jacuzzi broken, overall was cold the first day inside 19 degree!!!

The property is situated in arguably the nicest area in the Rhodope mountain. Amazing for walks in the nature. It works for accommodating big group of people, with spacious areas for entertaining. It was clean, warm and the host was open for communication prior and during our stay. There are nice restaurants in the nearby town of Shiroka laka. I would recommend the place for everyone looking for a place to spend relaxing time with their closest friends/ family.

The available electronic devices - tv and kitchen appliances are a bit dated, but serve their purpose. The jacuzzi was broken and we were not able to use it at the time.

Absolutely amazing house, great value for the price! The views are unbelievable, it's cozy and warm, the kitchen is fully equipped.

The house is not maintained enough. It’s getting old and it’s moistures. One of the bedrooms is like a basement, we were not able to sleep there.

This isn’t a bad review but it’s not a glowing review either! The property location is beautiful - overlooking the mountains and there are 6 bedrooms!!! The beds are super comfy and the facilities are pretty much all there - no bath however which is ashame but no bath advertised so no issues. The bbq area, and indoor fireplace are gorgeous. The owners - once you got to know them were really friendly too

The jacuzzi is a key feature in this property and must be reserved before booking - which we did - at £15 for the whole stay - which is worth it. However if it is hot weather the town (Solishta) will impose a ban on all fires. How does this affect the hot tub I hear you ask... the hot tub is home made and works from a fire compartment in the back of it to heat the water. The owners - although reluctantly - set the hot tub up for us after we arrived and badgered them as it is key to the property. The water heats very quickly but only the top half - when you get in to the boiling top half you feel like you’re in heaven - until you step down and realise half of it is freezing - so make sure you mix the water properly. The jets were not working which was ashame. The owners wife - who does the cleaning herself seemed friendly at first but when our little one (2 years old) opened a drawer - she moaned at us and told us to control him. When he turned the light on - she moaned about ‘why are the lights on’ - this was all within the first hour. Check in time on booking.com says 2pm but it’s actually 3pm! Which is tricky when arriving with a little one. They have their own website with All the rules on - and also their reviews (in Bulgarian) - well worth a read if you can!! We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time despite the initial disagreements. The home is cherished to them and it almost felt like they were having us as guests rather than paying customers which made us not use everything the way we normally would in a hotel and take extra care as we know they would charge us for anything they could. It’s entirely hard flooring and concrete so with a little one you have to keep your eye on them the whole time - som big rugs may help in future for families As I said - not a bad review but it’s worth being aware of everything before you stay to avoid any arguments.
