If you want a secluded vacation at the beach, this is the most perfect accommodation I can recommend. My family was very happy. My five year old granddaughter thought it was "wonderful"! I agree. Janet was easy to deal with. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The description of this property is spot on - the location on a quiet part of the beach, basically between Dewey and Rehoboth was awesome! The condo is really just steps from the beach, and you have a fantastic view from the master bedroom. Its a comfortable size for a small group - there were just three of us on this trip, but it can handle a few more. The screened in porch was great for dinners with the sound of the ocean right there. Comfortable living room and a new TV with all the streaming apps available (at least all the ones we needed). And the property manager/owner couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. Had a question or two about the property and she got right back to us - great service! Its a short walk to Dewey beach to the south, and about 1/4 mile to the start of the Rehoboth boardwalk to the North. On the beach, it was never crowded, and we were there at peak August timing. Would stay here again.

We had a terrific time. Right on the beach. Roughly a 10-minute walk to Poodle Beach and not too far from downtown. Well-equipped with chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed the porch and living room. Easy check-in.

You cannot beat the location: relatively close to the shops and restaurants in Rehoboth but still quiet and peaceful on the beach. My husband, infant son, and I had tons of space to relax. The decor and furnishings are overall quite dated but everything is in good condition. The host was always quick to answer questions.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach here. The location was perfect, we could enjoy the salt air, the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves while we ate breakfast in the sun room, lounged on the deck in the evening and all night with the windows open.
The beach is so close you barely need to pack a cooler and the property had more than enough room for our family of four to be comfortable. Rehoboth & Dewey are both a brief walk, trolley ride or quick drive away.

Our family had a great vacation at Janet’s home. The location right on a private beach was wonderful and we loved the gorgeous view from the second level. The house was nice and when there was a small issue, Janet immediately arranged to have it fixed, which we appreciated. We hope to return for another visit!

You can’t beat the location of this property. We had a front row seat watching the rough ocean waves on two of the days and two other days of beautiful sunshine. It’s always a great spot and I’m sure we will try to stay there again.

We had the best time. It was our first vacation since having our baby, and it was perfect. The home was beautiful, and had everything we needed to spend time at the beach - chairs, toys, etc. It was also a quick walk or drive away from a ton of amazing restaurants and the boardwalk, and we loved the outdoor shower and gorgeous views. The back deck was so nice to relax outside at night too. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!

Couldn’t be happier with our vacation at “Fundadore!” It’s a beautiful home (VERY clean) with all the amenities you could want. The private beach right behind the house is completely hidden behind the dunes and very quiet; from there you’re just a few steps from the ocean. The location is perfect: easy waking to downtown Rehoboth and Dewey but far enough from both to be quiet and feel secluded. Janet is a wonderful host and very responsive. Just an absolute A+ all around and we hope to be back next year!

A slight hiccup upon check-in was quickly resolved. This is a true beach bungalow, well-worn but loved, steps from the ocean. Dewey Beach is a dog loving beach town so if you don’t love dogs this place is not for you (we love dogs). Ideal location for shopping and plenty of markets nearby for quality meat and seafood. The kitchen is well equipped w/ cook ware & utensils but bring your basics, food wrap, oil, vinegar, spices, coffee etc. Lots of dining out options nearby too. Master bedroom is wonderful, sleep w/ the sliding doors open and sleep to the sounds of the surf, lg. walk-in closet and TV are a plus, En-suite bath, great lighting and plenty of space for toiletries. We used the shower in 2nd bathroom which had a much better shower head. For 2 people we had more than ample room. Janet is a great host!

This could possibly be one of the best locations in Rehoboth. The beach is not crowded and you can easily walk into both Dewey and Rehoboth thus avoiding the hassle of trying to find parking. Sunrise from the back deck in the morning. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. All in all a great find.

This was a great property - very clean when we arrived, and a ton of amenities for being right on the beach (chairs, umbrellas, outdoor shower, etc). The location can't be beat - you are at the end of Dewey Beach and the beach is very uncrowded, and you literally just have to walk out the back door, over the dune and you're on the beach. Everything was great.

Great Location
The location of this townhouse is awesome. Short walk to a very quiet beach. Great airflow for ocean breezes and sounds. The first floor deck is great, but you can not see the ocean because of the dunes. The townhouse layout is comfortable and the first floor has been updated. Had to bring bed linens and bath towels so be aware of bed sizes. Pillows, blankets and kitchen linens are provided. Some bed pillows were stained, and bed skirts were torn, but the property itself was clean.

We have stayed in this area many times. This location was perfect! It was our favorite by far. We could walk everywhere. We spent much of our time on the screened in porch. It was perfect for meals and family games. We would stay here again!

Wonderful weekend
I booked Janets house for a weekend away with my friends from childhood. We stayed up talking late into the night while listening to the ocean waves. It was the perfect setting for our little reunion. Janet was responsive and helpful. The trundle bed has two twin bed mattresses. The description says “double”, but that just references that there are literally 2 beds. :)

Long Weekend Getaway
My husband and I had a very nice long weekend staying at this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed.
The weather that weekend created winds we had never experienced before and we loved watching the waves from the upstairs bedroom windows.
It was just a short drive to the Rehoboth boardwalk area. So, we enjoyed dining at local restaurants and we were able to walk the beach before the storm came through.

Great home for a weekend getaway
Wonderful condo that sits right on the beach. Coffee/wine on the deck listening to the waves. Just blocks to Rehobeth for boardwalk and shopping. Great place to stay for our ladies shopping weekend.
