Need a little improvement like clean

We had a wonderful time in Irem Garden at Tom Hinako Walter's apartaments. Your servise is great, the waterpool is clean, everything you need is in the apartaments. The sofa in the salon could be better, but it is still okay. The beach is near and it looks facinating, only few people are near. The beach staff is also great. Tom and Hinako were very nice and kind. Thank you for your care. There are so many such a wonderful places, so we will definately come back. Thank you for great holidays!

Very good contact from owners really helpful from start to finish Loved Side will def go back to that area Resort I felt especially A block. Looks in need of attention looks a little dated and run down excellent massage facilities well worth the money not sure what cleaning staff for appartment are meant to do didn’t take rubbish out change towels or very much evidence of cleaning. My wife and I had a lovely stay at Tomz Boutique. Arriving at 3 am, the night security guard was most welcoming and efficiently assisted us to the apartment. After a short rest, we headed off across the street to Irem Hotel, as we didn't fancy cooking, we spoke with the manager and after paying a small fee, was able to join the other hotel guests to the buffet breakfast - a really great start to our holiday. The apartment itself was well equipped for all our needs, clean, very spacious and even pool/beach towels were provided. Also, there is a washing machine within the apartment, which came in very handy halfway through our holiday. Equipped with a large TV, which we occasionally used to check the news and a large folder with detailed apartment instructions and flyers for booking excursions. The balconies overlook the pool, great for a morning coffee or evening drink and the sunsets were a pleasure to see. Throughout our stay, there was no noise heard from the adjacent apartments. The complex itself is in a lovely tranquil area of Side with very helpful staff available throughout the day and night. On one occasion, we needed to visit the main bus terminal to book the following days trip. Rather than instruct us which bus to take, they gave us a lift in their car, walked us to the correct booking office, speaking in Turkish to the sales rep and kindly drove us back - how's that for customer service ? Essential food supplies, along with tea, coffee and bottled water was already in the apartment upon arrival and we kindly replenished the stock before we left. The pools were clean with numerous loungers, parasols and tables beside and if one of the pools got crowded (rarely during our trip), we just visited the other. A free shuttle bus travels from Irem Hotel to the beach but if you prefer, it is only a short walk. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance too. A huge thank you to Hinako and Tom for their hospitality and kindness. We will definitely be back.

We booked this place for 3 days only but we wished that we could have stayed longer. The apartment was spacious & clean. The rooms were bright and I loved the 3 balconies. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Anything we needed, we only had to ask.

Wow! Such a lovely spot on this planet of ours. Side was magnificent. Small town, but very powerful indeed, historical, with friendly and easy going local people. Pretty cheap comparing to London, Tokyo or French riviera. Actually, very cheap. Sandy beaches and food is just like you remember from your home as a kid. Tom's and Hinako's apartment is what you need in the hot month, with cool tiles and air condition, spacious, upstairs downstairs, pool outside ( actually 2 large and clean pools ) cleaning ladies coming every day to suit your needs if in need, while beach is maybe up to 15 min walk, with the sea of 27c which is amazing feeling btw. Myself and my girlfriend had such a lovely 2 and a half weeks. Only trouble is in August when can be too hot, but even then you are safe and cozy in lovely apartment. Tom and Hinako are hosts to wish for. Everything was easy. We wish to go there again and please, let it be soon, just thinking to my self. Dado

This was my first visit in Turkey, it was fantastic stay.Side is such a historical place, unexpected to see many antient buildings. Beach is also very pretty and relux to walk about the area. Reasonable price for local restaurants and bars, very tasty! Location of the apartment is very convenient to go to beach, old town. Every rooms are nice and bright, and clean throughout. Having 2 bathrooms were awesome! Perfect for a family holiday. We went to over night trip to Pamukkale that was such fun! I love to come back to stay at Tomz Boutique apartment again in near future! Thank you!

We had an excellent holiday with my cousin thanks to Hinako and Tom. The place is great, everyone very helpful and kind. Hinako and Tom send us all the information before the holiday, they even recommended airport transfers. The place is a great location for couples as well as families, so much to do. Thanks again to Hinako and Tom, hope to visit again in tge near future.

