The apartment has amazing views of the water on the Pacific side and east side where there is another bay. It’s clean and is well stocked (toilet paper, bottled water, cell phone for emergency use)

James and Cecelia were fantastic hosts, great communication, easy to work with and the place is great. Fully equipped, great balcony, right on the beach, close grocery store, lots of restaurants to walk to. Wonderful experience, we plan to stay again soon!

This penthouse condo was everything we hoped it would be. Very clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and safe. The queen bed is very comfortable. I had plenty of space to do my morning yoga routine. James and Cecilia were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I really like the vibe in Salinas. This town is a beautiful beach vacation destination. Weekends get very busy and noisy. We were aware of this so we were not surprised or disappointed. Ear plugs came in handy on Friday and Saturday nights. I highly recommend James and Cecilia’s penthouse condo and I hope to return some day.

I had an amazing stay..Property owners were polite, friendly and welcoming. The property is cleaned above average standards . Building is cleaned and safe and conveniently located.. I recommend the property for any one that ones to feel safe and welcomed.

Apartment was central to everything. Very clean, very comfortable. Perfect size for 1 ir 2 people. The bed was so comfortable, even the weekend noise didn't disturb my sleep. Great, hot, rain shower. Having owner James near by with his sweet dog Ralph was very convenient. He was very nice and very helpful with everything. I would definitely return!

James and Cecelia are awesome hosts. They are very friendly, answered all of my questions and provided great recommendations. The penthouse condo is the perfect size for 1-2 people. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The condo is located in the heart of the Malecon with nice views of the beach/Salinas Bay as well as nice breezes from the balcony. Sunset views from the balcony was a bonus.

the condo looks even better than in pictures. we had a great stay . the hosts (James and Cecilia) are so accomodating and helpful. if we ever need to rent a place again in salinas we will definitely be back. my only complaint is that the time went by too fast 😉� lol. thanks for your hospitality . see you again soon

Every night at 6 we would sit on our balcony, wine in hand and watch the sunset into the ocean, a favourite part of our day. Our apartment met all our needs, comfortable bed, good closet space, a kitchenette that was well equipped, lounge area and great shower in the bathroom. The area is perfect for Salinas Beach and Pepepe Beach just a short walk away. There are many restaurants in the area and a decent sized grocery store nearby. Our hosts were an important part of helping us obtain transport from the airport, shopping orientation, even finding us an English speaking doctor and accompanying us there for the appointment. If you are looking for a great place for a long or short term stay this is one we can highly recommend.

A comfy little apartment 90 seconds from the beach. Handy to a wide variety of restaurants and a more than adequate supermarket. Easy walk to laundry where the price to have your wash done and folded is less than if you took it to a self-serve in the States. A very active place for night life activities so, if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs or use the ones that James Flannery provides especially on Friday and Saturday nights. James, Celia, and Ralph were all great hosts and took care of any needs that may have arisen. The airport transport from Guayquil that James suggests is a superb option. The facilities in the apartment--shower, bed, closet space, kitchen, kitchen supplies--were more than ample to make one truly comfortable.

All the extra little touches and amenities make this a great place to stay! All of these were provided: well-equipped kitchen, cleaning products, bath gel, q-tips, ear plugs for late night holiday celebrations, beach towels, super balcony.

We loved our stay in Salinas.....the condo was well appointed/clean/ comfortable and located right where you want to be. Corresponded with James many times and always got quick replies to my questions. Don't hesitate to rent here....you will love Salinas and the condo. We will return to Salinas sometime soon.....

We enjoyed staying in this condo for a month because of its location, space, security, internet reliability, and especially the owners. Being on the top floor in a corner unit, across from the beach and within easy walking distances to the best restaurants, made this condo a perfect location. Also, we could see both sides of the peninsula. From the balcony, we saw whales feeding. This very clean and well-maintained space was brilliantly designed to maximize space and light. The chic and comfortable furniture accentuated the design and was sufficient for our need as a couple. We (mostly husband) particularly enjoyed the recliner and ottoman. The essentials in the kitchen and bathroom exceeded our expectations in quantity, quality, and variety. Even beach towels, small cooler (what a pleasant surprise), and cellphone were provided. The bedroom was spacious with built-in closets, which had lots of hangers, and built-in drawers. The desk was a bonus. The bedding and linen were of good quality with extras available! We always felt safe, and the ever vigilant doorman added to this feel. The internet was reliable and speedy. As world travelers, vacation rentals are our primary housing choice. Most owners follow a basic model. James and Cecelia are very speciall. As guests, we always felt our happiness was paramount. James arranged for us to be picked up from the Guayaquil airport by Viktor (an excellent driver and spontaneous guide) for our two-hour ride to Salinas. Also, they arranged for a nail tech to come to the condo, made a massage appointment (walked wife to location), suggested a three-night trip to Montanita and Puerto Lopez including where to stay and eat - all excellent recommendations!! Our orientation was thorough. Thanks James for your patience. Let's not forget Ralph. One look at this dog, and you will want to become a pet owner. We highly recommend renting this condo.

