Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a three story rental. I am a 100% disabled vet and we had stayed there before. During the last stay I saw that the rental had an elevator but was locked. So, for the second time, I sent the rental company a copy of my combat disability and requested the use of the elevator. I was told I would have to pay a $300 deposit for damage and would receive instruction. Upon arrival, the elevator was locked. I text the company and received a call the next day informing me that I would have to pay $300 for the use, not a deposit. The place is nice and a good location, but if you are disabled, be ready to shell out $300 "for the convenience of your disability".

The House could have used a better cleaning before we arrived, washer had a musty smell, dryer took a while to get things dried (both could stand to be replaced). Would love to have had access to a grill.

Other than those few negatives, the place was perfect for what we needed. All the teens had the mother in law suite downstairs and enjoyed having their own place together. Good number of bathrooms for the number of people sharing the house. Other than the few negatives above, would definitely recommend.

When we first arrived at the home we pulled up and there was garbage out by the road over flowing comdoms on the ground the inspector woman said it was not ready yet that the cleaning crew did not do a good enough job. We waiting for over an hour the inspector lwt us in and they said they would send a cleaning crew out. Never did! Long drive about 19hrs from Michigan, so we went to sleep right after dinner. Next morning husband walks out on back balcony. Cuts his foot on glass!!! We call the company. She first asks we why I didn't report the glass sooner. Like our family had a big bash or something. Finally after waiting on hold for over 45min some cleaning crew shows up at the house to clean up the glass on the back balconies. Also, tell us about how the people left it a mess the night before. Also there are alot of expensive fees for cleaning ect... especially when it was not cleaning. Pics with time stamps if needed!!

The condo was very nice and spacious. Convenient to local restaurants and has the perfect view of the beach. We did however have an issue with ants located in all the bathrooms. The balcony doors were hard to lock and unlock and the smoke detector started beeping at 2:00 am due to the battery going dead.

The location of the property was great, the. Bedroom with the twin beds was smaller than what I was imagining. I agree with everything that reviewer Jessica said that left a review on aug. 10, 2021.. we checked in on aug. 11 2021… check in was after 4, the room with the twin beds was smaller with no tv, the dryer lint thing tore up a couple bathing suits, a tank top etc… the washing machine was disgusting it had mold around the rim… there was trash left behind the bed in the bedroom on the main level. Oh and the outside trash was over flowing and we had just arrived on Saturday and were responsible for taking it to the street for Tuesday morning pickup..Now the good stuff beach access was perfect, the house was good except for the minor issues discussed above. Location was good.

We were happy with the ease of booking, the hospitality app and check-in was available right on time with a code (despite learning that 4:00 checkin wouldn’t be guaranteed & would have a window from 4:00-7:00). We had issues with the doors not latching/locking on the bottom floor which was a security concern and it took several days for a locksmith to remedy the issue. The dryer lint catcher was broken/jagged and ripped a bathing suit and a couple of towels. This was not fixed during our stay and the property management don’t offer to reimburse for our damaged item or inconvenience of unusable appliance. Recommend bringing dryer bags if this issue hasn’t been fixed. Beyond these maintenance issues, the property was extremely convenient to the beach and nearby grocery options with a beautiful unobstructed beach view. The main level of the home was great for gathering as a group with an open floor plan with kitchen, dining and comfortable sectional. One big disappointment was no table or extra chairs to gather on the deck as a group to enjoy a meal or the view. We found it odd that a house that sleeps 12 only had 2 Adirondack chairs on the deck. None of the backside of the house decks had any seating. The double bunk room was basically a closet and too tight for our teens to use it. Might work fine for younger kids but our teens preferred the pullout couch in the ground floor. We’d recommend moving a bunk set to the big ground floor living space which would make the top floor room more comfortable. No TVs in the main level king room or the bunk room. The house did not have any beach chairs, so plan accordingly. We would recommend the home but a few extras could make the home even better.

We spent a week here with a family of 12. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The walk to the beach was so convenient. Would stay here again.

