House was clean and neat a little musty parking was different but ok

Me, my husband, and 2 young adult children really enjoyed our week at the Pond House. The outside space with kayaks and pedal boat for the pond and fire-pit were perfect. The house was as advertised with plenty of room for 4 people. The bathroom was updated with plenty of towels. It was a short drive to Luzerne and Fourth Lakes to rent a boat for catching fish. Lake George is only a 20 minute drive for shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed rail bikes at Hadley Station. Diane was very responsive when the circuit breaker tripped. She was at the house in minutes. We’d be happy to visit again next time we are in the Adirondacks.

We absolutely loved our week on the pond!!! The house was cute but the outside was amazing!!!! Loved the dam landing with the peddleboat and kayaks!!! So much to do just at home - without even leaving! Kayaked, swam, and had fires. Thank you so much for this family week before our oldest heads back to college!

Property was just as described. No complaints and no issues during our stay. My two teens enjoyed the kayaks, peddle boat and even caught some fish. Lazy River Tubby Tubing was fun and close by and highly recommend the Long Horn Restaurant for dinner. Diane was very nice and checked on us during our stay.

We loved our stay at The Pond House ! The house it’s self was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were VERY comfortable. Had all of the comforts of home. What really sold us was the outdoor space, and we used every inch of it. We grilled hamburgers in the gazebo and cooked hotdogs and s’mores at the fire pit. We enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the pond in the Adirondack chairs and played ladder ball in the yard. We ended everyday either in the gazebo or around the fire pit . The best part was the pond. We spent a lot of time on the water. It was so beautiful, quiet and surprisingly very clear. My husband and son used the kayaks, and my sons girlfriend and I brought our own paddle boards . Swimming was so nice, the water was perfect. The house is close to a lot of fun things. Tubby Tubes was a nice tubbing trip. 9 hole golf course very nice. The town of Lake George is a short drive away. Boat rental on lake George was the highlight of the trip. So many fun things to do. We would definitely go back again !!!

We had a very nice time in spite of nasty weather for most of our week. The house was as described and pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. Although we were unable to use the pond there were 2 kayaks and a peddle boat as promised with life jackets available in the shed. All in all we had a very nice visit with family and friends and the house was all that was promised.

Property is perfect for an active family with a pet. A peaceful retreat to detox from corporate life! Love the creeks, trails, and beaches within a short walk. Lots to do and see in the area.

The property was very nice, pond was crystal clear. The guys enjoyed fishing and we all enjoyed the pedal boat. We were disappointed that the hammock wasn't there, we would have enjoyed a nap in it! There was a lot more things supplied in the kitchen that weren't in the listing for the property, it would've saved us from bringing them with us. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, relaxing few days. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!!

We stayed at The Pond House in Lake Luzerne NY. We chose the location because it was close to Lake George and allowed pets. My Husband, my son and myself along with our pet Corgi had a fantastic visit. Home was clean and fishing was plentiful. My husband couldn’t believe how many he caught (and released). Quiet area and so close to Lake George for shopping and boating. We had a great time.

Quiet and beautiful place, had everything what we needed it for a peaceful weekend with my husband, son and our 2 dogs, we went for a long walk and the neighbors were really nice, we used the grill and the kitchen so we didn't need to look for a restaurant.

Except for the downstairs bedroom odors everything was wonderful

We enjoyed our stay. They provide very detailed information, I even don't need to ask for anything. Kitchens utensils are complete, the kids very happy with all the family games stacked under the TV. We had a very great family time.

We needed a good place for our family to stay while going to Winterfest. We enjoyed the privacy of the location, the layout of the house and the yard was ideal for us. Enjoyed a fire outside, and the view over the pond. Its a short hop to Lake George and also good local dining options. Diane was an excellent host, and we would definitely return or book another of her properties. Overall excellent time and quality service. Thanks for the experience!

This property is the perfect fall retreat! The house is warm and comfortable, the scenery is spectacular, and Diane is the perfect hostess. We have stayed here before and plan to continue annual trips!

We enjoyed our stay. The pond house had everything I need in a vacation home - on the water, room for everyone to eat and relax together and in a safe area. In addition, the backyard is large and there is plenty of storage space in the kitchen.

Have been coming here for years. It's perfect for our family and a beautiful location.

This was perfect for us (2 adults, 14 yr old boy, 11 and 15 year old girl) and the pics and details were spot on. The location of this house on this private pond made it feel like we had the area all to ourselves. The kids loved the floating dock, and the picnic table and fireplace areas gave a nice private, peaceful place for us to enjoy morning coffee, meals and each other’s company. And the hammock was utilized by everyone in our family for at least one nap! Being only 15-20 minutes away from Lake George gave us more than enough activities to keep us busy (Great Escape, tree top course, rafting, steamboat cruise) throughout the week as well, but I could have just hung out here all week and been just as happy! Diane was also quick to answer any questions we had and made everything from checkin to checkout smooth and easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed here twice now and love it. The house is well kept on a very nice private pond. The fishing is great, there’s kayaks and a paddle boat to enjoy or you can just swim from the dock. It’s a great little town with plenty to see within walking distance or Lake George is a short drive away if that’s more your speed.

Everything is as described. It’s a great little house on the damned end of a pond, nice and private, wonderfully landscaped with a gazebo, kayaks, paddle boat, and a perfect fire pit that we all enjoyed very much. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathroom recently remodeled. Close to lake George and other excursions. I have to give a 4 star on cleanliness because of the upstairs bedroom with twin beds. It has peeling wallpaper right at body level by one of the beds, and the carpet in that room is very old, which in and of itself doesn’t bother me, but that age shows in some brownish matted areas that may be past the point of cleaning. The only other thing is the lack of linens. Only one pillow/sheet/towel etc, per person was provided, and even though there’s a washer and dryer, there wasn’t any detergent to wash what we did have. I’ve never stayed anywhere before that didn’t provide plenty of extra linens and at least 2 pillows. So, I’d say if they rectified that, you’ve got a perfect place. Cause this little pond house was great. Just great! Have fun!

Property was clean and in great location. Perfect for our family. Has everything you need. Beautiful view of pond. Would be a great summer get away. Hoping to come back once the snow melts!
