beautiful home quite covered all of our needs, cool quiet nights in a comfortable bed, tranquil evenings with a glass of wine on "Kingfisher Bay", cooking delicious seafood in a well-appointed kitchen! Vhey and Mark are gracious hosts, and their property is centrally located on the Kitsap Penisula. We are looking forward to a return visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 days stay at this cute bungalow on the water. They provided everything I needed including a special greeting of wine , cheese and crackers and chocolate just as they advertise. Everything was comfortable and clean, but most amazing were the rhododendrons in full bloom in view from the living room and from the deck with the bay just steps away. If you plan on kayaking be sure and check out the tide table chart on the refrigerator, very helpful. I would love to stay here again in the future!

Absolutely perfect, quiet and convenient

Vhey and Mark were attentive yet respectful hosts of this amazing bungalow! The cottage is very clean, well appointed with necessities and cozy. As a writer, such a peaceful oasis was exactly what I needed.

Upon arriving, we found the bungalow in a quiet location with a shoreline view of the sound. The bungalow appears to be recently remodeled and everything was sparkling clean which was important to us. The hosts frequently asked if there was anything we needed but were never intrusive. We will definitely consider the bungalow in the future.

My stay here was like a dream. The owners have created a beautiful little hideaway with every amenity anticipated. I love the modern cottage core aesthetic with an airy yet cozy vibe.

Pictures don't do it justice, because the property is absolutely beautiful and exceeded all my expectations. The location was fantastic, just minutes away from stores and the ferry, yet felt miles away from the hustle and bustle. Vhey was also very attentive and friendly and the little touches made the bungalow feel like home. I would happily rent this place again!

I had a wonderful 6 week stay and cannot recommend this property highly enough. The location is exactly as listed, just like the pictures. It’s a wonderful place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the scenery, sunset, and wildlife. Vhey and Marc are perfect hosts. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Perfect location if you are meeting up with Navy family member, we were so close to base and easy to do all the touristy stuff from the ferry! Cottage has a beautiful deck ,and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable furniture and a very relaxing vibe. Highly recommend! Our host was very responsive yet we felt we had great privacy.

Vhey and Mark were extremely wonderful hosts. Everything was just perfect. They had many thoughtful items for guests use, welcomed us with a 5 star greeting! This bungalow was truly a "little slice of heaven" here on earth 🌎!

If you are searching for a quiet idyllic cottage by the water to spend your vacation in, look no further than this home. My wife and I recently moved from Nevada and needed a place to rest our heads while we searched for our home in Bremerton. The property that Mrs. V has here is comforting and inviting. Not only is the view breathtaking no matter the time of day but the comforts that she has thought of for our stay are thoughtful as well. I have loved how in touch with nature you can get during your stay here, you can observe the beauty of nature but it also affords you enough space to be respectful of the wildlife. 

Everything that you could possibly need is thought of by Mrs. V and her husband and it’s all organic so allergies and other sensitivities are considered and respected. My time here was perfect and I would change nothing from my stay. By booking here you are guaranteed a wonderful stay with a soundtrack of birds and rustling leaves to punctuate the beauty.

Stayed here for a month on business. Perfect setup with sufficient wifi, close to restaurants, grocery etc. On top of all that very peaceful setting and comfortable inside with everything I needed and more. Hosts were very nice, had a few interesting conversations with Mark and found we had alot in common yet not intrusive at all. I would stay here again and bring the wife next time. We had to cancel our trip to see family over the holidays because of COVID but decided we still needed some kind of getaway. This was absolutely perfect! Vhey and Mark were wonderful and very responsive to anything we sent. The place is clean, comfortable and had all of the perfect little touches. We were able to explore the area and balance with a good deal of relaxation with a view. Thank you for wonderful hospitality and allowing us the gift of rest and rejuvenation.

I needed to get out of the house where I could relax and do work without being bothered. I settled on this home since it was driving distance and somewhat secluded. SUPER clean, easy check in, hosts were very attentive and answered promptly, but also left me alone. It was summer so around 3pm to 9pm it does get hot, have to open the windows at night to cool it down a bit. There is an oscillating fan I carried around from living room to bedroom when needed. Great views of a lake. Lots of birds. Felt serene inside. The water from the sinks are filtered and tasted good so that was also a plus.

We wanted a few days of absolute quiet. The house had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. The home was spotless. Local cheese and wine were waiting for us. Organic soaps and snacks were a nice touch. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. (Softer than what I’m used to, but great.) The porch, landscaping, and water was exactly as seen in the pictures. Experiencing high and low tides was a first for us. Games, puzzles, and movie were available. We highly recommend this lovely place.
