Makes for the best 2.5 hr drive to enjoy a southeast coastal experience BUT in TExAS!

My only complaint is that Cinnamon Shore does not recycle. This is very disappointing for a progressive place so close to the beach. I think your company could do better to protect the beautiful area around you. I would also suggest pickle ball, basketball or tennis courts to be added to the green space. The pools were lovely but super crowded and a little dirty.

The home was in a great location and plenty big for our family consisting of 14 people. We especially loved the screened in back porch ( which kept pesty bugs out). Their were minor hiccups but nothing that wasn’t taken care of by maintenance almost immediately. Would definitely stay there again....

The house was in great shape - we would definitely rent it again. Only bad experience was lack of communication from the property manager. We tried to connect with them for a week leading up to the trip to get details on Covid and other things. We never could reach them - to the point that we almost didn’t make the drive down. When we arrived, they said it was because they had been busy. No return text, email, nor phone call - seemed unacceptable. Once we arrived, the trip was great - and the staff that was there was friendly.

Toilet paper and soaps (dishwasher) detergent was not enough. Tried to reserve surfing for the kids and it didn't work. Restaurant closed on Sundays during peak season doesn't make sense. Garbage bin (outside) was full when we arrived.

Our family had a fabulous time in Cinnamon Shores! This was our first visit to the community, but we will definitely be back. The house had MORE than enough space for the six of us to spread out, and the kitchen was well equipped to cook full meals~considering all the restaurants were closed due to Covid-19. The house was within walking distance to the beach & pool~we didn’t need to rent a golf cart. There were a few minor glitches-bunk bed lights in the loft did not work, there was kitchen cabinet door in need of repair, and the back doors upstairs were difficult to latch. In addition, MBR pillowcases were stained. There was also no extra trash bags. A little disappointed that we were told that everything would remain open in the resort-only to discover that was not the case (gym & dining establishments closed). All in all though, super satisfied with our stay. Happy we had an opportunity to do something over our Spring Break.

The kitchen is well equipped. It is close to the beach, fishing and lots of fun. The big problem is the very poor connection to the internet and TV cable. One of our family had to do some work and had to go out to get a connection. The TV cuts out continually and often. The internet coverage is very weak and SLLOOOWWW! There is some maintenance that needs doing, but over all the house is in good condition. The ice maker did not work. The staff at Cinnamon Shore were excellent in coming to help, but could do nothing about the TV. They put a small refrigerator in the down stairs to help.

The kitchen was very well stocked and the house itself was immaculate. We sometimes have trouble with too few towels, but this place was well-stocked. We all agreed that we'd be back!

Two drawbacks: no internet, so if you are planning to do something important like work, I wouldn't plan on it. The office said that there was a general outage. We never had it in the 4 days we were there.
The heated pool was not heated. We tried all 3 pools on property all each was too cold to use. We know what heated pools feel like (NOT like a hot tub). That was disappointing because the weather was too cool to use the water much at all. However, we did enjoy the corn hole, chess and other outdoor activities on property.

Reviewer Comments: When we checked in, we were told we could call a specific number even after hours if we had an issue. Since night 1 of the 5 night stay, we had fridge issues. It took 3 days for the freezer to actually freeze our frozen store bought items. Which were basically ruined. We also needed a fan for the 3rd floor bunk room, which was very hot. We did call the number on night 2 and had a maintenance guy come out....only to tell us someone would be by the next day to replace the fridge filter. He did however bring a portable fan. So day 3, we haven’t seen or heard of a maintenance guy, yet the freezer seems ok but it shouldn’t have taken 3 days to actually freeze our items. That afternoon a maintenance shows up and starts to replace the filter in the fridge. He states he needs some more help because it wasn’t working. Then another guy shows up with this guy and they both try to fix the fridge yet left it worse than it was. So when they left, we had no water or ice and the fridge was basically messed up. Luckily it kept our food cool. But that was ridiculous. On night 5, as in the night before we left.....we had a power outage, which we could have gone down to the garage and flipped the breaker ourselves, but it was locked and we didn’t have a key. So we lost some power to the 2nd floor. My dad was staying with us and is on oxygen so when we’re frantic on getting the power turned back on but according to the operator, it wasn’t that big of an emergency and it would be taken care of in the morning. She said she had no way to get ahold of someone to come fix it. SO ALL IN ALL, myself, my mom and my dad split this rental for 5 nights. It was a lot of money for most people and we had plenty of issues in which a nice community such as cinnamon shore should have ways to fix these issues in order to make sure their customers return and are satisfied. We were very furious with the issues that happened and feel like we were gypped in a way.

Called maintenance # the first afternoon, twice, before closing hours. NEVER had a return call or anyone come. Downstairs toilet was backed up, could not find plunger. Water filter replacement was 60 days overdue. Freezer was not freezing, leaking water on the floor. Nothing major, but no response.
The cart we had the first day, lights did not work.
We got it replaced Sat a.m., but disappointing not to be able to drive around the first night there.
I know we are in Texas, but there numerous roaches in the house.
The second floor bathroom serves upstairs bunk (4) and second floor bedroom; only 2 towels in the bathroom. Finally found some extras downstairs..
Maintenance showed up mid-day Sat.
Enjoyed both pools and the beach.
