We had an amazing stay at this house for a very special wedding weekend and a few bridesmaids got their hair & make-up done the morning of the big day - and the house couldn’t be more beautiful for photos and celebration! Lisa was a wonderful host and checked in frequently to see if there was anything that we needed. Beautiful outdoor sitting area as well and location is perfect. “Flex” third bedroom closed off into a private space that worked well for our group, and there was foam toppers to make the couch ‘single’ beds comfy.

A group of us ladies stayed here from Michigan with the goal of relaxing and exploring Austin. The location and house could not be more perfect! It’s a hop to Barton Springs and within 3 minutes of a walk, you’re on the trail that goes for miles and miles! So much to see and explore right outside the doorstep!! The house is so unique and relaxing! We were sold on the hot tub and beautiful decor. There’s tons of comfy seating on the expansive porch, too! The owner is incredibly communicative and made sure our stay was perfect. She recommends a ton of options, including a private chef who we booked. It was wonderful!

My wife and I stayed here with our one year old daughter. From the moment we booked the property, the host Lisa was amazing. She sent us a list of grocery stores, restaurants, trails, and amenities located near the house. The house is perfect! Super comfortable beds, smart TV, Hot Tub, and an awesome wrap around deck. The location is second to none. I truly is a short walk across the street to Barton Springs, and some beautiful walking trails. We loved every minute of our stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

From the minute we booked our Austin vacation rental a year ago, we couldn’t wait to see if it was as great as the pictures. We walked in Friday and couldn’t believe it was even better! Lisa was great to be sure that we had an everything we could possibly need or want, including bringing over dominoes when we asked about having them. The home, inside and out was designed beautifully and comfortably. Our only regret was not meeting Lisa to be able to thank her in person!

We stayed for a long weekend with two young children and the house was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious and well decorated and conveniently located to the park, springs and restaurants. Lisa was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this location as we felt right at home!

The house is amazing sooo cute and was spotless. The house was loaded with towels and blankets and sheets for the additional sleeping area. The host was so awesome she was so sweet and accommodating and even checked in to see if everything was okay. The location was family friendly. We walked across to Barton springs where the kids enjoyed running playing and some splashing in the water! We enjoyed our morning and afternoon coffee on the quiet patio this house was truly an oasis!

The property though smaller on square footage is only so on paper. The space is wide open, lots of beautiful natural light, plenty of space for our group. The flex space that doubles as a sitting room and third bedroom is clever. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties over the years, and this is one of our favorites. You can literally walk across or down the street to Zilker Park, Umlauf, Barton Springs pool, Zilker boat rentals. The restaurants and food trucks on Barton Springs are all walkable within a half mile. We took our dog on a morning stroll to local coffee places, and even the walk over to Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar was hilly but doable. The weather was perfect to sit on the big wrap around patio, and the teens hopped into the hot tub after swimming in Barton Springs. The house had everything we needed for an easy long weekend. Everything fun in downtown Austin is less than 10 minute drive or walkable. If you ask me what is a downside of this place, I’d say that while it’s the first house across the street from everything, that street is steep and without sidewalks so if mobility is an issue, that 20 ft stretch of street might be tough. That’s it. Everything else is perfect.

What a beautiful and comfortable place to use as our base camp for a long weekend getaway! It’s been 11 years since my husband, son, and I have been back to Austin since we moved away. This was the perfect location as it allowed us to easily explore all of Austin’s must-visit places! The park across the street gave the older kids a place to play while us adults enjoyed the shaded deck! The house is well-stocked, comfortable, and offers just the right amount of privacy for a good night’s sleep! We hope to be back soon!

First visit to Texas with teens. Ideal location and beautiful home!

This property was the perfect place for us to reconnect. It was clean, beautiful and stylish with lots of areas to spread out and chat. The host, Lisa, was incredibly welcoming and friendly with a ton of information and resources available to enhance our stay. Her communication was clear and prompt. This location was amazing! Austin is so walkable and we loved how close it is to Barton Springs. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Family of four plus two dogs who enjoying hiking and the active lifestyle of Austin tx… really enjoyed the stay, place was clean and the kitchen well equipped for the meals when we cooked in. The location simply can’t be beat… walking distance to Zilker, Barton Springs greenbelt, and downtown. Short ride to Soco area. And Lisa (property manager) was helpful and easy to work with… definitely recommend the rental. Small “warning” as there is an upstairs rental so you will hear folks overhead but was not disruptive.

This Barton Heights VRBO was the perfect place for our family to celebrate! The communication from the property owner was fantastic -- from the initial property description to the pre-trip communication through arrival and departure. The home is absolutely beautiful and is in a location that offers many entertainment options. Lovely parks are all within walking distance. Located just a short ride from the vibrant downtown scene. My friends and I loved our stay at Lisa’s property. The house was extremely clean and well decorated. The bed were comfortable and well stocked with blankets and pillows. The only downside was that the third bedroom is more of a daybed/ couch than two twin beds, but two people slept there comfortably and the photos do show this. Zilker park is truly right across the street and we loved walking to the springs. Lisa is very helpful and communicative. We would return again!

We celebrated one of my girlfriend's birthdays in Austin and this property was perfect for the occasion. Beautiful space. Great location. Highly recommend!

Adults and kids alike enjoyed this charming home in close proximity to Zilker Park / Barton Springs. Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully designed place with a large common living and dining space, flanked by private bedroom areas, and expansive deck. Easy communication with host Lisa. This ended up being the perfect spot for our group of 4-6.