The owner Hinako and Tom have sent me all the local information and made me feel very welcomed. Great location, easy access to beach, Center of Side and historical part of town. Much quieter than the touristy area. If you want to relax and plan your day with your own time, then this is a perfect place to stay! It's super clean all around, beautiful view from balcony, very peaceful. I started a day with a cup of coffee at the balcony listening to birds and went to the swimming pool inside the apartment, just perfect to start my holiday! Enjoyed the breakfast at the restraint also. I could have as much as I liked including tea and coffee! It made My first trip to Turkey so special!

It has been wonderful 2 weeks in Side and I wanted to thank you for all your preparation and information. You have a very nice apartment. We spent a lot of time at the pools and on the beach. We did some interesting and adventurous tours and enjoyed the time there. One remark regarding good locations to eat: We can warmly recommend "Zur Roten Rose" which is located same street as "Korner" a couple of 100 meters up the road. Very good food! You should try it next time.

Tom & Hinako could not have done more to make our holiday any better! Due to ill health we messed them about & changed our booking from one year to the next - this caused no problems at all. The apartment is in a good location, despite a road running in front we did not find traffic noise noticeable. The kitchen area is well equipped with a big fridge & good size freezer. We enjoyed the choice of 3 balconies! The 10 minute walk to the lovely sandy beach was very easy, no need to use the complimentary bus if you don't want to. Walking into Side, past the ruins also easy, either along the beach or on an unused road. The pools were clean & the area generally kept tidy & clean. We had strong winds & heavy rain & all excess water & fallen leaves were soon cleared from the site. Plenty of choice of supermarkets & restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this apartment & Tom & Hinako are the perfect landlords! Well done & THANK you

We had a wonderful holiday at Tom and Hinako's great apartment in the lovely Side. We loved the location of the apartment, on the edge of the town, overlooking the countryside but just a short walk to the beautiful beach (and such a warm sea) and an enjoyable walk in to the bustling, historic town. We enjoyed a lovely day out on the boat to Manavgat Waterfall, but otherwise felt there was so much to see in Side that we didn't need to go elsewhere. The children had a whale of a time in the swimming pools and the slides, and the pool table in the evening. Thank you Hinako and Tom for allowing us to have one of our best holidays to date.

We were most impressed with our holiday accommodation. The apartment itself is beautifully presented and very comfortable. The hotel complex is very clean and well maintained and the staff are delightful and extremely helpful....from Ozgar in the Supermarket who can arrange for large bottles of water to be delivered on request to Adem, Bilal, Semuz, Asad, Sami and the rest of the restaurant team for whom nothing is too much trouble and who never seem to stop smiling!!!!! Tom and Hinako were able to provide a wealth of local information and recommendations for place to eat. We had a great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Hi! I have recently been on holiday to Turkey and stayed in Tom and Hinako's apartment in the Irem Garden. What a lovely experience it has been! Hinako has sent a lot of very useful information long before our arrival and communication was excellent. The people on site are extremely helpful and friendly, the location of the place is great, just 10 minutes walk to the 'Full Moon beach'. Bus service is of course available several times a day, but the beach is really easily accessible on foot as well. The apartment is really clean and equipped with anything you might need and in really good condition. We have also greatly enjoyed the pools, in the afternoons and the lovely restaurant on site! We found leaflets in the apartment with a lot of useful information about different attractions in Turkey. Thank you for those! There is a lot to see and do in the Antalya region, something for everyone. You deffinitely have to see the old centre of Side - the remainings of the old amphitheatre and temples are well preserved and well worth seeing. We have also bought 2 trips from a local company - a one day to Pamukkale and a one day rafting trip and I would also recommend both. All in all, a wonderful vacation and I absolutely recommend Tom and Hinako's apartment as the perfect location in Side! Miruna

