We had an amazing time staying here. The outdoor area was perfect for the kids to ride around on, close to all amenities, well set up house. Most enjoyable and we will definitely be back! Perfect to be South facing as you don’t get the afternoon hot sun in the entertaining area! Highly recommend

Lovely spacious and mostly well equipped house. In great position next to the canal. Clean and well presented. Good value. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much. A few minor maintenance things were noted with the property.

We are a family with 3 Generations on our holiday. It was a fantastic location. Great house we have stayed before and we love the house and location.

It is a great house. Very suited to our large family (2 parents, 4 adult children and 2 x 6 yr olds). Fabulous view. Very relaxing 😎 Easy access. No problems at all.

Location and overall property was good. Unfortunately fixtures and fittings were flimsy and bathrooms and toilets had not been cleaned properly. Also went to have a bbq but the gas bottle was completely empty. Which was confusing as there was a brand new bbq in the driveway.

Lovely house in the perfect location - water views but very close to shops etc. The house is spacious and beautifully finished off, with different breakout areas for different family needs. We really enjoyed our stay!

With six adults staying for 5 nights, and having 3 rolls of toilet paper available was unacceptable. All of the fire alarms went off at about 4 AM on the second last night for apparently no reason.

Many hours spent sitting and socialising outside with the view of the water way out the back of the house, in between having fun in the Exmouth area.

The property itself is lovely. Unfortunately had some issues with cleanliness, but owner was apologetic and explained it was due to previous guests not respecting the property. The views of the sunset over the canals is amazing. Close proximity to town centre.

Great house, clean and perfect for two families. We had 9 people staying - 4 A & 5 C. Easy check in great spot to stay. Would of been better if we had a jetty also. Neighbors very lovely also. Definitely would stay again, we loved it

Lovely location to relax and enjoy to view of the canals. Property was comfortable and located well for proximity to Exmouth and other tourist locations.

We have stayed at this property three times in as many years. The first stay in 2019 was fantastic. The house was great and gaining access to it was easy. In 2020 the house was good, however the communication with Amy was terrible. We weren't provided with the details as to how to access the property despite numerous attempts to make contact with Amy to no avail. Ultimately we went to the house around 5pm on the day we were due to check-in and were lucky to find a rear door unlocked so we got into the house. It turns out the number for Amy on the Stayz website is wrong (still incorrect to this day). Amy ultimately called around 8pm that night with the access details. Our latest stay (October 2021) I had to chase the access details again as they were not sent. I sent a message via the Stayz link which wasn't answered until the day prior to access (Friday). Obviously that's acceptable as we we weren't due to check-in until the Saturday, however after the drama of 2020 I was anxious about making sure we weren't left standing on the door step. This year however there were mice in the house (quite a few). It was common to see them running through the property and on a couple of nights they woke people up with their scurrying about. I text Amy about the fact she "has a mouse problem" on our 2nd to last day (correct number) and to this day have received no response. The house is in a great location, however communication is clearly an issue (other reviews and my own experience) and now there appears to be rodent problems. Bring a cat if you book! ;-)

Great location and really nice house could easily fit 2 families. Only complaint is was not the cleanest when we arrived, I vacuumed the floor twice to get all the dust and sand out everywhere was abit grotty could do with a good deep clean

The property was as described and great for a family holiday. We have had no personal contact with the property manager, to the point we are beginning to think she does not exist. I have had issue with being overcharged for extra people that we did not have. The property manager advised by email that we would be refunded asap, but I have heard nothing further. Id appreciate some help from Stayz to follow this up for me.

Had to email property manager for Check in info on the day of arrival for details, with a quick response. Place is a little worn and a number of items to improve. Dishwasher had a note saying it was broken & according to guest book had been not working for awhile) however after contacting the owners they had it replaced within a day. Gas bottle empty so had to replace, owners did reimburse but cleaner should have noted. Remote for the in main room not working due to corroded batteries. The cutlery and crockery needs updating so many chipped plates and glasses and only enough for 8 people. No platters or containers for entertaining no plugs for sinks, and a mishmash of Xmas items thrown in. No broom to sweep or mop so not easy to keep clean. Good location. Enough room for two families. Just needs a good spruce up.

The house was fabulous and met all our needs and a 10 Person group. Beds and rooms great size and SUPER comfortable. Bins were full when we arrived and weren’t emptied until the second last day of our stay. There was no communication from property manager and we guessed the code for the keys on arrival. Kitchen is well set up, toy box for the kids and colouring table in the corner was great for amusing the kids. The house doesn’t have its own jetty as yet, but the double gate entry to the water way was good for small children.

Very well presented property, Clean and tidy with everything you need. Very well equipped for familys with younger kids and safe as double gates to access water from out the back of property. We will definitely be staying again!

Very poor communication from owner. No details how to access property, we arrived and had to work it out ourselves. Phone number given to contact owner on the stayz site is wrong number. Even when I rang stayz they couldn't contact owner. No gas for BBQ the whole week we stayed. A booklet that should be in clear view on arrival with all info needed,was found in a draw with a whole lot of paper and rubbish on the last day of our stay. Cleaning of property was not up to scratch when paying that much money to stay there.

On arrival bedding was not changed from previous guests with blood stains found at the end of the king bed sheets and food stains on the other bedding. In the draws rodent droppings . As we were not provided with clean bedding I had to wash my kids ones out.
