Hot days. But all the rooms got new air conditioners.
But living area air conditioner too old.
Not enough cooling.

Tash mentioned that new air conditioners had been installed since they had been there. There was a little mess left by the tradies. Other that that the house was in great condition for our arrival. Tash was lovely to deal with. We had a great stay.

We have 7 kids 10 and under and this house had a kids room that slept 6 attached to a master bedroom which was FANTASTIC!
The ONLY downside to this property is having to bring your own towels and sheets/pillowcases!

My partner and her family stayed here for a buller snow trip. Although we only used the location to sleep it wasThe roomy, clean, well equipped and provided a great launch pad towards buller lake eildon and surrounding areas. I will return in the future with the confidence. Thanks for having us!

Property was beautifully crafted including wood fire heating. Property manager is such a good person. Property location was just opposite to the Mansfield lake.

Nice and Comfy stay on the way to Mt Buller. Plenty of room for the family. Oil fin heaters in every bedroom. We have to bring our own Doona Cover, bed sheets, pillow covers, hand wash, etc.

We were promised electric blankets - however none of the single beds had electric blankets - and it was freezing cold
- Kitchen utensils all grease - we paid extra for cleaners to clean after us however we had to clean everything before they get their
- no wood for the fireplace
- nothing mentioned about linen when making booking and later email confirmation says no linen provided
- you will be bombarded with emails from owner once you make a booking - why don’t just make one email with all details
- house was superficially cleaned but actually not clean at all

We loved our weekend away at Mont Bay Chalet. The house was fully equipped with everything you could need and was super comfortable. The view of the lake from the balcony, for sun-downers (and on Friday night for a lightening show!) was amazing and the 3 min walk to the boat ramp made our swimming pool :) easily accessible. Thanks for a memorable stay

We loved the living areas, including indoor, deck and fire pit area, and there were games to entertain the kids. The kitchen was really good, with everything we needed. The view over Eildon weir was lovely and we had lots of different birds visit us.

As soon as we pulled up, our whole party was very excited. The property is fantastic for large groups, lots of sleeping spaces, and the kitchen is excellently equipped, with plenty of glasses and crockery, and a full sized fridge.
The local bird life visiting in the morning was such a treat too :)

Great Loction
Great place to spend with your family. Hose is fully equipped, but its better if there's blankets beddings and pillow covers were available. It is not practical to take those when going on a family trip. It would be wonderful if they can arrange those when renting. otherwise overall stay was comfortable.

Mont Bay Chalet - Goughs Bay
This is my last minute search for a holiday house near Mount Buller and I found it! It is only 45 mins drive to Mount Buller. The host Natasha & Adam are super efficient. You got all necessary information very soon after the booking is confirmed. This house is perfect for 7 adults and 2 kids. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all clean and tidy. We particularly look for a property with two bath/shower room as after ski trip, everyone is tired and want a hot shower. The kitchen is spacious and got all the necessary equipment. A couple can work together and get the meal ready quickly. The bed is comfy and the electric blanket is great. It provides washing machine and dryer, great for after ski clothes wash. I myself found nothing to complain about.

Natasha was very helpful and communicates promptly . The property was nice and clean . Very roomy and beautiful view . Great service but most of all Natasha was always available to answer any of my queries. Have already recommended 2 friends willing to book the place . And will definitely consider coming back .

Great location.More things than listed.Inside property arrangements are amazing.Kids love that wooden swing.Also the wood heater in lounge room is beautiful and feels like we are staying at our home.One day is not enogh to enjoy the stay.So definitely will come again for a 2-3 days accommodation.

Spacious, well equipped and lovely holiday home
We loved the house. So well appointed and inviting. The firepit and swing were a hit. The visiting birds such as Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots were a definite highlight.
Easy walk to the lake. We were able to safely contain a little dog and toddler within the balcony, so I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway. The house was walking distance to the lake. I also received prompt and helpful responses from Adam and Natasha when needed.

Great Boating Holiday
Easy check in and parking for our boat. Great holiday atmosphere plus comforts of home. Beautiful to walk into views from living areas and deck was good to watch the water by day and stars at night. Slept 10 easy. Short walk to water and so nice to take a walk in early mornings or evenings when not so hot. Water is so good for swimming and boating right now. Get your ass there for a relaxing holiday.
