This is an ideal place which suited 4 golfers very well.

The rooms were very clean and all amenities suited us.
The location was close to shops and the beach. The backyard was spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your attention to detail in terms of providing basic equipment in the kitchen and other areas. My nieces and their children were particularly impressed by the presence of a washing machine and a dishwasher along with plenty of plates, glasses, large serving bowls, cutlery, etc.
We all had a ball.
All things considered, the best family accommodation we experienced in the area so far.

The owner was particularly helpful. All Shoal Bay is near the beach, but this is one of the furthest away.. It was modern clean and suited us very well. It was a great price for a 4br place.

Fantastic holiday house for families!
We loved our stay. The house was really clean & tidy. There were basic pantry staples like olive oil, which we were grateful for.
We had three children staying in our group (5months, 3 & 4.5) and felt the house was very kid friendly, the fenced backyard was great & our girls loved the beautiful frangipani trees out the front.
The house is located on a fairly busy main road so while it is an easy 1km walk to the Shoal Bay waterfront & esplanade for adults, without a sidewalk pathway it was safer to drive the kids down. The bedrooms are all at the back of the house so despite the busy road, they were quiet, private & comfy.
We really loved the big collection of plastic plates too.
We would love to visit again one day.

We had a pleasant experience
The house was quite clean when we arrived, as were the provided towels and linens; the home owner, Barry, was very polite and helpful during our visit with checking in and other information, the only downside being sometimes the phone signal in the house was a bit spotty but nonetheless it was a pleasant experience all round.

Never seen anywhere required for providing driver license and covid-19 status to check in.

Warm and smelly
The remote for the air conditioner was missing and the owner couldnt find it so we couldnt use aircon the whole time. It was very hot inside because of that. When the sprinklers turned on the whole place would stink up which was a problem because we had to have windows open the whole time.

Amazing!!
I can not recommend staying at this property enough!!! We stayed for our first family get together since 2019 with 6 adults and 2 children there was more than enough space for us all to gather in the lounge, dining and outdoor areas which was perfect for us to catch up and spend some much needed quality family time together.
Barry was so helpful and responded very promptly to any of my questions/queries.

Beautiful home, beautiful location
This home is deceptively large and has tons of room for many guests. The outdoor seating area easily accommodates 8+ people sitting down. The location is awesome, only 10 minute walk to the beach. The electricity cut out which was a bit strange but we dealt with it and used candles for the evening.

Really lovely house!
This roomy property suited the needs of our large family group perfectly. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Ten minutes walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Communication with the property owners was excellent.

Great location & everything you need
We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Shoal Bay. We were two families with kids ranging 1-11, and there was plenty of space to suit everyone’s needs. The property was clean, and all of the listed amenities were in working order with clear instructions. We really enjoyed the outdoor eating area & bbq! Barry was also a pleasure to deal with & responded quickly when I contacted regarding check-in & feedback on our stay. We will be back!

The property was lovely, clean and comfy. I loved that it had the requirements for the little ones as well as the space provided. Close to everything, I would definitely recommend.

Plenty of toilet paper, towels etc and a good selection of dvds. So much space for just 3 of us but easily sleeps 10 people with a large dining table and 10 seater outdoor table setting. It’s exactly 1km walk to the beach and local cafes etc. I left my iPad behind and the owner was very responsive to my request to have it sent back to me. Thoroughly recommend this lovely house for a relaxing stay.

Excellent home & location
The home was exceptionally clean & well presented, with updated bathrooms and everything a family would need for a comfortable stay - the photos do not do it justice! It easily accommodated our family of five adults & 3 small children. It is close to Shoal Bay shops & beach!

Well maintained and thought out property that provides comfort and has all the small requirements met for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The owners were fabulous throughout our dealings in organising our family Easter break. We will absolutely return another time for another stay
