Perfect in all ways for our girls trip! We flew in and had no car and so appreciated being able to check in a few hours early. House is clean and beautiful. Excellent location to walk everywhere we needed to go.

The house was both beautiful and comfortable, even for a large-ish group (there were 6 of us). It was a great set up for a group of friends. The neighborhood was quiet and nice and in a really great location - just a short walk to lots of stores/restaurants on S. Congress; and not too far from places like Trader Joes and Whole Foods. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

You know the feeling when there is no line at the coffee shop… the weather is not too hot and not too cold… your jeans fit like a glove… this was better! Gorgeous space with all the amenities you need for an afternoon out on the patio or a cozy evening lounging on the couch and spinning the tunes on the Spotify. Extra bathrooms for all the girls! Beds and pillows were awesome and toiletries provided. A fully appointed kitchen to whip up some guacamole or start the morning with a hot coffee or tea. Super convenient location to everything on South Congress! We walked everywhere. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Modern, clean, bright spaces! The only minor suggestion I could offer would be some additional hooks in the bathrooms for towels and in the entry for coats. Rental company staff was easily available and reliably responsive to questions. Seriously, this is a no brainer. Just book it.

In Austin for wedding weekend. Great location. Wonderful house and very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The house was lovely and conveniently located. Unfortunately they cannot control the weather and the deep freeze limited our time away from the house. The upstairs lounge was just right and warm to binge a couple movies. Would recommend for groups as everyone has their own space if they need a break.

Modern, well equipped house in an excellent location. Walk or quick drive to SoCo, Austin downtown no more than a 15 minute drive away. Comfy beds and good gathering areas.

Stayed here the week of Thanksgiving - house was clean, exactly as described, quiet neighborhood and walkable to S. Congress which has many shops and restaurants. We were a short ride to downtown across the river. Would highly recommend!

Our stay at Marfa Modern was fantastic! The house was spectacular—-the high ceilings and huge window doors made the living area seem Even larger and more comfortable than pictured. The bedrooms were spacious and the master suite made us feel like royalty. Everything was very clean and easy to take care of—-just as advertised! It was walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in SoCongress. I—-and anyone in my family would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I don't think you could ask for a better place to stay in Austin. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but just steps from the stores and restaurants of South Congress and an easy walk to most city spots. The kitchen is well equipped (hurray for the huge coffee pot and milk foamer), the beds are soft and comfortable, and the main areas are lovely with huge windows/glass doors providing easy access to the outdoor space. The blue bonnets were in bloom when we were there and the side yard was just spectacular. Our only minor issues was that the hot water could go out for a few seconds before it warmed back up.

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was high end.. Appliances, Sonos system Location was 3 blocks off of the heart of South Congress. Had one initial A/C challenge that was taken care of within 30 minutes. Easy to communicate. Great outdoor area. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Love that every room has its own bathroom. Property was super clean and walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Just as shown in pictures. I do wish the downstairs main area had a tv though. Not a deal breaker.

The property was wonderful. Very convenient location. Wish the weather had been a little bit better, but we enjoyed a family gathering in a new place. We would certainly return again here.

Besides the record player not getting to work and one of the upper bathrooms having challenges with hot shower water, the stay was great! The communal dining table was nice to sit around and dine at and we enjoying relaxing and listening to Spotify in the living area. We would have sat outside but it was wet and cold during our visit. Can’t beat the location as it was close by Gourdough’s, Austin welcome mural and shopping in South Congress! We would stay at this house again!

This was a perfect property for four couples staying together. The kitchen and family room are great for gathering together. There was a nice outdoor gathering area as well, unfortunately we hit a rare November cold spell. It was an easy walk to bars, restaurants and shopping on South Congress. Plus the rest of Austin was just a short Uber ride away. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was fantastic for our family of 6 adults. The location was perfect - within walking distance of shops and restaurants on South Congress. Loved the layout, which gave us the ability to be together but also get space. Couldn't use the outside space as the weather wasn't great, but it looks like it would have been nice to eat outside and hang out in the enclosed yard. Owner was great about contacting us. Would highly recommend!

Marfa Modern is an exceptional home with excellent amenities. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with all the superb appliances that we needed. The location was outstanding. We walked each day/night to South Congress for dining and shopping. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Great place

We just spent a long weekend at Marfa Modern and absolutely loved our stay! We strategically chose this Soco location for our second trip to Austin - walking distance to Soco, and short drive in our rental car into downtown and out of the city for self-led brewery /wine tour! This property was clean, clearly well cared for and so nice to return to at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space - breakfast outside, fun lights for the evening! Only thing that could have made the outdoor space better was if there were yard games accessible, like cornhole! Beds were comfortable, and it was so nice for each of us to have our bathrooms. Our go-to for property management was Kevin and he was easy to reach via text, quickly responded when we had a few questions. Would recommend if you’re looking for big, modern, clean, great location, place to stay.

All our family loved the layout and accommodations offered here. It is super convenient to both South Congress and South First St. loaded with numerous restaurants and shops within in easy walking distance. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong staying here.

Since most of our time is spent conversing in the living room, where there was no TV, the very low and uncomfortable sofas & chairs (read cheap) were a constant source of displeasure. The beds were so-so and their frames were raw wood extending to the bed edge. None of this was unusual for an average priced rental, but that's not what this was. too expensive for what it delivers/.
