We enjoyed our stay at the house in Northville! It is close to the center of a picturesque Adirondack town and near a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains! I hope that we can come back next year!

The rental was clean and well maintained, plenty of kitchen and cleaning supplies. Beds were comfortable. No views of the lake, but nice, quiet forest setting. Beach access is a 2 min drive away or a short walk. Beach is on a quiet cove. Great Sacandaga Lake is all rocks in this area, buy inexpensive water shoes in Northville at the 5 and 10. Main Bedroom could use a TV. Wifi has a good strong signal. The outside porch, outdoor furniture and front wooden steps could use a power wash. We would stay here again.

House was moderately clean. The bunk room has no aircon or ceiling fan so it was very hot to sleep in. Vacuum was not working even tho it's been on the charger the whole time. Unfortunately no broom so we had to use dustpan to try and sweep the floor. Dishwasher was not working. Had a foul smell when opened. We washed everything by hand. There was no pots or pans for stovetop, we came with our small pot for my toddler & that still wouldn't get the stove working. Majority of the utensils were still a little dirty. We rewashed them all before used. Positive side, very beautiful small house. Kicthen opening out to lounge room is beautiful. Front yard is a beautiful setting with a nice fresh air breeze. Comfortable beds and complimentary towels and bathroom essentials was very generous. Nice location close to beach & shopping. Easy, simple instructions for access. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you

Kitchen well stocked with all the necessary items for eating and cooking, including spices, very nice. Fire place was very nice, which we used each night.

The home is conveniently located to Northville. We enjoyed the home and was spacious enough for all of us. The owners were very accommodating and provided excellent instructions. We really enjoyed our weekend ice fishing in Northville. We will be definitely look to book this home again next year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything we needed was there. The driveway up to the property was a little rough but not a problem. Very accommodating with all the things you need to cook and etc. I would recommend this place if your looking for privacy and peaceful relaxation.

We rented this house because it listed lakefront. That was a huge disappointment. It’s across the street and just a rocky area unfit to swim or really do anything other than stand and look at the lake. We ended up going to the Mayfield Town Beach and paying $10 to park one day and the Wells Town Beach the next. We did enjoy the house. The kids loved the pool table and spent plenty of time playing pool! The beds were very comfortable and the house provided room for everyone to spread out as well as hang together. There were cupboards full of dishes and pots and pans, but a strange absence of basic drinking glasses. We never used the grill or outdoor fire pit. The central air was a welcome blessing. As a gathering spot, it was perfect, just not as a waterfront spot. I had scoured the reviews before renting and no one mentioned the waterfront quality so I wasn’t aware that we wouldn’t be able to swim there. I want to make that clear for anyone else considering this property. There’s plenty of positives about this property, but the lakefront isn’t one of them.

If you are looking for a place that is at the lake and with boat dock this is the place. Clean and plenty of room for a family of 6 even though it was just the three of us. We enjoyed the fire pit and the out door picnic areas at the house and at the beach.

We had a very relaxing time! The house was clean and had ample space for our family. The surrounding town was quaint and the people were incredibly friendly. We made several day trips and found great places to eat!

Though I only stayed for about 13 hours, it was a warm and cozy home in a great location!

This was our 4th year staying in this rental and we never have been disappointed in the lodgings, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings make for a great stay. We always get instant response from the owners if we have a question or concern(of which there were few). great place!!!

Every experience that I have had staying at this property has been a positive one, and would recommend to ant family and friends. Everything is as advertised and owners are very friendly and communication is prompt and clear. Cozy home with plenty of space for guests, private beach area perfect for family and kids. Celebrated a friend's retirement with a much needed stay in the southern Adirondacks. The house was perfect (though it was a little confusing where to turn off the main road) with a new kitchen and a great fireplace. We enjoyed discovering the oldest surviving Five & Ten in the US in town. If not for the rain we would have poked in most of the shops on Main Street. Quiet, clean and relaxing. Thanks again Dave & Chris for letting us stay in your home.

The house is very spacious had room for everyone. The back patio was great for a little fire in a little get together with our friends and family we had our second grandbaby so we had a lot of people up to see the baby. The house accommodated all our needs.

The communication with the owners was always very easy and thorough. We look forward to renting this place again next year.

As with my past experiences renting this property, everything went perfectly and my stay was wonderful. New thermostat was an added bonus as a new feature since my previous stay. House, beach and property were listed as expected and owners were friendly, personable and speedy with any contact. This is all greatly appreciated! Though the drive is a bit of challenge, and the lake access is down the drive, the apartment is well kept and meets all your needs. The owners are very helpful and try to take care of what you need. Worth the visit.

We enjoyed staying at the house. Was clean and cozy. Had all the amenities we needed. Lake was nice and we brought our kayaks.

Perfect little getaway. Private house in the hills but still just a minute or two from town. Plus a short walk down to a small beach.

The lake though a little chilly in June was fun and beautiful. There is plenty of space to relax, eat, read, play cards, or take care of a little work using the wifi if necessary. Have your kids ever all wanted to sleep in one giant bed together? Then they would love the 3rd bedroom, which has a pop up twin trundle that with the other two twin beds can form one giant wall to wall bed. I do recommend printing the check in instructions, I had issue being able to pull it up on my phone with AT&T, although service was fine for calls and text.

This is our third stay and the brand new air conditioning worked great. We were celebrating my daughter’s 52nd birthday and the home was a perfect place for this get together. We brought our kayaks and canoes and enjoyed the very private beach. The homey atmosphere always amazes me. Everything is provided. I highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to enjoy a great vacation. We will be back very soon.

Easy experience

We were very pleased with the house. The fireplace was a welcome amenity on the cold weekend! Nice , clean house. The driveway did present a slight problem for one in our party, but Chris and Dave were very upfront about it so it was not a surprise. We had fun playing pool on the table and the WiFi was very nice to have. We would not hesitate to rent again!

This was the perfect spot for our family weekend getaway. We watched deer pass through the wooded lot behind the house, and there was always a fat squirrel running around in the trees. We loved just sitting in front of the fireplace and enjoying each other's company and listening to the crackling wood burning. Very spacious home and the five of us adults had plenty of room to sit at the table to play cards and other games. We enjoyed our time spent here very much.

It was great stay and comfortable. I will definitely come back for summer, too.Thank you!!