Thank you so much Tom & Hinako for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your beautiful appartment. This was our 6th visit to Turkey and our 4th to Side. We have stayed in some lovely 5star all-inclusive hotels but have to say this holiday was right up there with the rest of them. The appartment is in a lovely complex which caters your every need. Great choice of pools 2 across road which get really busy early and 2 at this block which are quieter and you can always get a sunbed no matter what time. Two small shops on-site which sell basic needs but lots of supermarkets around for everything else.There is an information book in appartment which lists everything you need to know about local area. This was a great help to us finding our way around. We spent a few nights staying in(1st ever) because the appartment was so comfortable and had a lovely time playing board games on the balcony with a few drinks. We took the dolmus( goes past the hotel entrance) into Side Old Town but the walk was so nice of an evening and only takes 10 mins to bus park. Old town just as we remember,great shops,great restaraunts and lovely harbour and of course our daughters favourite "Appollos Temple". The market at Manavgat is a must to get all your bargains and again the dolmus from front of hotel will take you right into Manavgat. We also went on a tour to Alanya which was a fantastic full day. Bus picks you up at 9am and drives to Alanya(1 hour away). Then a scary ride a way up to Alanya Castle(breathtaking view), back down to sea level and into a cave with stalagtites and stalagmites, then off into mountains and lunch on the river, absolutely amazing place with pods on the river and lots of comfy cushions( beware tho the river is freezing!!), 2 hours free time in Alanya then a lovely boat tour. A fantastic day had by all. All in all a great holiday spent in a gorgeous home from home in a beautiful area of Turkey. Would we recommend this apartment??? Absolutely without a doubt YES. Home from home - but drier and oh so much warmer !.The apartment met all our expectations, very well equiped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the facilities at the Irem Garden were excellent and the staff brilliant, attentive without being intrusive. We had a wonderful family holiday with our two grown up children (27 &24), there was lots of lovely food and sightseeing. We hired a car and went exploring up into the mountains ( of which you have veiws of from the balcony ).The local beach within walking distance was lovely, (free shuttle bus - an added bonus when your hot and tired !!). We were very lucky to be met by Tom and Hinako on our arrival, and how welcome they made us feel, and made sure everything was perfect.What fun we had on 'Turkish Night' held in the hotel, and then onto watch the football and with England safely through to the next round, what a start to our holiday. No hesitation recommending this apartment to anyone. Thank you Tom and Hinako.

We have just returned from Side where we had a blissful two weeks in this apartment. We were 4 - a couple, our teenage daughter and her dear friend. Everything was exactly as we had been told - except better. The apartment is lovely, sleeps 4 very spaciously, and is delightfully situated about an 8 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. (There is a free shuttle service to the beach, but we never used it as the walk back and forth was so easy). Tom and Hinako were extremely helpful and responded immediately to any queries we had with lots of useful information: we hope we will be giving them more to inform future guests. The only thing we needed to bring was beach towels - everything else was there. The apartment is in the Hotel Irem, located on the less developed eastern side of the area just outside the old town. We loved the area as it is much less noisy and touristy than the very crowded western side, but only a 20-25 minute walk to the old city. The best way to walk by far is along the beach. A taxi is only 12 lira though if you are hot and tired! Ruins abound and are completely accessible to anyone interested. Side is beautiful indeed and although it may seem touristy there are many extremely lovely and interesting places to visit that are only a drive away, depending on your fancy. Some of our excursions included a private jeep and driver for a day to visit an ancient acropolis city in the mountains, tour a national park and a truly impressive dam and gorge; a full-day gulet (wooden boat ride) down the coast to Dolphin Island; the Manavgat Bazaar in the neighbouring town; and a day swimming in a series of cascading waterfalls in a secluded area, again with a private driver. All of these were delightful and extremely reasonable. Also not to be missed is the hotel hammam and the wonderful massages. All of these were facilitated by the hotel, in particular Osgur. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about the Irem staff, beginning with the manager Mustafa and extending to everyone. All of the staff have been there for years, and are courteous, friendly, helpful and delightful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. On hearing that our girls had been in Europe for a football (soccer) tournament, the staff immediately invited them to a midnight match - and upon the ensuing Canadian-led victory, arranged a rematch a week later! It has been a very long time since i have had such an effortless and enjoyable hotel stay.
