Brian and Gail think of everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. From the table being set, the fresh flowers, the beach towels, the fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need except the food of course and so much more. This was our third stay and it never disappoints.

We had such an amazing week with beautiful weather! We spent every day at the beach and even took two excursions: Nantucket and Provincetown. The location of the beach house and all the amenities were perfect. The welcome gifts we such a nice surprise too! Thank you very much!!

We loved staying at Gail and Brian's home in West Yarmouth. The size of the house was perfect for us - 4 adults and 2 children (8 + 10). The short walk to the beach and view was spectacular!! Gail and Brian were readily available if we needed, and were so hospitable. Highly recommend

This is a delightful and interesting little home, attractively decorated and well-equipped, and having amazing salt water views. The beach is a very few steps away.

This was the most pleasant and relaxing vacation we’ve ever been on. Our hosts, Gail and Brian couldn’t have been any nicer! It was a pleasure meeting them and Coco. They were helpful and the welcome book they prepared was great. The welcome bag they left for us had some treasures that will continue to remind us of this week. Very thoughtful . The house was cute and comfortable. Decorated so nicely and super clean. The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need! The house was perfect for 2 couples. It was clean, everything you need is supplied and the views were beautiful from the deck. A very short walk to the beach, ocean breezes made it comfortable in a hot, humid week. Brian and Gail were very nice and were available in case we needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Brian and Gail have been hosting for awhile and it shows they have thought of everything to make your stay seamless. This spacious home is even more impressive than the photos. The location is ideal the proximity to the beach is excellent. We took kayaks to Egg Island, daily walks on the beach , trip to Martha's Vineyard (Ferry is 2 miles away). My family gave me high marks for choosing Upwind I would not hesitate to do it again.

What a beautiful property this is! The friendly owners told us to just pack our bags and they provide nearly everything. And indeed, they really have thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay, including equipment for our 18 month old grandson ! Perfect location with magnificent views. My wife and I cannot thank Brian & Gail enough for allowing us to rent their beautiful home last minute. It was the most glorious week filled with lots of time taking in the ocean breezes, sand, sun, sunsets from the stunning balcony and the occasional windstorm. The house is better stocked than any other rental we have been to and also had some nice personal touches that only added to a great week. From this house, we had great sunset (and breakfast) views from the upstairs deck and were able to easily walk out to the beach as well. The location is very convenient to Hyannis for great food, shops and Ferry access and about a 30 min drive to Chatham.All in all it was a wonderful experience and we would gladly be guests at Brian and Gail's "Upwind" house in the future!

This is a beautiful, well maintained three bedroom, two bath home just a few steps away over a nice footbridge to an uncrowded beach. The water is clean, nearly weed-free and shallow, and safe for children. The second floor deck provides a panoramic view of the ocean and nearby estuary. Unlike many beach rentals, this house is equipped with two king size beds and one queen size bed, all very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, and all the necessary dinnerware and cookware is provided. Owners Gail and Brian Quinn could not be nicer and more accommodating.

We do not normally write reviews but our experience at this property was so wonderful that we needed to share. The house is beautifully decorated with amazing views of the ocean and marshlands from the upper deck and a great yard and lower porch for activities and meals. The real gems however are the owners who were such wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back!

My family and I spent a week at Upwind and it was exactly what we needed! Perfect location, absolutely beautiful and had everything anyone could ever need while being away from home! Brian and Gail were extremely hospitable and amazing hosts. Will definitely be staying again soon!

Our stay at Brian and Gail's wonderful beach cottage Upwind was an excellent experience. Our hosts thought of everything to make us comfortable. Even giving us a tarp to put over our bikes when it rained. Thank you Brian. The best part by far was the upper deck with its sweeping views of Lewis Bay and the ocean beyond. It was so relaxing to just pop up there with morning coffee and a book or to just enjoy watching the change of the tides, the boats, people and the ferries coming and going. We were there for the 4th of July weekend and even though the town fireworks were canceled the people had so much patriotic pride. Considering the limits we are all held to these days, everyone needed to let loose. We enjoyed much of the cape, beaches, lighthouses, went kayaking and even went to Martha's vineyard. We very much appreciated coming back to Upwind at the end of a full day. We would certainly love to stay at your beautiful home again. Thank you both!😎�

From the moment we walked into the house we felt at home by the beautiful decor, the breeze from the ocean, and the brightness from all the natural light. The homeowners were warm and friendly and very accommodating. There were many ammenties in the home that added to the comfort of our vacation. We loved our stay and hope to return.

My husband and I spent the week with our parents at Upwind and could not have asked for a better experience. From check-in to check-out, our stay was everything we hoped for. The house itself is beautiful and can we talk about the perfect location!? The ease and convenience of having the beach 25 yards away (and all the beach gear you could need already at the house) is unmatched. Gail and Brian are wonderful, kind hosts and extremely responsive to anything that might come up throughout your stay. We highly recommend and hope to be back!

Really great home! Nothing between us and the beach, the boats in Lewis Bay, or the July 4 fireworks directly offshore. House and garden are beautiful; kitchen big enough for entertaining. Gail and Brian were friendly and easy to deal with. Great experience!

The property was lovely with great views and kept very well! The owners left instructions for just about any question you might have which made it very easy. They have just about anything in the house you will need from shampoo to Laundry detergent to board games. Brian and Gail are a class act and are available and responsive to any questions/issues you might have. Thank you for a fantastic week and for making our first VRBO experience a great one!

Loved our week here. Owners great to work with and had many welcoming touches for our stay. Home is extremely well equiped and had everything we needed. The weather was pretty humid and things cooled off in the evenings with great breezes most nights. Can’t beat the location, very close to everything yet steps actoss footbridge to the beach. Beautiful yard that is a mini wildlife sanctuary

From the moment you walk in to this beautiful home you feel welcomed. Owners Brian and Gail are wonderful. All you need is your clothes and food. Every morning to wake up to the water was a gift.

Brian and Gail were helpful from the moment I booked, to the end of our stay. I had questions, and they were very quick to answer them. The home was clean and inviting upon our arrival. They had the table set for us, and left us a small gift with a welcome note. We needed nothing but clothes and food. The beach/ocean was great. We walked, swam and fished it daily. We enjoyed the top deck on the home every night, watching the lights from the ships which passed thru Hyannis harbor close by. We vacationed in September and the weather was perfect and the crowds were minimal, exactly what we were looking for. The Cape Cod bike trail was awesome. We rode different sections three times, as well as a 30 mile ride thru the surrounding neighborhoods. We also took the ferry to Nantucket Island. That was a fantastic trip and I highly recommend it. There is plenty to do in the area if you choose, but the home is lovely and comfortable and hard to leave. The outdoor shower was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The few neighbors we talked to were as pleasant as Brian and Gail. You will NOT be disappointed if you stay at Upwind.

We rented this house the first week in September and we couldn't be happier. The house is extremely clean and very well equipped which made cooking and eating in a pleasure. It even has a wine refrigerator and outdoor shower which we took total advantage of. The owners of the property are super nice. They gave us a beautiful beach bag filled with Cape Cod and beach souvenirs, and the perfect beach toy for our 3 year old grandson which he loved. We enjoyed cocktails on the upper deck overlooking the beach and harbor in the evenings. On a cold and rainy day we sat in the upper sitting area which was bright and airy to play board games and watch the weather. Our family and friends visited us throughout the week and everyone loved the opportunity to be on the water and totally relax. In addition, West Yarmouth is close to so many things so trying out different beaches was easy and shops in Hyannis are only 10 minutes away. Just perfect!
