Great property. Only drawback was the train going by at 4am. Also, could use some steak knives. Might want to let other people that stay there know that there are cleaning supplies in the upstairs closet. We ran out of dish tabs and bought some, not knowing that there were 2 full tubs upstairs.

We went away for a short four night get-away. Everything was perfect. The house was very quant and charming. It had all the amenities we needed for a convenient and relaxing stay. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and relaxing on the patio and upstairs balcony. The town's people were very friendly. Several nice shops and restaurants, with a huge recommendation not to leave Cumberland without eating at the Ristorante Ottaviani. Service, food and ambiance could not be beat. We also enjoyed the Frostburg Flyer during our stay. This was a perfect mixture of fun and relaxation.

This is our second stay at this location. It is close to many fun food options, shopping and other activities. The house is clean, quiet and well managed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this renovated house close to pedestrian streets of shops & restaurants. Beautiful kitchen & bathroom-pictures don’t do them justice. Skylights in upstair rooms bring in great natural light. Loved it!

We could not have asked for better. First and foremost, thank you to Heidi and Matt for listing this home and for being wonderful hosts! We read all the reviews prior to booking, and we have to say there was nothing in the reviews that wasn’t typical of an older house. That said, the home has been renovated in an amazing fashion and we love that architecture. We did not hear the trains and felt so relaxed while ‘home’ away from home. Matt and Heidi were so responsive and so tolerant. I could not, for the life of me, get the jets on the shower to work. This was my fault, but Matt so patiently walked me through it on FaceTime (thank you). The bathroom is, indeed, the highlight of the stay. The tub is huge and the shower is what I have decided I want when I remodel my bathroom. It has a sauna, rain shower, targeted jets, and more! Pure Heaven! The location is ideal! At the corner is a tavern and cafe that has the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Downtown is a few blocks away eliminating the need for driving. And there is a Catholic and Methodist church on competing corners. Thank you again and we will definitely return the next time we come ‘home’!

Very comfortable, clean, well-appointed home close to the cultural/dining downtown of Cumberland. Perfect location for trips to the surrounding natural areas, too.

Great spot for two couples participating in the tracks and yaks adventure and exploring Frostburg and Cumberland. Owners were very responsive. The house was very clean as well. All in all a fun weekend

Love the location! Proximal to everything, right in walking distance. The townhome is very cute in how it is furnished and decorated. The Corner Cafe down the street makes a great breakfast and lunch- very convenient. Great shower! The place was surface clean but is due for a deep clean. Nonetheless, I would (& likely will) stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked. Very easy check in, parking right in front of house, and a great location for everything we wanted to do. Great communication with hosts. Walking distance to some cute restaurants. Loved our week in Cumberland and found plenty of fun activities to do. Thanks for a great experience!

Easy access to downtown. Lovely skylights in the bedrooms. Clean and bright. The kitchen was very well stocked for our visit and we cooked a lot.

Matt and Heidi have done a great job to prepare their house for guests. A huge spa bathroom and large bedrooms upstairs with a choice of mattress firmness. Lots of extra towels and extras. Big eat-in kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our breakfasts. We were out for most of the days, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor spaces - two covered porches and back yard. We had to be careful of the stairs and uneven levels of floors. Every room upstairs has a step up or down of a few inches. It made it interesting to remember all the changes at night, even though there is an automatic light that comes on overhead in the hall. The bedrooms both have skylights which made it light and bright by 6 am. Overall a great stay.

This house is great! There is plenty of space and everything was super clean. Communication with the owners was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Two couples in town to enjoy Traks and Yaks and the area. Home was clean and had two great bedrooms. Other reviews mention a well equipped kitchen, we found virtually empty cabinets, made cooking a little tricky. Would love outdoor furniture for 4 to enjoy the balcony. Great location for walking the town and dinner or breakfast. Be aware this is a train town and they run constantly close by. Cute property for a short stay. Met Matt the owner and was a very nice guy.

We had a perfect weekend stay with our friends for the Cumberland Wine Festival. Walking distance to downtown was a huge plus. The house was furnished nicely and the main bathroom was just amazing!

We loved our stay at this property! The house was spotless, spacious, bright, and charming. The skylights really lit up the second floor. The luxury bathroom was a real treat. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a meal. We did not have a chance to enjoy the second floor porch because of the weather, but it would be lovely in the warmer months of the year. Location was very walkable to the town center and the GAP/C&O trail. Would definitely return!

This was a perfect weekend getaway for our anniversary. Far enough away to enjoy a quiet evening in, but close enough to walk to restaurants and entertainment. By the way the apples off the apple tree were delicious!

The home was perfect for the four of us - two couples. We each had a large comfortable bedroom, one with a balcony. The home has been remodeled and is very nice. Love the skylights. We didn't cook, but the kitchen is well supplied and inviting. We were in town for a wedding, so most of our time was at that celebration. The location was perfect for walking: to the restaurants, stores, canal. The pedestrian street was a welcome surprise with the flowers, art, fountains, seating. We walked a lot, but look forward to coming back because there is more to see and do than we were able to fit in. And the fall weather was perfect.
