The house is so cozy and well stocked! Linens were super comfy. Super close to skiing. You can tell a loving family loves here normally.

Beautiful and spacious property for a relaxing getaway. It is in a great location near Litchfield and the Berkshires if you want to do some adventuring.

Came here for the Lime Rock IMSA races. The house was great! Not too far from the racetrack and the property had a lot of room. We grilled our family dinners both nights and had plenty of room on the large couch for movies. We also enjoyed playing some games they had provided.

Great house, however would be nice to have larger beds.

Check-in was easy. The house was set back from the road a bit and very quiet. The house appears just like in the pictures and very comfortably housed 5 adults for the long weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies (pots, pans, cutlery, etc.). We loved the screen in porch!

This was a wonderful place to stay!

A girls weekend for a bridal party. 6 of us stayed here and we really enjoyed ourselves. Living room was great for game night, tons of space. Plenty of chairs outside for sitting around the fire. Kitchen had everything we needed. We did end up using a blow up mattress in the bigger upstairs bedroom, the Murphy bed was a bit hard for the people who were sleeping in that room but other than that the place was great. Very close to 2 wineries (I think 2 & 5 miles away) which we took advantage of. Overall great weekend spent here.

My family and I stayed at this home last weekend. It has everything you want in a weekend vacation rental. It's comfortable, peaceful and quiet on a beautiful property. The owners keep it clean and well stocked. I read the previous rental about a chemical odor in the bedroom, which I did not experience at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Sadly we were unhappy with our stay at this house. The house was neat, clean, and well-stocked. The common areas are great for a group to hang out in. However, we had significant problems with the bedrooms. The master bedroom upstairs had a terrible, overwhelming smell of rubber/burning tire/chemicals. My husband and I slept there the first night, and even with the door and windows open the smell was so strong that it woke me several times. It was so bad that we spent the second night on the couch. The other upstairs bedroom has a murphy bed, and the mattress is much shorter than a standard mattress. Our friends' feet hung off the edge. Finally, the third bedroom is literally JUST a bed - barely room to put your bags on the floor. I contacted the rental company to lodge a complaint, and the owner said that she "investigated" but did not find the smell. There's no way that's possible - it was overwhelming and sickening to all of us that stayed in the house. After several back and forths with the rental company, she was firm that she would only refund us $50. Given that one of the bedrooms was unusable, and another was extremely uncomfortable, I did not feel that this was fair compensation, and thus am forced to write this negative review. Unfortunately we would not stay in this house again.

This is really a fantastic place, the house is great and the surrounding area is so beautiful. We can only recommend this house as being perfect.

My husband and our 2 sons (3 yo and 1 yo) just spent a week for Christmas in this house, and we are not happy with our experience as the house was disgusting: dry urine stains on toilet seats, and the sofa, food in the dishwasher, crumbs in microwave, old food remains in the kitchen drawers, food stain in pans (I could tell someone had sausages and eggs at some point), sticky surfaces all over the house, hair in the shower drain, underwear in the dryer, dust and dirt on the floor, not one single glass without lip/food stains… This house had obviously not received a proper cleaning that complies with an honest rental agreement. We have been renting houses for years and this is by far the most unacceptable and unsanitary environment we've seen. The owner sent someone to clean 4 days after our arrival for 2 hours and the cleaning was mediocre as you can only so much in 2 hours. And at that point, we were half way through our stay and before the cleaning person came, I had to scrub bunch of things across the house myself so we could cook food in something, play with my sons on the floor, and use the toilets without sitting on other people’s urine. After the agency insisted, the owner agreed to reimburse the cleaning fees, but it still means I had to clean after people and the house’s overall uncleanliness made our stay absolutely not comfortable. I just don’t understand how people think they can charge so much for such a filthy house.

This rental was so cozy. It was clean and welcoming. It felt like home with out the intrusion of the home owners personal effects.

Clean, comfortable home that is well maintained...warm touches throughout the house. Many amenities making this home a perfect place to get away from it all. Excellent area...close to town with lovely places nearby for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Loved the stay with its tranquil surroundings. You feel surrounded by nature and privacy. I loved talking walks in the woods all around the house. House is very quiet and warm. Everything worked as it should and was very clean and tidy. During the day, went to the local town nearby to shop for fresh bagels and some locally grown vegetables. Owners were very nice and pleasant to deal with. I plan to go back again soon. R. Ravelo,
