We stayed at this location due to it's proximity to the Doheny St. Park. We'll definitely be back!!!

I didn't really like the property at all. The room was not very attractive. There was no ocean view. The front desk staff was not very attentive. Getting to the room was hard with no working elevators. Internet hardly worked- couldnt send ir receive important texts. Thers nothing much near the property. Would never stay again.

The property is really well located (right on PCH), the pools/ jacuzzis were also wonderful. Overall it was a good stay, the only two downsides were the broken elevators (we were on the 3rd floor and one of our kids is using crutches, so that was pretty awful for her) and the mattresses on all beds were terrible, super uneven and the pull out couch mattress support seemed broken. Everyone slept ok but no one slept great, unfortunately. However, the condo was well equipped and really clean.

On the listing it said there were 4 twin beds and one king sleeper. We took screen shots of this when we booked the stay back in January. When we arrived in August there were only 2 twin beds and 1 king bed. The sleep 6 people as advertised meant 2 adults sharing a pull out sofa sleeper. This is not what we wanted for our friends getaway to put 2 adults on a very uncomfortable pull out. We would not have booked with them if we knew this was the case. We spoke to the front desk and showed them the listing and they said the listing was incorrect but they couldn’t do anything because it was booked through a third party. I called the third party(VacayHome Connect) but they were rude and told me I was mistaken and wouldn’t help at all. By then they had removed the pictures that listed how many beds there were on their listing. I called Vrbo and emailed them the pictures of the listing and they agreed that there should have been sleeping for 6 people without the sofa sleeper. Vrbo reached out to VacayHome Connect while I was on the phone and got the same response. They didn’t care that the listing was incorrect. I will not be booking with VacayHome Connect or Vrbo again because they both will not do anything for listing the incorrect number of beds.

Elevator broken. Handicapped person was VERY inconvenienced.

Excellent location. Close to Dana Point and San Clemente. Our two bedroom condo was very large and spacious. My family already wants to go back.

Great location right on the coast. Plenty of on site family activities. Clean and spacious accommodations at a very reasonable price. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay, the proximity to the beach was great, we enjoyed the two pools and kids activities. The Mexican restaurant a few doors down was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort property because of its proximity to Dana Point Harbor and the the beach. Don't miss the Ocean Institute if you're there on a weekend. Fantastic place for hands-on discovery of the marine world. Our kids loved the foosball table, shuffle shot game, billards and pool at the resort. It had everything we needed to keep everyone happy!

Upon checkin, we experienced a very curt desk attendant. I had asked if we could check in early, as I had a meeting at 4pm and would like to change clothes. I was told the room was not ready (3:15pm) and they would text me when it was ready. I changed in the lobby bathroom. The desk clerk put our bags and one refrigerator bag in the back. She said once the room was ready they would put our bags in our room and put the refrigerator items in the refrigerator. I returned at 6pm, went to the desk to get my key. It was then I found our bags remained in the storage closet. I rolled the luggage cart to room 235. Upon entering I checked the refrigerator, it was empty. I called down to the desk and they said “huh, let me check out refrigerator”. Comes back to phone and said someone would bring it up. Next up, the “no view” is actually a view of two 10ft rusty pipes dripping water and rat traps. The primary bathroom was filthy and had not been cleaned. There was hair everywhere, in the tub, on the floor, in the sink, the baseboards were disgusting. I called the desk. They went up a very nice girl with a swifter mop. She did the best she could and apologized and then said it was in fact disgusting and would tell the manager. We decided to check out and found another room 30 minutes away. When checking out the clerk only asked us what room we were in and to have a good night. No attempt at improving the situation.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away with our two boys. We had a great time at the pool and using the fun zone on the property.

We were pleasantly surprised by the space. We stayed in a 2-bedroom and it was everything as advertised. Nice to have a sofa, dining area, and kitchen to sprawl out. Comfy beds and clean sheets. We also didn’t realize that there were 2 bathrooms which was excellent. I came with friends, next time I’m bringing the whole family.

Over all was happy with the property. I thought that all the fees were always shown in a VRBO rental ahead of time. But when iwe checked in they surprised us with an additional "resort" fees. I'm going to challenge the extra charges on my credit card when I get home.

Really enjoyed the property. It was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The staff was very attentive and constantly checked in. My teenagers loved riding the complimentary bikes! We also took advantage of the complimentary beach chairs during our stay. Rooms also are stocked with quality beach towels. We enjoyed the game room, pool table & ping pong that were available 24hours. It was close to everything also. I would definitely stay here again.

Our accommodations were excellent. The condo had everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we go back for a visit.

I was very pleased with the property! There are resort fees but they are totally worth it. They let you use bikes, rolling coolers for the beach, chairs, sand toys, and they have a fun zone for the kids that stays open until 11pm where the kids could play wii or Xbox! 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, another great thing one hot tub is adults only! I loved it there!!

This was our second time staying at this resort and it's absolutely perfect. Right across the street from the pedestrian bridge to get to Doheny state beach at Dana point, less than a 5-minute drive to get to the harbor and the baby beach. The location is perfect. The game room is super fun. The pool is clean. The two jacuzzis are nice. To top it off the staff was super sweet and prompt with any time we asked for anything, I have not. One bad thing to say about our stay, will be back

The units are older and a bit musty, but the customer service onsite is very responsive. The beach across the street is pretty rocky and the neighborhood isn’t the best. You should also make sure to tack on an additional $25 a night for parking to your nightly cost. I didn’t feel that was clear in the listing.

Great three night stay for the family. Lots of space in the unit for all of us and lots of amenities and beach toys to keep us all entertained.

The view was terrible... it was a cement wall. You couldn't even see the sky. I knew it wasn't an ocean view but this was ridiculous.

Our room was just what we needed and offered all of the essentials. Communication with the staff was easy and timely and all of our needs were met. The location was central to all of our vacation destinations such as Disney and the zoo!

great location, good accommodations for what we were paying. loved the crafts each day, they kept my kiddos (and i) entertained and made great moments from the trip. daily check ins got to be a little much, but they were always receptive when we needed something. place has lots of potential, they are working on it daily. next time, we'd request a room with a view. limited viewing wasn't joking. more containers for cooking would be nice. just to put leftovers in while we were there. otherwise, it was nice having most amenities. thank you!

The room was dated, but they are in the process of remodeling. Location was great and easy to park with garage. It’s a time share so at check-in you will get asked to attend a meeting plus a $200 hold on your card for damages plus a resort fee if $25/day. Overall good stay.

My two brothers and father planned a fishing trip out of Dana Point Harbor. The Riviera resort was perfectly located. The stay was short but the rental worked out perfectly for our short stay. There was plenty of room, it was clean and worked out for the four of us. Only regret is I wish had booked an ocean view room. Definitely would stay here again.
