De ruime kamer en badkamer

Wat niet in de beschrijving staat van faciliteiten. Schoenen bij de voordeur uittrekken.(op zich geen probleem).geen tv. Geen prive. Helemaal van slag als een lampje brand. Komt dan naar je toe. Geen rekening houdend met je prive. Ontbijt laat te wensen over. Harde geroosterde stukjes stokbrood. Geen brood kaas of worst of een eitje. Oftewel geen ontbijt. Hebben het ook onaangeroerd laten staan. Douchen met koud water.

Chambre très agréable, propriétaire chaleureuse, excellents petits-déjeuners ; tout était conforme à l’annonce et notre séjour dans cette chambre d’hôte était très sympathique.

The room was cozy and big.

The woman who is renting the place is really not nice. First please note that the check in is only from 17:00, which we did not unfortunately notice before. We asked if we could come to drop our bags, which the woman agreed to. When we came, I asked if I could please change, because I was soaked as it was raining. My boyfriend was waiting outside for me and he asked if she could tell him how to find the room later on, because we will be coming late. She waved her hand in the air, so he asked if she could precise. Then she told him quote: "Ce n'est pas un palais quand meme". I asked if I could please use a toilet. She said quote: "franchement ça fait beaucoup ça". So I said I am sorry, but she let me go. Then I hear her through open window: "Madame s'est perdue dans les toilettes ou quoi". I really do not appreciate these kind of stupid remarks. I understand we asked for something "additional", but as a human being, I believe that letting someone change when they're soaking wet and going to a toilet when they spent all morning on the way, is a basic human kindness. After all, you are supposed to be the host. Regarding the breakfast, she made pancakes, which were ok. There was no milk for the coffee, no lemon for the tea. There was just camembert, jam and a bit of fruits, so do not expect amazing breakfast as it says on booking. I suspect it depends on her mood. The furniture on the terrace was dirty, but the garden was pleasant.

The room is lovely, it's very quiet and peaceful with your own private garden area aswell as breakfast area. Sylvie is very helpful and makes a really nice breakfast . The location is great. Very easy to get to the centre by tram. I would definitely recommend this room.