Wonderful Stay James and his wife, are the perfect host! The apartment, was perfect for all our needs! As James, provide all the things and more to make a perfect get away. The apartment has air conditioning in both rooms, flat panels TV in both rooms, a full kitchen, and a nice living room. We received a warm welcome from the host and a wonderful memories. We love to go back to stay with them! This is a perfect place to stay for a long time.We recommend to anyone that like to be pamper!

Cecelia and James provide a wonderful and tastefully decorated suite. They are terrific hosts and are a wealth of information about the area. The accommodation, furnishings and sunsets from the balcony are second to none. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back. James and Cecelia thanks for a memorable vacation.

We stayed @ James & Cecilia’s condo for 13 days and enjoyed every day. We had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The condo is very cute, clean & yet modern. Ample space for me and my husband. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was equipped for us to cook our meals. We shopped and cooked delicious foods. The bathroom contained all the supplies you might need: shampoo, conditioner, soaps, towels, etc. There are many restaurants just around the corner & you can walk there. There is a store nearby where you can buy all that you need (small supermarket). This being our 1st trip to Ecuador and knowing very little Spanish, we appreciated the instructions that we found at the condo, which told us all we needed to know to move around. James assisted us with booking great massage for us as well as having pedicure and manicure done right in the suite. Both James and Cecilia are great property owners that ensure you have all the privacy you may seek and yet they are right there if you need something. The WIFI in the suite is a definite asset. We felt very safe, comfortable & the last day of our stay was sad one because we just didn’t want to leave. We’re already thinking about our next trip and I would definitely book this condo again.

This condo is a gem right in the middle of Salinas. It was immaculate, well furnished, lots of closets and a great value. Everything you need to have a relaxing stay. James and Cecelia were a wealth of knowledge about where to go and how to get there. We enjoyed some great restaurants and wonderful fresh markets. Two weeks went by in a flash. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

James and Cecilia’s Condo in Salinas was Fabulous. It is very clean, modern and has all the conveniences we needed for the 10 days we were there. It is so nice that we could live there. The bed was comfortable and there is lots of closet space. There is a balcony to sit and have coffee in the morning or in the evening you can watch the night life, especially on Saturday nights. There was a wonderful breeze on the balcony that was very refreshing. We cooked most of our meals. We had pots and pans, rice cooker, blender, utilities, coffee maker, bottled water etc. I could go on and on but suffice it to say we had everything we needed. The Condo is in the middle of the Malecon and you can walk everywhere. The beach is just across the street. Families are walking the Malecon and playing on the beach and swimming. I found some unusual sea shells. There are beach umbrellas and chairs you can rent so you can sit and enjoy the Pacific Ocean. The water was cool/not cold but refreshing as it was hot. There are many restaurants all around and a Grocery Store and Laundry Mat very close by. Buses are 30 cents and Taxi’s are very cheap so getting around is easy. James and Cecilia were great Hosts. They are friendly, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. James even arranged for a driver (Viktor) to pick us up in Guayaquil where our plane landed and drive us 2 ½ hours to Salinas (for a very reasonable price). We highly recommend this Condo for a wonderful stay and we hope to return some day.

Don't let the small size fool you! Just pack your swimsuit and toothbrush because this suite has everything a traveler needs. The unit is modern, clean, and comfortable. Step across the street and you're on the beach. Restaurants, shops, grocery store, pharmacies, laundry are all only a short walk away. All of this is good but the best part of this rental is the owners. James and Cecilia were very welcoming on our arrival and also provided an information packet that covered everything from restaurant recommendations to bus routes. Always willing to help, they were even able to refer us to an English speaking dentist when the need arose. We enjoyed every minute of our 6 week stay and are looking forward to a return next year.

Absolutely beautiful penthouse apartment, a spacious terrace with amazing views, luxury, quality, beautiful decor throughout, exceptionally clean, immaculate, a true gem and so much more. The sunsets from the terrace were amazing, perfect for stunning photography. The location is especially ideal in the center of the Malecon, within walking distance to top locations, restaurants and sites. The owners were exceptional, gracious, friendly, personable and available to assist without hesitation. Do not miss the opportunity to rent this upscale unit! The unit is clearly under priced. The laundry service across the street was inexpensive with same day availability for pick up. My stay was exceptional and unforgettable. The hospitality I received from the Flannery family was impressive and well beyond my expectations.

Really nice and modern apartment right on the Malecon in Salinas. The apartment is nicely furnished and the owner thought of every little detail to make you feel as if you were at home. Location couldn't be better. We can highly recomend this place.
