The property was as advertised. It was equipped with everything we needed to spend our week in Ephraim, close to the beach, the park for hiking, and the restaurants of Ephraim and Sister Bay.

Dear Park Place Cottages, We stayed last week in one of the cottages (Cedar) and wanted to say that we had a very nice stay. We’ve been coming to Door County for the past 6 years and have stayed somewhere different every time. We’re actually considering returning next year to Park Place Cottages. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the seclusion.

Beautiful setting in the woods, quiet and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay enjoying the most beautiful fall color right outside our door in the woods. Lovely walks in around the property as well as into the state park. It’s too bad that the Internet service is almost nonexistent, the barbecue was unusable as it only got to barely warm and the toaster didn’t work. These defects didn’t deter us from a truly memorable visit and we have only wonderful memories.

The cabin was cozy and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The owner was very nice and left us her phone number and email if we had any questions. Cell phone reception and internet can be sketchy.

Lived up to the described listing. Very quaint and charming little cottage with very comfortable accommodations! Met the owner as well as the housekeeper. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend, especially for the money!

This property is a block off of Hwy. 42, just south of the town of Ephraim, WI. The other direction is Peninsula Park access via bicycling or walking. We were so close to everything in the area, but in the woods for quietness. We loved our stay! Just FYI...internet access was sketchy.

Our kids and grandkids were camping at Peninsula State Park. This was the perfect place to be just close enough and not have to endure camping. Property is exactly as advertised, property manager is very responsive.

Wonderful stay!!

Cottage was very clean, cleverly designed, and well-appointed. This is one of the best properties I have ever rented in terms of location, value and amenities. It is virtually in Peninsula state park as well as close to Fish Creek and Ephraim, but is off the main drag with a nice, secluded feel. I highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying there again.

This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Door County, nestled near 3 of the best towns! This was ideal for shopping, bike-riding, heading to Washington Island, etc. The cabin is adorable and we enjoyed our stay. However, we did not give it a 5* rating due to these issues: could hear the neighbors closing cabinet doors at 6am due to a not very soundproof door connecting the duplex halves; updated coffeemaker necessary; and although we understand this is an older cabin that has been adorably renovated, it still smells a bit musty like an older cabin. Even with these minor issues, we loved our stay here and would gladly go again, but hopefully with people we know in the other half. :)

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. It was nice and quiet without all the traffic of town. There was everything we needed for cooking our own meals, and the bed was very comfortable. The close proximity to Peninsula State Park was great!

Some suggestions. 1 - More towel racks, 2 - Some place to set a suit case on, 3 - A better explanation on how to use the TV/DVD equipment.

perfect location for my sister and myself. Felt like we were tucked away in the woods but just minutes from the main road. Cottage was clean and the decor was cozy. Highly recommend!

Close to Ephraim, almost in Peninsula Park, yet away from the hubbub. Very thoughtfully designed and decorated for a quiet, cozy north woods cabin experience. Definitely would go back.

A great space and location for getting out in Door County! The walls are a little thin when there are noisier guests in the other half of the cottage, but overall a great experience!

Cleanliness, proximity to state park, well supplied kitchen! I would recommend this place!

Everything about this homey, comfy, quaint 1 bedroom house was just perfect for my husband and myself. Absolutely wonderful, very clean, nice comfy bed, nice towels, sheets and blankets. It has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, pots & pans, just everything you need to do some preparing of meals if you choose. I can't say enough good things about this place. Check-in, check-out was easy, communication with the owner was wonderful. We didn't want to leave. It is in an excellent location, set back off the main highway and very quiet. Not far from Fish Creek or Ephraim. We will definitely rent this place again and again. Perfect for 2 people. TV worked great. All we can say is Wonderful. Rent it, you won't regret it.

What a clean, well decorated place! Perfect size for 2. Private even though it is part of a duplex. Great location close to the state park and downtown Fish Creek and Ephraim. Host provided more than ample linens, kitchen essentials, and information on the local happenings and menus. She even had fresh flowers on the table for our arrival!

It’s a little cottage in the woods, central to everything in Door County. We visited with our bikes and were on the go every day. This was the perfect spot to return to each evening. Not completely isolated, as there is a next-door neighbor and a few other cottages in the small compound, and this unit is a duplex. During Mid-May it was cool and quiet and the surrounding forest was blanketed with white trilliums. Heard whippoorwills at night. Everything was comfortable, homey, just enough of the basics provided for cooking. Right on the edge of Peninsula State Park, but just off the main road so the slightest bit of road noise. Extremely clean and pretty and a little rustic, just enough. Bed is separated with a room divider but wall-mounted tv swivels to be used in either area. We saw owner once and she welcomed us and invited us to put bikes in property’s large garage/shed if we wished. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this lovely place.

We couldn't of found a better place to celebrate our birthday. Clean, quite and just out of the loop. We are twins, with one living in Alaska and the other in Mn. so always looking for something fun when Jackie is here from Alaska. It was more than we expected.