This property was everything we were wanting and more! The location was perfect. The beach was easily accessible across the street and was very secluded and private. There was no issue with finding a beach front spot for all of our stuff and kiddos. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. It was such a great time and we plan to come back next year! The ONLY issue we had was not having hot water for every one to shower. He tried to stagger baths/showers but still never had enough hot water. We all pretty much took lukewarm warm showers and baths the entire trip.

The only complaint I have is there was food crumbs and sand at the edge of the couch in the living area. Other than that we enjoyed our stay the property was very nice and just across the road from the beach.

We took a much needed break from quarantine with two of our adult children and their families. The grandkids, 4, 6 and 7 had plenty of room to hang out and the proximity to the beach is perfect. The unit is beautifully decorated, well designed and high quality all around. I highly recommend it!

The home is beautiful with only minor issues. Upon checkout, the housekeeper was thrilled to see we were washing the unit's towels AND leaving lysol cleaning supplies/Tide pods. While doing so, I was charged $150 for staying a few mins past checkout time of 10AM.

The house was beautiful. Just a few things I didn’t care for. The first, it seems like the property management company has a lot of fine print in their agreement. Read it carefully. One of the things being that the checkin is 4pm BUT it can be delayed. It doesn’t say how long it can be delayed. I feel it’s pretty unprofessional of a company to ask people to check out at 10am and not be able to guarantee a 4pm check in. The next thing is the house is beautiful, just like the pics, but many essentials in the kitchen werent there such as wine glasses, champagne flutes, Saran Wrap, only 3 extra trash bags, etc. I’ve rented lots of homes around the world but this is my first vrbo so maybe those things aren’t common. Idk. With that being said the views on the top balcony are fantastic, the ac worked without issues the whole time, the decor and interior of the home was clean and modern. I’m very happy with the house as a whole. Also the beach is awesome!! Hardly anyone there and very clean.

Wonderful location, directly across the street from 2 beach access spots. Communication with rental group was swift for the maintenance issues we had.

Our stay was not awesome. We arrived to find our home double booked and that the housekeeper had let the other people into the house. We stayed in another home overnight and then moved into the other side of the duplex we had originally rented. After one night in the house we found there to be an ant infestation in the upstairs back facing bedroom. The next day we found there to be some sort of water leak from the shower in the upstairs gulf facing bathroom. The next day the ants were back and to boot the Ac for the upper 2 floors was not functioning properly. We spent 3 nights with a malfunctioning Ac unit for the 2 upper floors. And after repairs to the bathroom the leak remained, dripping on the dining room table from time to time. We have been vacationing in the PCB area for years now and have never had this many things go wrong--over the past 20 years. I love PCB, it is my happy place! We were all very displeased with our Blue Swell experience. I am also aware that there was another issue of "double booking" for our original unit--so on that note I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and see if that is appropriate business dealings. I think for you guys to have a one time glitch is one thing but a pattern of glitches and to quite possibly ruin someone else's vacation like ours is unacceptable. The on call staff and others were diligent about trying to fix our issues, we just continued to have one problem after another for the entire week, therefore making the entire experience stressful and frustrating.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach area was all but private. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again. A couple of things could be looked into to make this place simply AMAZING. Water does back up in the shower. And there is no grill. One of the back doors does not lock. Those are simple fixes to make this place top notch.

The home was lovely and everything we thought it would be. The only issue was the property management company we were there 3 nights without wifi after 15 calls to the agency. They came and fixed it on the last night and promised a partial refund and never received it.

However we had sewage issues from day 1, had been notified to limit water usage for the entire stay. There was also water leaking from upstairs bathroom into the downstairs ceiling to the dining table. We had a big group of 12 and all grown kids so imagine the difficulty to manage shower and laundry after beach, overall stay was very unpleasant due to these issues. The management company did not respond to my requests to resolve the issues. They also randomly charged an amount to my credit card (in addition to the total rental fees) without prior communication, discussion and authorization. When I called the management company number the guy who answered the phone said he was just responsible for booking but not resolving issues, and said manager should be calling me but he/she never did. I never posted any negative feedback online, but thought that I had given enough time and attempts trying to resolve. I have had 2 other families who we were renting the property together and they all consent that we should post this feedback. I've also seen two other negative feedback for this property/management company since two weeks ago so we wee not the only one who ran into issues.
